i picked up this book a couple months ago because i wanted to become a better sleeper. did i learn important things about sleep? absolutely. did i also learn that carbs produce serotonin? indeed. so what did i take from this book? if you want to be happy, and get great sleep, eat some bread, and you’re all good!

After working extreme shift work for 21 years I’ve developed a very unhealthy relationship with sleep, so this book came into my life at just the right time. I did find in a useful & informative read. There was zero help for coping with the kind of shift work I do, but I hope I’ve learnt enough to help me survive it until I can get out. It’s beautiful presented and all the information is presented in easy to digest bite sized chunks.

This is a well-presented book with helpful information and tips. Much easier to read than the Matthew Walker book. Also notably gives some attention to Menopausal poor sleep which is very much neglected in most sleep books I’ve read. I mean poor sleep only affects 80% of menopausal women so why is that important?!

The book is very basic and dont think would have got good impact. Not worth efforts other than the satisfaction I put efforts in reading it and learned something, though I wont feel it inspired enough to implement them in real life.

Very easy to read and understand. Not so much a book you read in one sitting, more likely to dip in and out to practice the activities
