This black & white board book for babies is a notch above others. It has a great rhythm and repetition of the line "Now it's time for us to rest." Plus, it has black & white photos of real babies and their parents, including diversity in the families. Another extra has the page with the text box bordered in patterns to add more visual interest to Littles. Well done!

My 11-month-old would be obsessed with any board book having pictures of babies even if the text was War and Peace.

Board book. A cute book with high contrast pages perfect for young eyes. The black and white pictures feature babies and parents of many ethnicities. The repeated refrain "when it's time for us to rest" adds to the sense of calm. This book is also available in a bilingual Spanish edition. While the Spanish text does not rhyme as much it does still have the repeated refrain.
