I don't think I will ever get tired of Lila Rose's Hawks series. These men are freaking amazing, I mean really just #Sigh

Roman 'Gamer' was just too perfect. And that is exactly what Nancy needed after she lost the love of her life.
He staked his claim but he wasn't overbearing about it. He told her he wanted her and the. He gave her time to get use to it. And he made it known that he was taking it at her pace. But Gamer also had his own issues stemming from a terrible childhood but that just made him more determined to be a better man than his father❤️

And it was great to see the old gang again and Talon definitely looking out for his mother in law. Everything about this book was just to sweet and romantic. I didn't want it to end.
Only problem I had Lila was it was too short. Definitely another favourite lady❤️💃

I am so freaking glad that Nancy got her HEA!!

Let me start off by saying that I was fucking devastated when Richard died. Seriously it took the floor from underneath me and I had to count on knowing that this author would do right by us readers because lord I was cursing her in my head for a hot minute!!. I really can appreciate how she wrote her story!. She didn't hide Nancy's pain from loss, her guilt from even thinking about moving on or her journey to being happy again. This story gives us every little bit of her journey.

Nancy is heartbroken after the massive loss of her soul mate Richard but is trying so hard to fake happiness for the sake of those around her. Her journey is a rollercoaster of emotions that really hits you in deep. charater development is so important here and Lila really did a fantastic job in peeling back those layers to Nancy and showing us how it's possible to move on from a life changing tragedy.

Gamer Aka Roman is legit the sweetest. It's takes a special kind of man to handle the situation the way he did without judgment whilst being so god dang supportive. I feel like he went about everything the right way!. His approach was direct yet patient. He didn't mess around with letting her know exactly what he wanted whilst being content in waiting until she was ready.

Their story comes full circle. Firstly with dealing with loss and grief to moving past guilt into learning that it's ok to move on because that doesn't mean you're forgetting him in the process. The journey for both of them was not an easy one and I feel like Lila really did a great job in developing the characters in such a way that it allowed us to connect to their journey. Relate to their emotions and fall in love with their love. I love that Nancy wasn't left to be the broken women of the series but instead got to be the badass who is so lucky to have two great loves!. This was her second chance romance that she greatly deserved and lord knows she got a great guy!.

I cried ALOT during this story because it's a love story but at times it's heartbreaking and bittersweet!. It's not all sad but it's hard to forgot how great Richard was and to not feel his loss deeply!. Lila didn't steer away from him though but instead found a perfect balance of honouring his memory whilst also allowing Nancy and Roman to make their own well deserved happy!. Have no fear!! Roman is a special kind of alpha that will steal your love instantly!. They totally deserved eachother and boy did I want to strangle Talon a time or six!! Even if he was doing what he thought was best!. Those alpha guys and their protective streaks are no fucking joke I tell you!.

To finish off this shindig I'm going to say fuck yes to awesome side characters!!. I LOVE that Lila makes them such a big part of her stories and that we get to see how they are getting on now!. Fantastic characters!!! A beautiful story filled with every kind of emotion and a HEA that will melt your bleeding heart.

LOVED IT.

Out of the Blue is interconnected with the Hawk MC series, but you do not have to read that series to read this book. I have not read all the books in the MC series and followed this story without feeling like I was missing anything. Gamer AKA Roman doesn’t get his road name the way you think and he truly is different than most men. I’m happy that he got a story and while I loved it I hoped that it was longer. Felt a little rushed at end, but that is ok as this may mean that they will appear in future other interconnected stories. You will still enjoy the story though.
Roman enjoys his life and feeling needed in the MC businesses with his knowledge. He’s not your typical MC man who sleeps with women and I actually think it was cute on how hush he dreamed of her from afar and then all it took was one comment to set the motion in force. The best was how he stood up to Talon. That was funny! He liked her for her not her age gap.
Nancy who you may see throughout the Hawk MC as she is mama bear to some of the characters’ lives life happy. Ok happy on the outside and sad on the inside. She still struggles with losing her husband, but her love of her kids and grandchildren keep her happy. Something changes one day and what she thinks is a flirty comment is so much more from Gamer (Roman). You will feel the struggle she endures on if she can move on or if she should remain as is. A little guidance from those you love helps. I truly believe and you will see what I mean once you read the story. Will leave it at that to avoid any spoilers. Does he like her or does he just want a shot with an older women? A little something guides the answer. I love how he waited for the right timing for Nancy to be ready then and now and that he didn’t care about the age gap, body sag gage (LOL) he truly liked her for her and you can see that. It’s all about the timing and based upon his life and her life it works. I think Roman and Nancy are good together. They may have an age gap, but you can truly feel the feelings these two share. I love seeing characters from the Hawks MC and look forward to reading more on the other characters.

