Edi Court is training to be a modern-day white witch, her unique ability is healing. Emotionally wounded from her ex, Anto, she has run away from the covenant with a need to heal herself. Following her psychic ability, she finds herself south, along the coast from Melbourne Australia, where she decides to set up her own healing shop, Crystal Sands.
Voltaire is a down to earth guy, a plumber by trade, he believes only what he sees in the physical world. The loss of his mom and sister to breast cancer and his ex, who stole his money and left him with a debt to work off, has caused him to close his heart.
Can Edi stop herself from rescuing another man and landing in deep water? Or with the Beltane energies thick in the air, can this be the start of a new relationship between two wounded souls?
Volt must become a believer in the Magiks and allow his heart to heal. And Edi must learn to trust herself again.
Will a non-believer and a believer find love over Beltane?
Lilliana Rose writes romance in the subgenres of contemporary and paranormal romance. She enjoys helping characters overcome problems or issues, and the misunderstandings that often plague relationships, to help them fall in love. Whether its city heels being replaced with country work boots, or some magic beyond this world, each story shows how love can prevail. She has poetry, middle grade, picture book, novellas, and novels published under various pen names.
After falling out with her covenant, Edi sets out to start a new life. Following her intuition, it seems like she was meant to find a new town, a new purpose, and perhaps a new love.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
After all the trauma of her last relationship, Edi wants to find a new life for herself. As her ex is pretty important in the covenant, she can only do that by striking out on her own, to find a new place to settle down. Fate brings her to a quiet beach, with a boarded up shop, that is simply crying out to be used.
Voltaire is happy with his life, everyone believes it, even himself. When the quirky newcomer arrives, Voltaire has to face his demons, and decide if he wants more from this than a casual fling.
This is such a cute story. I really liked how Edi's magic is woven into everyday life, and she just accepts it as part of who she is. She doesn't flaunt it, but she doesn't hide it. Edi and Voltaire both have their share of trauma in their past, but the story doesn't linger on it too much. They're both more than their history, and are pushing forward with the future.
This is the first book I've read by Lilliana Rose, so I don't know if it's linked to any other series. Beltane Bliss hints at a much more expansive world of witches and magic, but it doesn't waste time with any heavy stuff.
This is a light-hearted and fun book that was quick to read, and I am looking forward to the next part in the series.
Beltane Bliss is the first book in the Pagan Pleasures series by Lilliana Rose.
Edith (Edi) Court is a white witch, a healer and she has a broken heart after a terrible relationship with her ex. She needs to get away, to heal her heart and her 'intuition', her power or whatever you wish to call it leads her to the coast where she sees an empty shop property for lease. Immediately her 'intuition' tells her that she should open a shop selling things like Crystals, candles, incense etc which is what she sets about doing.
Voltaire is the brother of the man leasing the shop, he sees her looking at the for lease sign and from there plays an instrumental part in helping her meet his brother and after the contracts are signed he helps her prepare the store for it's Beltane opening.
There is an instant attraction, strong and hard to fight between the two of them. Edi is there to heal and doesn't want to get involved with another man yet. Voltaire needs a woman but not Edi's type, one into Magik and all that 'new age' stuff. His mother and sister were both believers of all of it including alternative medicine and both died of breast cancer. Any belief he had in Magik died when they did. Will they give in to their desires even if they can't see a future together? Or will they decide that love can conquer all?
This book had a fabulous storyline, but I feel as if the author could easily have expanded the detail. Certain things happened so quickly which made them hard to believe. A little bit more time given to those things would have been much better. I don't want to give spoilers so can't explain properly what I mean, but I am sure if you read the book you will know what I mean. I did enjoy the story but just have to say that there was definitely room for improvement. It certainly doesn't stop me recommending it though, and I am still keen on reading the next in the series.
