In addition to some really great quotes, this book is a wealth of knowledge and offers terrific insight into what it means to be highly sensitive. She notes the strengths and struggles along with specific strategies for finding balance and courage to be your true self. Whether you read this book as part of your own self-development journey, or to better understand a friend, loved one, coworker or employee, etc., you’ll be glad you did. This is a good read if you are an HSP. If you’re not, I’d suggest starting with Elaine Aron’s books. But since I know I’m HSP, I definitely enjoyed this book better. Nothing necessarily new, but it was definitely empowering to take your mental health into your own hands no matter what.