First things first; I love the cover to this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I have loved Nancy since she first entered in Zara’s story (holding out). She is usually hilarious and bold. In this story we see a softer side to Nancy. After the death of her husband, three years prior, she doesn’t plan on moving on. She felt like she couldn’t love anyone other than her late husband. That slowly changed when she met Gamer. Gamer is a younger man and is a part of the Hawks MC Caroline springs chapter. Gamer wants Nancy. He has been in love/lust with Nancy for a while but knew she wasn’t ready to move on yet. Finally ready to make his move, Gamer sets about making Nancy his.
The chemistry between Nancy and Gamer is clear to see and I really liked them as a couple. I loved that Nancy gave love a second chance, she truly deserved it.
The epilogue for this book is sweet. I loved the gift that Nancy gave Gamer; it was such a cute moment.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.

Lila Rose is one of my all time favourite writers. I never miss a book and this one has been on my radar since l found out she planned a book for Nancy. Why do l love this book so much? It’s real , an older woman going on with life after her husband of 30 plus years dies. An older woman still wanting to put herself out there to find love and all the hang up that come with that . Add in a younger man lusting after her and l found the best book to get stuck into to. The writing as always is full of humour, the alphaness ( is that even a word?) of Gamer is off the scale! Words like perfection, amazing, and superb come to mind after reading this beautiful book. I cried l laughed and l wanted so much more. Congratulations Ms Rose, you have ensured l will continue to one click your books forever .

Out Gamed had me glued to the pages and loving every minute of Gamer and Nancy's story. We have loved this lady for so long and she has been a part of the Hawks family for forever. A love story that shows us that age is clearly but a number and that moving on after losing your forever love isn't always easy. This story wraps its way around your heart and takes you on an emotional ride from loneliness, guilt, lust, love and acceptance. Roman "Gamer" Power will show us the reason he has the men of the Hawks at his back and why they count him as family. A man with a troubled childhood and demons of his own will reveal that nothing and no one will stand in his way of finally being able to call Nancy "his". A book that showed us achievability in loving again and that it isn't always the older man that gets the younger person.

Honestly love this series! Every book is different! Every one is Unique! They just get better and better.

Up this time is Gamer and Nancy!

Nancy for the last few years since her husbands death has just been existing for her children and grandchildren. She's so lost without her husband but she put's on a brave face and carries on. She has become part of the Hawks family and is ok spending time with them and working. Then at a Hawks BBQ Gamer makes himself known to her.

Gamer has had his eye on Nancy for a while but has kept his distance as he knew she wasn't ready for him but he's finding it hard to keep away from her. He lets her know he likes her and is determined now is the time to make his move. She will be his he just needs to have some patience.

These two!!! Gah i loved them!! I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. We hadn't really seen too much of either of them so i was eager to dive in and i can tell you i was not disappointed.

I'm not really an age gap reader but the few i have read have usually been an older guy and younger woman, these two are the opposite of that and i found myself hoping to find my own Gamer!!

The way the author has written this was done brilliantly. Nancy's situation was handled with care and the story is slow build with lots of flirting to help it along. I love how Gamer took his time. He got to know Nancy first. She needed to know he was serious and also she needed to sort out her own feelings. My heart went out to her when she felt that she was cheating on her husband she was really torn because she also felt what she and Gamer could have if she wasn't so scared. Thank god she gave in when she saw what a good guy Gamer was. Don't get me wrong he's allllll growly and alpha and all the good stuff but the way he treats her will have your heart swelling with joy! He's sooooo hot but also sooo sweet and swoony and YUM!

