Combining wonderful illustrations with lift-a-flaps and touch-and-feel components, this unique book introduces children to the different textures that they might find on the seashore.

I love reading this book to children. It rhymes and has sensory stimulations that incorporate the childrne into reading. I read this to the children of the Hayfield Head Start Needless to say they could not get enough of it. They would beg to make sure they got to feel every page and loved seeing what would happen when they lifted the flap of the page to reveal the new sea creature. They loved stroking the soft anemone and scratching the sea star and the sand on the shell. This is such a fun book!
