Seriously the best, most realistic pony stories around!

Another excellent installment of the Riverdale Ponies series! It once again contains all the winning ingredients as Poppy works to solve the mystery of a ghost like dog who's been attacking the local sheep herds. And at the same time, discovering a new-to-her ridden event called TREC with her best friend Scarlet.

I was once more drawn straight in to Poppy's world, the realness of her life with Storm, the blend of mystery and challenge, and the friendship she shares with Scarlet. Amanda draws a vivid picture of life on Dartmoor and brings a reality to life with horses, friendships and family that makes it easy to believe you're right there with Poppy through every up and down. I worry with her, laugh out loud with her, and cheer her on constantly. I adore the snapshots we get of her relationship with her little brother Charlie too, who never fails to make me smile and shake my head at him! I learned all about TREC with Poppy and honestly, the first thing I wanted to do when I put the book down, was to go and set a course up to try it myself!! Plus, Poppy has the biggest heart, I love seeing how her bond with Cloud and her friendship with Scarlet has helped her confidence grow.

I can't wait to see what they get up to next!