I absolutely loved this story. It's not as action packed as some of the books in the series but i felt it didn't need the drama. Their relationship carried the story from flirty friends to Old lady status and i just fell for them both.

Of course we get to see the rest of the Hawks family. My favorite part of seeing them was Talon. I loved seeing him go all protective over Nancy and i equally loved the way Gamer didn't care less lol Soooo funny i had visions of Talon's head blowing.

I always recommend this series. There is something for every kind of reader out there so if you love reading multi genre this series is the perfect fit! I can't wait for more of Hawks MC, It never fails to deliver.

Rip Off! Overpriced author! £7.60 for an MC book?! Is this author serious!? I almost fainted when I saw that extortionate, over priced, insane price tag, for her Hawks Motorcycle club books. When every MC book I have ever read has either been free on KU, or at most £2.98.

And it looks like she has these other 0.5 novellas in betwen each 'so called full book" costing £1.98 on to.of the whoppinv £7.60! For example, her book Break Out is a novella and the blurb describes it as book 5.5 in her Hawks MC series, continuing the character's romance from the previous Hawk MC book, and she is charging £1.98 & £2.98 for these so called novellas?! So that means she is charging readers like £10 to read the completed story for each couple?! RIP OFF!

I can't believe people are actually buyng her books?! Surely this is a mistake? Surely they must have bought them before the prices jumped?! Because I just don't get why anyone would pay for this author's boring, poorly worded and ridiculously over priced books, when better authors like Jordan Marie, Jamie Begley, Joanna Wilde, Brill Harper and so many others, are a hundreds times better than this badly written, nothing of a book. Let alone why anyone would pay four times the average price of every other MC book on Amazon?!

Now my shock at price tag has been vented, here's my review of the story itself-

There are more character's names thrown in here than there was anything else. The heroine Nancy, her husband Richard, Zara and Mattie her kids, her foster kid Josie, her daughters friend Ivy, the biker with sea blue eyes, the the prez of the club Talon, Eason and Lan, Julian and Mathew, Deanna, her grand baby Aelia, Oliver, who is Eason"s friend, Cody, Maya, Drake, Ruby, Swan and Nicolas, (suck in a breath) then Mally and Clary and Logan and on and on..... argh! Awful. Really Not good.

The rest was mostly the character's boring thoughts about their insecurities about their crush. Really boring, immature and seriously lacking depth. The wording was also very strange, really poor grammar that made for very awkward reading. And don't get me started how little you get here for £1.98. This is not even a novella, it barely feels like an initial opening scene. Do not pay £1.98 for this book! And do not pay £6.99 and £7.60 price tags for this authors MC books! Go read Jordan Marie, Jamie Begley, Brill Harper, Joanna Wilde, or any other author actually, they are free on KU and are much longer, deeper and better written books than this. Feel ripped off. Won't be reading any thing else by this seriously overpriced, extortionate author.

I will admit I was not really excited about this story. Losing Richard broke MY heart, and reading about Nancy moving on didn't give me the warm and fuzzys. BUT this was absolutely amazing. Nancy having the natural guilt of moving on, and then Gamer being so freaking patient with the whole process and making sure to go at her pace with things. I will admit I got a bit teary eyed at certain moments, but IMO this was just perfect for Nancy and Gamer! It also doesn't hurt that we got to see the rest of the crew that we love so much. I give this 5 stars.

Still grieving for her husband, Nancy doesn't understand why Gamer/Roman, a man 18 years her junior, is suddenly showing interest in her. She can't betray her husband, she can't love another man despite how he makes her feel... can she? Roman has never wanted an Ol' Lady or even any sort of family apart from the brothers of the Hawks MC; the family he chose to be a part of. However, he sees Nancy and sees himself changing that for her, he wants her, he doesn't see her age he just sees the woman she is and he likes what he sees. Can he convince her to give him a chance? Maybe just as importantly can he get his brothers, especially Talon; the club's President and Nancy's son in law to give them a chance and just how far is he willing to go for Nancy if they won't?

