Elvenshore #8
Return of the Druid
"You're kind's not welcome here", the last druid of the land heard before the chair smashed over his head. The next thing he knew, he was sitting in the dungeon. As he was the only one of his kind left in a land full of people who hated him, Elsie the witch took pity on him. She borrowed the king's yacht and shipped him off to the land of her father. She gave him only one task. Get rid of all the kings of the land and stop the continues wars. Now he faces distrustful town's people, spies and assassins.

I'm of two minds
I really liked the characters and the story of this book. The pacing is quite good.
It seems to me that the author was told to cut the length and so cut one of five words. The style is a little terse.

Another great read
I have enjoyed reading book 8 and cannot wait to read book 9. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and also enjoy the rest of the books written by this author. Highly recommended.

I struggled through the first few pages before giving up. Its just not my style of writing.

I’m afraid it’s not my style of writing either. Felt somehow ‘Staccato’ in the way it’s been written. Although I enjoyed the story I was unable to finish it even though I would have liked to!
