My name is Courtney Jane Salinger... and I'm sick of games.
Sick of the Friday night bar-scene-cum-meat-market. Sick of the boy-girl, man-woman, mars-venus, flirtation-without-expectation, game-playing nonsense. Sick of awful dates and one-night stands, booty calls and guys who don’t call back, mixed messages or NO messages and—and—and...I'm sick of all of it.
I’m done. I just can't do it anymore. It's too hard, and worse: little by little, it's making me hard. It's breaking my heart.
What DO I want? That's easy.
I want a house in suburbia with a white picket fence. I want babies to buckle into a minivan. But most of all, I want to be married. I want a husband.
So I've made an important decision: I'm making my escape from the dating world and the single life. I've filled out my application on ArrangeMe.com and I'm putting my fate into the hands of experts.
Is it a little scary? Sure. I mean, I have no idea who I'll end up with. After all, I'm planning to marry a complete stranger.
But between you and me? I can't wait. Being arranged can't possibly be worse than being single. Can it?

Katy Regnery is one of my favorite authors. I love her ”Modern Fairytale” series and her dark romances are amazing. I didn’t fall crazy in love with her new book, ”Arrange Me”. In an overly saturated genre, I do give the author credit for coming up with a plot that I have yet to come across in any other book. The Heroine is a twenty-nine-year-old woman with a successful career and comes from a family with tons of money, but her love life has been one disappointment after another. She’s tired of the dating game. She wants to meet her soulmate, get married, have the house with the white picket fence and 2.5 children. She happens to see a commercial on tv for a matchmaking service that arranges marriages for couples. The company seems shady in that they ask for a pretty hefty fee which is non-refundable and the couples don’t get to meet until it’s their wedding day. The Heroine is hooked in by the ad and offers her faith in it blindly. I do remember being a bit naïve and having an overly romanticized outlook on life at that age so I can see why the Heroine goes full steam ahead with this arranged marriage deal, and yet I just didn’t ever connect with Courtney.
Just when she decides to have this matchmaking service find her a husband, a friend who she never thought in her wildest dreams had any interest in her, starts to make his feelings known. Josh is a sexy and charismatic Hero, and yet I thought the pairing of Josh and Courtney was rushed. Both characters make some pretty rash and irresponsible decisions. I started worrying that maybe this would be the first book by this author that I wouldn’t end up liking at all, but the author saves the story by throwing a harsh dose of reality in the faces of the main characters. Suddenly marrying someone without really getting to know each other is coming back to bite them and we’re left wondering if there is even a hope of a happily ever after ending for the two.
**slight spoilers** This story puzzles me. To be more specific, the heroine does, actually. On paper, the blurb holds promises of marriage of convenience, which I can't resist, and the prospect of seeking a marriage arrangement through the internet, albeit preposterous, fuels my romance reader heart. The idea of marrying a stranger off the internet? Deal, sign me up for this fantasy! I've enjoyed a few books by this author so I truly jumped on this book as soon as it released.
At first and as unrealistic as it was, I enjoyed the premise and characters. Even Courtney and her disproportionate and hasty NEED to marry. To marry someone. Anyone as it is. She's so tired of the "dating game" that she's willing to settle on a perfect stranger and marry him. One drunken night she makes the decision to have "marriage/relationships/sex" experts from the internet arrange the perfect marriage for her. At the same time both her and Josh—the dashing, fun and sexy bartender where she is a regular—discover their shared attraction.
Then begins some exciting and angsty times between the two of them. I really enjoyed this part. I enjoyed the repressed feelings from both heroes, Josh over some silly reasons involving ethical rules set in stone, Courtney over her urgency to marry, have kids before next year. The whole "She wants him but can't have him / He wants her but can't let himself have her" was truly appealing. Until...
Until Courtney unshakable and desperate need to be married started to piss me off.
Under the pretense to save herself for an imminent arranged marriage that would magically solve any pending heartache, she legit pushed away a man she had as much chances to build something with than the stranger she's been "arranged" with.
Poor Josh doesn't know if he wants to get married YET. After all, they only find out about their mutual attraction and chemistry a couple weeks ago. Can you blame the guy? Well, Courtney can. So much so she decides to cut any ties to Josh because he offers no guarantees he will want to marry her in the VERY near future.
Since when marriage holds the power to make couples last? Is a single piece of paper supposed to prevent a marriage from failing? A binding contract is more important than say... commitment?
...As long as you believe arranged marriages can work with patience, persistence, and mutual respect, I know we can make it too.
Courtney evokes reasons arranged marriages can work. Guess what Courtney dear, the same can be told about... organic relationships! But you offered neither patience nor persistence, nevermind respect to Josh.
I'm sure the conclusion will be a happy one, but I can't truly care anymore. I remain curious about Josh and Courtney as couple because the two of them definitely had something but not enough to make me wait for a second book or finish this one (I stopped at 80% out of irritation). I can't look past an heroine so naive and single-minded.