This was a sweet story with Nancy finally realising it's okay for her to move on from Richard; she doesn't have to forget him, but its okay for her to love someone else. Once she'd made that decision Nancy really started to come out from under the shadow of grief she's been living with and seeing her flirty, funny and trusting Gamer's intentions towards her was nice to see. I give Out Gamed 4.5 stars.

This is a novella set in the Hawks MC series by Lila rose. The two main characters are already known, being Nancy, Zara’s mom and Gamer who we got to know when he took care of Easton’s dogs in one o the previous books. Both characters were really lovely before so I was looking forward to see what the author would do with their love story. I mean, Nancy already had found and lost the love of her life, so I was really stoked to see how the author would manage the love story with a new guy (who was that much younger than her).
What I really liked was that there was a big character development happening, even though the book was just a novella, so not that long. It was really nice to see Nancy coming out of her shell and Gamer fighting for her, even though he always feared to lose her and the other things that were important to him. The epilogue really broke my heart and I shed a few tears over it. SO CUTE. What I didn’t like was the fact that this book was only about their relationship and the problems the other members (mostly Talon) had with the age gap and Nancy falling in love again. This book was completely missing out on the criminal part that almost every other book in this series had so for me it was a bit boring and not the best book in the series. I liked it, but I didn’t love it.
This book is part of the Hawks MC series but can totally be read as a standalone. The character development might not be as big if you haven’t read the previous books, but nevertheless I’m sure you’ll enjoy reading this book. The writing style was easy to read and understand and I connected rather easily with the story.

Love it..it took me a minute, but loved it

When Nancy lost Rich, she was devastated. We all were. That was the love of her life, father of her children..he was gone too soon. Once the pain settled into a dull ache, she was able to continue on with her children, grandchildren, sons in law and extended family, she was happy, wasn’t she? Gamer has been watching Nancy for a while. He knew about her lost love, knew that she wasn’t happy, but he waited, waited to show her how much he wanted her, waited until the right time..now! The question is..will she be open to making him..hers!

It took me a minute to warm up to this story. I just couldn’t see Nancy with a younger guy. In my head she was much older her age here, but I just couldn’t picture it. However, as the book played out, I loved how Lila took her time, building up the story, building up Nancy finally coming through her grief to see the beauty of living again..to see her have these internal conversations with Richard while she worked through her grief. I especially loved Talon’s protectiveness of Nancy and her starting to date. The issue of his loyalty to Rich was beautiful. As the story unfolded, you could see how Nancy would fall for Gamer..see how they complimented each other. By the end, we were prepared for them to finally come together and then all bets were off. Nancy was a little vixen between the sheets and we loved it.

Great job, again Lila. My love for Talon, his men, and his ladies will last forever. I’m loving how the next generation is starting to grow up and live their lives. This should be an interesting ride.

Loved it

I love this book it was lit. I’m not going even to add any spoilers but maybe I will because my mind goes to a lot of places and is thinking a lot when I am writing my reviews.

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2019...

So let me start by saying this book was lit. I definitely enjoyed it and was ready for Nancy and Gamer to get together... I love that his name is Roman beautiful name for an awesome man. I thought sure that guy I don’t even remember his name well last name that wanted Nancy would be a problem. But he wasn’t a problem for both Nancy and Gamer thank God.

What I do know I am ready for the stories on everybody kids especially Texas (Dive and Low son) and Maya (Talon and Zara) daughter. Like hmmm, what will happen there. Not only that like Will each of there kids end up with each other; I can’t wait until she writes the children stories. But anyways I was glad in the end Talon accepted that Nancy wanted to be with Gamer and he wanted to be with her. Talon was very grumpy, but he loves his family and friends. Glad in the end Gamer moved to Ballarat to be with Nancy. I just wish they could adopt a child or something so that she could’ve given Gamer a child though he doesn’t want any hmm. I’m just saying... Also, their age wasn’t that far off; in my opinion, he was like thirty-seven; she was like fifty-five.