Edi is a White witch and healer, who is looking for a new place to live and start in life due to her ex, Anto. She has been driving and is drawn to this beach area, so she goes. She then walks over and finds a storefront for lease. She runs into a hot guy there, Voltaire, who calls his brother to come show her the storefront. Voltaire volunteers to help Edi. The two are extremely attracted to each other. Voltaire is slightly skeptical of the type of shop she is opening, due to past circumstances. But he is also interested, and helps her when needed. Edi also knows its Beltane, and is worried that they are attracted to each other because of this....read the book to find out if this is true or not. This book grabbed my attention from start to finish. It was a really quick read, and I wanted it to keep going. Definitely want to read more in the series, and will read more by this author.
Our heroine is a witch trying to start over after a bad break. Our hero doesn't believe in magic. So when she has to rescue him from a magical mishap, sparks fly in more ways that one. Is there a way to bridge the gap between their two worlds?
This is book one of the series, so no issues there.
This is an urban fantasy story with a witch as the lead. The story is well written and easy to read with a nicely detailed setting that I really enjoyed getting to know. I always enjoy mixing the mundane and the magical, so this was very fun. The characters are also well done and compliment each other well, although they struggle a bit to figure out how. The plot moved at a good pace and included a nice bit of action, mystery and humor as well as a bit of steam. Overall, this was a fun introduction to the world and characters and I definitely look forward to getting to know more about both in future books.
Highly recommended.

BELTANE BLISS by Lilliana Rose was an Out of the Box book for me and She Had me Intrigued from the Very Beginning! Once I started reading, I Could Not Put It in Down and devour it in ONE Sitting! Two lost souls wanting to find happiness elsewhere and discover new journeys in their lives. Edith a white witch wanting start over in another place after leaving an controlling lover. And a Sexy plumber Voltaire wanting to explore this energy pull from Edith when he saw her looking a leasing for a store front. After a phone to his Brother, everything snowball's to place. The Electricity Sexual chemistry between the two characters are Off the Charts Hot and Entertaining at the same time with their Banter plus the struggle with one another on their feelings. Definitely Must Read Book with its Dark and Entertaining secrets and CANNOT WAIT for the Next One!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beltane Bliss has such a great storyline. It was a quick read, and I enjoyed it immensely.
I loved Edi. She is a white witch who accepts her powers and seems to enjoy having them. She is struggling to get over her ex, and I love how realistic that struggle is. She reacts to it as most would, and I was happy to read her.
The one thing I would say on the negative side was that it was a bit too short. I almost wish the book could have been longer so things could have been expanded on. The romance happened quickly, the plot points happened quickly – I liked the storyline so much, I just wanted more.
Aside from that, I highly recommend this one. It’s fun, with a good storyline.
*I received a copy of this book as part of a blog tour with Rachel's Random Resources. All opinions are my own.*
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book from this author and am looking forward to more. Set in an Australian beachside suburb - reminiscent of my own experiences on Jervis Bay at Callala Beach - our heroine is escaping a thoroughly bad relationship to the disapproval of her family and community. It gives a tantalising glimpse into the world of white witchcraft and the connectivity of those who are sensitive to the land, auras and the spiritual world. Through a heady not-quite-romance but lustful reaction to a local, we see how they are drawn, yet fight from their own personal backgrounds, towards their own relationship, aided by the power of the Beltane festival. I would love to read more about these two very interesting characters.
Voltaire Brown was almost ruined by a woman so he can’t believe how much he wants to help the one interested in leasing his brother’s property. There is something about her that addles his brain and makes him want more.
Edi Court may not be a full white witch but her heritage as a healer and her Magiks training will be enough to open her own shop. Away from the city of Sidney, away from her parents, and away from the man who ruined her life. The last thing she wants is another man in her life, especially with Beltane just a few days away, but all she can think about is Volt’s hot, hard body.