This was a sweet read. The concept of an arranged marriage is intriguing. To be wedded to someone that you don’t know but having the respect and faith that it will work out is scary and amazing.
Courtney Jane Salinger is tired of the dating game and decides to take a leap of faith and have herself matched and be married, sight unseen. She is someone that craves the HEA and wants it now. Josh Dalton is the faithful bartender who serves Courtney most every Friday night. He’s a flirt, a struggling playwright, and has finally figured out that he has feelings for Courtney. But Courtney wants forever and Josh can’t give her that. So off to ArrangeMe.com Courtney goes to get her life HEA. But sometimes life has a way of throwing you a curve ball and all you can do is try to swing and get on base.
This is the first book of a duo. I look forward to to seeing how this arranged marriage works out or will the consequences of Courtney’s decision be her downfall with those she loves.

3.5 Still Believing in The Dream Stars * * * 1/2 Spoiler Free In today's world with "women doing it on their own", it is sometimes not the usual when an accomplished woman with a high powered career with no financial worries still wishing for the dream of a husband, a house in suburbia with a white picket fence, and those quoted 2.5 kids and minivan. Why would such a driven, savvy woman think this is the end all be all...
Well, she still believes in love, family, and wants it to happen. He is there at the bar where she goes to unwind. They are friends, share stories and little did either of them realize that over the year of chats, our bartender discovers he has real feelings for her.
When she shares her doing this ArrangeMe.com and going balls to the wall with it...This is the tilt he needs to thinking of exactly what she is doing.
Katy Regnery is a proven go-to author for me. I love how she crafts and her ability to capture moments. She took the idea of serious frustration with trying to find a partner in today's world and used another vehicle that would only be of today's world, Reality TV. She coupled it with the tried and true dream of having that picture-perfect image of the marriage most of us have had drilled into our heads as little kids.
This is the set up to be finished in the next book. There is a cliffy as to what exactly will be the HEA... so I will have to wait 2 months to know. Thanks a lot, Katy.....

Courtney's had it with dating! She's never meeting any guys worth getting serious with. She's a successful and okay looking woman on Wall Street - she should be able to find someone?! She wants the house in the suburbs, the picket fence, the kids and the mini van!
But since it hasn't happened yet - on to plan B! She discovers this Marriage-At-First-Sight company. You pay a fee and fill out a huge survey and they'll match you with your perfect husband.
She can't wait to finally be married.
But then there's this guy she's seen once every week for a year at the bar - and now - now that she's finally decided to stop dating - he's seems interested in her! Grrrr. Nope! Her mind's made up and he's way too young to be looking for something serious right now!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO COURTNEY??? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
══════════════════
Well, that was so adorable!!!!
Such a sweet and funny and kind of hopeless romance! LOL!
I just adored Courtney and her journey to her happily ever after.
Is it with a stranger or with someone we already fell for while planning to get married to a stranger???
I'm not telling you that - BUT - there will be a sequel - very soon.☺ (Don't worry - there's just a little bit of a cliffy!)
ARRANGE ME was the most adorable & beautiful & romanctic & fun love story! READ IT!!!!
Oh My God Katy that was pure evil. Like it hasn’t been hard enough not to scream out spoilers while reading this book and ruining the surprise of who Courtney marries you throw in a cliffhanger and I have to wait 2 freaking months to find out what is going to happen. I read those dreaded words “The End” and wondered what cruel trickery this was? But nope when I turned the page there was no just kidding, instead there was an introduction to Arrange Us and I nearly cried.
So if you read the blurb you know Courtney is sick of the whole meat market. All she wants is to skip along to the happily ever after already, so she takes matters into her own hands to get the ball rolling. And despite the fact that I think she is crazy I can respect her choices. She knows what she wants and she goes after it hard, letting nothing get in her way and honestly that all took some serious lady balls because some of those hurdles would have had me flat on my back.
And even though I had a fairly firm idea of where this was all leading I still was hanging on every word dying to see how it was all going to play out. Courtney was the best female character I have read in a while and I fell for her immediately. And even though I liked her husband she was still the star of the show for me. I am hoping that we will get to see her husband in a slightly better light in the next book. Not that he wasn’t great in this one just I prefer my men a little more sure and possessive and he had moments he felt a little wishy washy but that might just be me.
Anyway I really enjoyed this book and the concept as a whole was awesome. And now I am off to cry and moan on Katy’s messenger about how mean and nasty it is to leave me on an unexpected cliffhanger, especially one I have to sit on for 2 long as hell months. And yes I probably should have checked GoodReads before I dove in but it was Katy Regnery so I just jumped on in.
Out of the frying pan into the fire. Who needs the drama of a bad reality show, with Katy Regnery waiting in the wings. Arrange Me can charm the heart right out your chest. Witty, irresistible and with the heartfelt emotion Regnery is known for, Arrange Me turns clueless into cute. Courtney is a pleasure you can't put down. I never stop looking for my next addiction and I think I've found the one.