Alright so I totally wasn't sure I wanted to read this one. I absolutely love Lila Rose and all of her books. I re-read them frequently and love them just as much the second, third, fourth...well you get the picture. They are funny and intense and just full of heart. I love them, but well Nancy is THE mom. As in the mom for everyone. She loves them all and cares for them all in her crazy awesome way. She teases and says inappropriate, embarrassing and completely hilarious things I had a moment where I felt like this was going to be like reading a book about my mom and I wasn't going there. Then I really thought about how awesome this author is and how much I love her book so I jumped in.
I should not have been worried. Lila Rose gives us Nancy the woman not Nancy the mother/grandmother figure. It totally works and you really get to see her in a new light. As we know Nancy has had a terrible go. She lost the love of her life and was struggling to move forward. She had so much love in her life but a huge piece was missing. She deserves her happy ending too!!
I love gamer and have since he fell in love with Easton's dogs. He is perfection is this book and I really enjoyed getting to know his character. Their interaction is both sweet and hilarious. I am so glad I decided to jump into this book. Its another great addition to a fantastic series!

What a sensational short story this book is, I loved everything about it!

Nancy being quite a bit older than Gamer, or Roman, is something that takes a bit for her to get her head around which is understandable. Roman knows his own mind, something we saw in the previous book-Out Of The Blue. This very real life issue is handled extremely well by this author and as an older woman myself I applaud her style..and Nancy’s. 😉

Honestly Nancy is a great character, one who is fun and easy to like. Roman is too, he really seemed strange before but I think that was a clever trick by this author. He is a dream second chance for Nancy.

The continuation of the theme-family..blood or not..support and love shines through once again in this novella yet not in a gushy, over the top manner. Offsetting this is the great levity in the story, from the fun banter between characters to Julian’s antics, all are terrific.

I totally recommend this story to everyone and even if you haven’t caught up with all of the books in the Hawks MC series you can still read this and not feel like you’re missing something.

Awww how sweet is Gamer, I just thought Nancy and Gamer were the cutest thing EVER!!

An unexpected pairing, definitely!  Gamer has been lusting after Nancy in secret, but has reached the point where he can no longer hold his interest back.

Nancy is a master of hiding her feelings.  Although it has been years she is still no over the loss of Richard.  She is surrounded by her family, who she loves to death, but there is a loneliness that only a partner could fill.  Knowing her family will always support her, and being older than most around her, Nancy has convinced herself family is all she needs.

Gamer can see the pain and sadness that Nancy hides behind her eyes and is determined to be the man she needs and to put a genuine smile back on her face.  Gamer unlike Nancy is not concerned that there is an age gap between them.

Nancy is completely taken aback by Gamer’s advances.  A HOTT much younger man could not possibly want to start something with her right?  Wrong!! The fact Nancy is older attracts Gamer to her more.

This is a beautiful tale of life after, death and a second chance at love, rolled up in the hot, sweaty, sexy world of the Hawks MC!!

I know that I am going against everyone else's opinion but this one just did not do it for me. First I couldn't get past the age difference and that usually isn't a problem for me but in this book it just didn't feel right. Maybe it is because I knew Richard whereas if she had been a widow before I met her it would have felt different to me. I just go back to how Nancy was when we first met her and that Talon had banned her because of the way she acted at one time. I think I could have even dealt with the age if it was an older member even if there was a five year difference. I am usually on the Lila Rose train and she is a one click for me and she was in this book too I just didn't like it. I have read several books lately by authors that like that large age gap and while I can read about it occasionally but I am hoping that this isn't going to become a new trend for authors. I still like my HEA with marriage and babies in the mix. Yes folks I know I am talking about an MC series but I have seen blood and guts in those books and then they come home to their families so I know it can be done. Anyway I will continue to read LR but this one just didn't do it for me.