This is a good series starter. It will be interesting to see where the series goes from here. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
Interesting start to a new series. Edi is a white witch running from her past and trying to heal old hurts. Volt is a local human with a sensitivity to Magik and is suffering from the loss of his mother and sister. He bumps into Edi and the attraction between them is instantaneous and he commits to helping Edi set up her new shop. Both feel the attraction but are hesitant because of their pasts but they come together to overcome the ghost that is haunting her new shop. This is a sweet, quick read but there could have been more, I would have liked to understand both of their pasts a little bit better.

This book was EXACTLY what I needed. Beltane Bliss follows a lone witch on her journey of self discovery and healing after a tough breakup. Following her intuition, she finds a perfect spot to start up her own business, and to start the healing process. Here she meets Volt, a stranger she feels an immediate connection to, also in need of healing. Can they heal each other?
I loved this story so much. I have connections with wicca and I felt like this story accurately depicted it whilst also making it special and magical. I loved the characters and Volt is my new favourite male in a series! I cannot wait to continue on with the series.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started reading because different authors write differently for supernatural abilities, but was pleasantly surprised :)
Ed’s has just left a controlling man called Anto, and has followed her intuition, which has led her to a new life. In the start of her new journey we meet Volt, and they have an instant connection. This story is about them getting to know one another, and the opening of Edi’s new shop .. I liked the easy writing style and the characters, would recommend this easy read :)
A good story about a witch and the unbeliever that she falls for. Voltaire is just a regular guy, a plumber by trade but untrusting by circumstance, he only believes what he "sees". Edi is a witch, running from her broken past and learning to trust again. When their paths cross, they must both learn to trust again and hopefully find way into each other's hearts. A fun twist on the opposites attract plot.
White Witch Edi is running from a bad experience and follows her intuition to the sea and meets Volt, a plumber, also running from a bad experience. The story is cute but the book needs more work. There was more focus on mundane things and not enough on the important things. I don’t want to give away the secrets but there are several that could have been fleshed out more and made it a better book.
Edi and Voltare are two lost souls that are damaged and lost that come together and form one. While Edi is a white witch that is running from the mistakes she made with an evil man she finds voltaire and realizes that he is just as broken as her. This is a well written book that has characters that are well developed and make you root for them. This author is new to me and I look forward to read more of her stories.
This is a great fast paced story. It gets you hooked and then you are at the end. Edith is running from her life. So she gets in her car and drives. She drives till she feel she is in the right place. Edi is a white witch training to be a healer. She meets Volt while she is looking at a for lease store front. Just by chance, its his brother that is trying to lease it. These 2 hit it off right from the beginning. I loved the flow of this story. I enjoyed it a lot.
Can one person fix a broken heart and become more? Find out in this book
After seeing the blurb, my attention was caught. I absolutely wanted to read this book. So no surprise this book did keep my attention from the very beginning. I found the characters themselves charming and the plot enjoyable. I would recommend this to others.
this was a really well done novel, it worked well in the Pagan Pleasues series. I really enjoyed this paranormal romance novel and enjoyed the way the characters were created. I always enjoy Lilliana Rose wrote this and other books. I can't wait to read more in the series.

This was a cute and fast paced paranormal read that I really enjoyed!! Edith and Volt are interesting characters that I found likable! I would very much enjoy reading more about this couple in the future.
This is a cute read. Love the magic that is shown in the books. Really brings to a point that everything happens for a reason. Totally recommend this book for a quick read. Flow is good and well written characters
I liked it quite a lot it was a good short story it has characters that I liked and it has 🔥 and there is a HEA The story is short, but it doesn’t leave you hanging. I would like to read of these characters, but it is not required as this story left them in a good place in their relationship.
This is a cute whitchy romance novella with some good world building that should set up the rest of the series nicely. It move well and goes through a clear timeline of countdown to Beltane which is a nice element. Would recommend.
This was a quick read for me, I devoured it in 1 day! This was very fast paced, and I really enjoyed it, but I wish there was more! I will definitely read more books by this author!
