Story Outline
On the surface, Nick Riley has it all. He’s grown up in a loving family, owns his own home, and has a job he loves. Yet under that façade of a happy life, Nick hides a multitude of secrets and lies. Those same secrets and lies have forced him to build walls to protect himself and keep others away.
Nick’s life is unravelling, and his walls are tumbling when his brother invites him for a visit to the Isle of Man. Nick is left floundering, unsure which way to turn and who to trust when his past decides to come knocking. Things go from bad to worse when Nick finds the fates haven’t finished with him, and his brother’s best friend, Brody Quilliam, comes to stay.
Brody Quilliam needs a break from his life and the weight of responsibility of his job. So when his best friend, Aaden Riley, moves to the Isle of Man and asks him to visit, Brody decides to take him up on the offer. Only things don’t go as planned when he finds Aaden’s younger brother, Nick, visiting at the same time.
Their love-hate relationship is only the beginning of Brody’s concerns. Events he can’t explain make him think he’s stuck in the twilight zone.
Witches, spells, and misconceptions are only the tip of the iceberg as Brody struggles to come to terms with the unbelievable.

This is the sixth book in the series and should be read in order to give the reader the back story of the other characters. The main characters in this book do get a HEA, but there is a storyline threading through the main story that is a cliffhanger and relates to a future series.

I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey? What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.
I’ve a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.

Ce que vous ne savez peut-être pas, c'est que je suis un peu excentrique, que je vis dans mon pyjama la plupart du temps et que je prends un gâteau le samedi avec mes sœurs chaque semaine. Je consacre un peu de mon temps à m'occuper de mes petits-enfants et lors des journées consacrées à l'écriture, j'aime écrire un mélange éclectique de romance, de suspense et de fantaisie paranormale. Dans l’ensemble, j’ai écrit une romance gay, mais je vais dans le futur sous un autre nom de plume, alors surveillez cet espace.
J'ai une passion pour les livres comme vous ne le croiriez pas et cela m'a conduit dans cette voie et maintenant j'ai plus de 29 livres publiés et je me dirige vers la sortie de beaucoup plus. I started reading this book and quickly realised my mistake, having not read others in the series I was quickly confused so I stopped, went back to the beginning and started again. I can’t recommend highly enough that to understand and get the background of this series is to read it in order.
So restart! With a better understanding of what came before and why our two protagonists react to each other the way that they do you are sucked into an all-encompassing world that grabs hold and doesn’t let go, I loved that Nick and Brody get their HEA but there is room for more.
I can say that I have gone from being completely confused and thinking I had made a mistake to absolutely looking forward to what comes next from this talented author.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 6 in the Manx Cat Guardians series, and you really SHOULD read the other books first. There is MUCH referenced to, but not fully explained, from those books, and you will need to know what’s happened before now. And, you know, I TOLD you to!
Nick has had an attraction to his brother’s best friend, Brody, since he was a child. Now, on the Isle of Man, working on Aaden and Greg’s new kitchen, with Brody in close proximity, Nick can no longer hide his feelings. Brody’s reaction to Nick at Christmas has him questioning everything he ever thought about the squirt. When a certain witchy-poo's involvement in both men’s feelings come to light, and that spell is lifted, Brody is confused about some things, but he knows this: Nick is HIS. They just need to get to the bottom of Brody’s true feelings, what Nick thinks happened all that time ago, and just how deep that witch went with her spell.
So, yes, book 6, but I’ve been awaiting this one since we met Nick and Brody in book 4, Searching For A Soul to Love. Nick is Aaden’s younger brother and Brody his best friend. There were some hints to this book in that one, and a development in 12 Disasters of Christmas and this one does not disappoint!
Well, it DOES, just a tad, and I’m being petty, I know but these books tend to bring out my darkest thoughts, and also the most extreme! I wanted Nick and Brody to get together FAR sooner in this book! They do get together, I just had to wait til nearly the end for the main event! Oh don’t get me wrong, its sexy, and steamy and hawt as hell in places, but for the final joining of their souls and bodies? FAR too long I had to wait! And this is why I can’t stretch to 5 stars!
Everyone has a say, EVERYONE! Brody and Nick, mostly, but some of the other guys get a few minutes too. We also get a lot of that witchy-poo, Christina, and how she spelled Brody and Nick all that time ago, and WHY she did it. And now she’s paying the price for that: but she was warned! She is working off her penance, helping to find out who is trying to sabotage Greg at work and she wants her magic back. She does NOT like feeling human! Some amusing moments, though, for Christina and her body without magic.
King Manannan has a say, and we get how he feels about said witch. Which was totally unexpected! I did not see that coming! There are a lot of HINTS about what Christina is to the King, and about something that her father did to her as a child, but these are not fully explained and I wanted to know! Again, the extremes these books drag out of me! I was like, JUST BLOODY TELL ME!! And Ms Sayle, in true fashion, does not tell me, and so again, I spat me dummy out and threw my toys out the pram and everything, A-BLOODY-GAIN!
And we meet Ellie, and Cam, who are the stars of the next book. And even though THEY didn’t meet each other, I have a feeling their book will be quite explosive. So, write quicker, please!
Because I had to wait so bloody long for the main event, and because my questions about the King and Christina are NOT answered (but I think HERE, everyone will be asking questions about those two!) I can only stretch to..
..a hot and steamy 4 stars