Happy Endings

Who here loves a happy ending ?
I stand before you with both hands up . I don't believe we go throw life with our trials and tribulations to only end up alone . I believe we should all have a happily ever after wether it be with someone older or younger , black or white know matter what race or religion . We all deserve to have that one , the feeling of being loved unconventionally with raw intensity and passionately . Butterflies in your belly sweaty palms kind of intensity. Reading out Gamed which was Gamer and Nancy's book all the way through it I kept hoping that they would be together and love each other and not let self doubt and the constant worry of what other people would think bring them down. With Nancy being older then Gamer she was worried the age difference would be to much to handle not to mention her guilt for moving on with her life since her husband Richards death three years earlier . Coming to terms with her emotions she embarks on a journey of self discovery , acceptance and learns that it's ok to love again at any age. This was an awesome book and I could kick my own butt for taking so long to read it .

A good book, IMHO, is one that brings out strong emotions. This is one author that has never failed to bring about some type of emotion in her writings. Whether it be tears, laughs, anger, or exasperation, I always feel something from her books. This book, is sure to be one of my favorites, because it left me with a big smile on my face, and a feeling of gladness in my heart!

Nancy has known the love of a good man, and the loss of him left her feeling empty. While she still has her children, and grandchildren, to keep her going, she knows there is something missing from her life, but doesn't think there is any way to get past it. Gamer is a much younger man, a member of Nancy's son-in-law's MC, and has his own past. But he knows what he wants, and has the determination and patience to bide his time.

I cried when Nancy lost Rich. I'm not ashamed to say it. My heart hurt for her, and all of her family. This book lifted some of that, and their story was the one of second chances. I couldn't help but enjoy their beautiful connection. This story just plain makes me happy!

Ah Gamer and Nancy, after reading ‘Out Of The Blue’ I have been so interested in their story and can honestly say it was worth the wait as I loved every bit of it from the first to the last page.

Nancy Alexander, fifty-five years old, a widow and mother of grown children and grandmother to boot is surprised when a younger man, Gamer, or Roman Power as he was christened, takes a shine to her.

Firstly, I have to confess I wasn’t all that enamoured with Gamer until this book, now I have had my eyes opened well and truly to what a great guy he really is; mind you I didn’t dislike him it was that I didn’t know him. I think it was a clever ploy by the author actually and it worked well.

The sense of humour in the book is so good, especially with a character like Julian, he is so so much fun and overall just fantastic! The fun banter between characters is at times snort-worthy. 😂 However, the overall sense of family and support are still the main underlying values within the storyline.

This is an uplifting story filled with love, as every good romance should!

Nancy has been going through an emotional breakdown since her husband Richard passed away. Spending time with her children and grandchildren help a little, but once they go home, she is left to wallow in her feelings. She has even started to feel that life isn’t worth living anymore. Roman, aka Gamer, has always been a loner. He has never had a significant relationship, but watching Nancy over the years has made him yearn for more. When he sees just how sad Nancy is, he starts flirting with her. Nancy loses it on him, thinking he is messing with her. Roman has other ideas though, he wants her, age not mattering.

The story is sweet as you see how Roman powers through her doubts and brings life back into Nancy.
Only drawback is the story is very short and Lila Rose could have made it longer and done a bit more with their relationship.
I love the reverse age gap, showing the older woman as beautiful and hot. I like the way they touch on the kids reactions.

Characters are always great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was not familiar with this author at all with this being also first time in reading. When seeing what was a bit that lay inside it intrigued me. I was also a bit leery due to the age thing but still ventured in. I do want to see more with that but they really have to work. Surprise this one did too, it worked very well. Once you got Gamer and Nancy's story you are caught up with them with more and more the scales in their favor rooting for success. Of course with him being a biker it was a plus having a soft spot for them in the reading world. What I liked the most is he opened her eyes again to the fact she was more than she thought or remembered. Then we get the delight to see what exactly she does become and how they grow. After getting done with this one I would read her again not just because of the story but of the style and how she can weave the romance around the reader with her characters.

I really enjoyed this book. I was sceptical due to it being Nancy as we have just been reading along the series with her as the flirty inappropriate mum and her sweet husband. So I went in with some concerns on this one.
However, it was actually refreshing to see an age gap the other way (older women). The age gap was male 37 women 55 (18yrs.. we have all read worse with the other way round and haven't blinked, haha.
The parts about Richard always got me. It was so good that the author didn't just dump him and make her move on.
It was a beautiful, respectful, slow burn. Roman/Gamer was so beyond respectful to Nancy that it made you just swoon for him. He always encouraged her to talk about richard, which was so mature and sweet.
I loved that they were both a little cheeky with their flirting aswell.
And out Talon in his place, hehe, even though you saw where he was coming from. And good old Julian popping up was gold.
Great book.

I have loved Lila Rose's books from the moment I picked the first one up and this one is no exception. However, what I love about this one is it touches on a subject that is not often found in MC romances and that is the romance between a couple where the age gap has the female significantly older than the male. 99% of the time it is the other way, older men falling for way younger females but this story celebrates the love of a couple where the age gap is reversed. I loved how Lila wrote the story. It felt so right!!. It wasn't over the top, it didnt diminish their feels or attraction for each other and it made me cheer, cos yes dammit!! Us older women ARE attractive to younger guys!!!!. Thank you Lila for writing another execptional book.

Out Gamed....

....I'm a big fan of Lilas, I love the Hawks and I love all of her other books - if your looking a giggle then defo take a chance on Lila!

Back to Out Games - we know Nancy from throughout this series and she has been such a loveable nut case! And when Richard passed, oh my word I was pure gutted for her! It was awful 😭😭
So when I heard she was getting her own book, I was excited yet sceptical - I'm all for second loves and older people getting an HAE but I was so used to Nancy and Richard - she deserves a good man, will Gamer be enough? (I do get invested in my books/characters lol)
Yes! The answer is yes, Gamer/Roman is lovely 😊 I got so angry on his behalf!! You'll understand when you read it!

Overall....an en excellent read!

Sweet read...

Gamer and Nancy certainly were an unconventional couple but I was all for it after being introduced to Gamer in the previous book and of course Nancy has been a recurring character in all of the Hawks books since the very beginning. There were elements to this story that I really liked. Gamer and Nancy's chemistry was HOT and they had a really great understanding and respect for each other. However, I felt like this story deserved more time and since it was so short it felt rushed to me and lacked any real storyline. I also thought some of the dialogue was a bit sloppy and slightly melodramatic. I have read all of the Hawks MC books and generally enjoy them all and many of them have been 5 star reads for me but this one just felt lacking.

I have to admit, I was a little worried about this book. Why? Well, the age difference, to someone who is almost the same age as Nancy, had me wondering how Lila Rose was going to pull this book off. I should have known better. This author has never disappointed me before and this one wasn't any different!

I loved Gamer and Nancy's story. Lila Rose gave it all the feels I have come to expect from her books! She gave these characters the love and respect for their pasts that they deserved. Only one thing could could have made me love it more but I'm not going to give anything away and it wasn't enough to detract in any way from how I felt about the story.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves Lila Rose and her Hawks MC!!!

*4.5/5 estrellas*

I'm pretty new to Lila Rose's bikers, although I have read all of her RomCom's. I read Out of the Blue when that was released and even though it was a standalone, I knew I needed to grab her biker books because those characters that I only got a snippet of really appealed to me. We got to see a fair bit of Gamer in Out of the Blue so when I heard he was getting a novella I was certain I had to read it.
Gamer and Nancy's connection was believable regardless of the age gap. Nancy's worries and guilt made sense and Gamer's understanding was so heartwarming. I'm left wanting a Gamer of my own.

* I was lucky enough to receive this ARC in return for an honest review.

Older woman/younger man done biker style

I love Lila Rose’s Hawks MC and have read all the books. They are warm and funny with plenty of action and sexy times all thrown together. Nancy and Gamer’s story is one that I wouldn’t have seen coming at the beginning of the series, but I’m so glad that it’s a story that got told.

It’s a sweet and warm novella and if you like Hawks MC, you’ll really enjoy this book. If you havent read the series you might get a little lost and confused with all the people crowding in around the ages of the book wanted to see what’s going on, so I’d only really recommend it for fans of the series. But if you are a fan, it’s worth it.