While I had no trouble figuring out who was who and their backstory on Destiny Collides Past and Present, and even if Ms. Sayle is really good at providing some background regarding the characters in her books, I do think reading all the previous books in order might make it easier to follow the ongoing plot.
So, let me start by saying that I'm not too fond of multiple POVs in books, it's confusing to keep up with them all, and while Destiny Collides also featured several perspectives, there were a whole lot more here in LoA. I understand the reason behind this, this is not your traditional, run-of-the-mill romance, but a very detailed story with a huge cast of characters, all of whom play a part in the plotline, it's just that as I said before it can get frustrating trying to get who's perspective we're getting. Yes, most were clearly marked, but there were others that were just interjected into the story.
I really liked Nick and Brody and even if their relationship progressed at the speed of light once they got together after they met again, it didn't feel rushed. They were both intense, passionate people and really fit well together, once they got past the issues Christina had caused with the spell she cast over Brody, that is.
I loved catching up with Aaden, Greg and the rest of the gang, and while I wasn't a fan of Christina after what she did to Nick and Brody, I felt bad for her and I'm intrigued to learn more about her and Manny in the future.
Overall, this was a great addition to the series that only served to make me even more curious about what might be coming next.

Nick and Brody exceeded my expectations!! This entire series is amazing and the story arc continues with this story. This story is so awesome, it is filled with magic, amazing creatures evil plots and plans. The writing is beautiful and the characters live within the pages of this story.
Nick and Brody are awesome together! You will be touched by their heart and feel their pain. Their path to happiness is filled with twists and turns and you will cheer when they find their way to be together. i so enjoyed getting to see some of the other characters that we know from previous books and meeting new and interesting characters.

Laws of Attraction is the sixth book in The Manx Cat Guardians series by JP Sayle. I absolutely loved Nick and Brody together. This story was fantastic - filled with magic, sexiness, sweetness, drama and humor. I love the overall story of the series and each book has just drawn me in more, this book no exception. The characters are colorful, wonderful and well developed... the story well written and entertaining. I loved it all.

This is the sixth book in The Manx Cat Guardians series, and I wouldn’t suggest reading without have read the previous books. What an sensational book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters captivating. The characters were developed and thought out. Brody Quilliam and Nick Riley are the MC’s of this book. I can recommend this book as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Oh my Nick and Brody, I have been waiting for these two to finially get it together, and I can say I was not disappointed at all. This book was so good that you just have to read it and once you start it is almost impossible to put down because you get so involved you have to know how they are going to work it all out. These books are each unique and can be read as a stand alones, but this series just grabs you draws you in, so you can't help but enjoy each one and you just have to read them all because together they just flow into one single tale of life and love.

This book is epic. A world full of fun creatures, magic users, evil plans and manipulation.
The main subject is love.
Not only focused on Nick and Brody finalizing their soulmate bond, there's many of the other characters POV. It was fun having an input on their motivations and see then see how their actions influenced the life of the others.
Oh,and you even get to see how tha King of the underworld acts when he's in love. How fun is that?

Nick and Brody...these two have jumped from the pages since the moment they each appeared. Now, you no longer have to wonder what happened to them as teens and what that means for them today. They are simply amazing and wonderful, humor and heat, and so much more.
We also find out a little bit more about what is happening with the Guardians and WOW!!!

this was amazing.. this series is so much fun and mysterious. things happen and im like.. what just happened here. haha it keeps me on the edge of my seat and makes me feel with them. very good characters and the writing is wonderful. loved it

Of all the books in this series, I found this book the saddest. It broke my heart to read what Nick had to endure as a kid and teenager. It is extremely sad to realize the happiness that was robbed from Nick and Brody all those years.