So, I liked the idea and this plot, but main characters didn't work out for me. Hero is bartender/playwriter. He flirts with everyone at his working place, his motto:"more flirting - more tips". Heroine was drinking at this bar for year, and was watching him flirting with her bbf, with every other woman too .. When hero knew that she is off market- she went to some place where arranged marriages took place, he was suddenly very interested in her. WTF??!!! Heroine was clingy, she tried to play strong but failed. Hero was living with his ex, and 3 persons more... they are just friends... Don't think so.
**WILL NOT READ** I cannot support an author who is comfortable with intimidating reviewers. Unfortunately, it has happened in the past and recently on Twitter. It is unnecessary, immature, mean-spirited and in extremely poor taste. Unsolicited and sarcastic comments are not going to win over fans. It's sad that some behave this way when all have a right to respectfully review and give their opinions.
This was cute, sweet, funny, and had just enough drama. When Courtney made up her mind, she was stubbornly determined. Josh was so darn sweet- a very good book boyfriend. I can't wait for the conclusion to their story. Happy reading!
Having read and loved a previous book by the author before, I couldn’t wait to read her newest release, Arrange Me. It has an eye-catching cover and an intriguing synopsis to keep you wanting for more.
In the story we get to meet Courtney Jane Salinger, a twenty-nine-year old successful woman who has done well for herself in her career, but not so much in her love life. She is tired of hopelessly dating men who don’t see eye-to-eye with her in terms with getting married. Courtney pictures herself living in a perfect little house with kids running around and an adoring husband to call her own. With that said, she takes matters into her own hands after watching an ad on tv for the reality show Arrange Me. The ad claims to match her with the perfect husband, all she has to do is pay a fee and fill out a thirty page application in order for the experts to match her properly. Even though everyone around her keeps telling her that she is making a big mistake, Courtney is willing to take the risk if it means finding her soul mate once and for all. But just when her application gets accepted, fate decides to intervene and throw her a bit of curve ball when someone that she knows takes an interest in her and everything around her starts to change. She’ll have to decide if she is willing to wait for him to adjust to the idea of marriage or keep pursuing with the matchmaking service.
I very much liked the concept of the book, it was bit cliche but the author was able to give us a bit of twists and turns to keep us reading until the end. In terms of the characters themselves, I found them both interesting but their chemistry/relationship was a bit rushed for me. Courtney is tired of the same dating game with no idea if she is going to find the one and as she gets older she wants to settle down, which is understanable. She makes a rush decision and reality kicks in at the end when she has to face the consequences of her actions. The dual point-of-views in the story really made it stand out as we got read more about each other separately and what their reason is for the decisions that they make. The ending does end in cliffhanger, since it’s a duology and I’m interested to see how the author gives the characters their happily ever after. If you are a fan of matchmaking tv shows with a twist, then this might just be the right book for you.
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
This is one of those books that is all kinds of sweet and hopeful and yet frustrating as all get out all at the same time, at least it was for me, and it kept me turning the pages to see what would happen with Courtney and would she find her perfect match.
Does she??
Well, as you can see this is a duo/duet/duology...however you want to look at, we are getting more of Courtney and her journey, so I cannot confirm nor deny anything...at all. But what I will say is that I honestly like Courtney. I really do. She is a sweet and caring person who is just a good person down to her very core. But she also drove me a little batshitcrazy after awhile...the words (paradox) “Immovable force vs unstoppable object” popped into my head and they are a pretty accurate description of her as well. And I know they aren’t supposed to work in concert with each other, but when you meet her you’ll understand (hopefully).
As for that ending. That ending definitely has me wanting to find out what will happen next. The possibilities are endless and I’m not even going to attempt to figure out what is coming for us in Arrange Us. I am simply going to wait patiently for the next one and roll with the punches.
~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~
Most of the time I thought Courtney was nuts, but I had to see where this was going, so I kept reading. Will I read the sequel? Maybe. I just think Josh is in for a world of hurt... 3 1/2 stars
This ends on a cliffhanger, which I did not know! The story of Josh and Courtney is a cute one, albeit a bit on the cheesy side. I still enjoyed it and will be getting the next one when it is released. 3.5 stars from me.
This book was so unique and different and refreshing. I didn’t see it going the way it did but I am so happy that it did. This is a pretty much new author for me. I’ve only read one book by her. I will warn you this is a cliffhanger which I absolutely hate only because I want it all now. I want to know how their story ends. Loved them as a couple. It’s not your usual storyline and I think that’s what I enjoyed the most. Now I can’t wait for book two!!
Courtney is a successful young woman who decides she is tired of the dating scene and is ready to marry and move forward with the rest of her life. So, she decides to take things into her own hands. She analyzes this “problem” like she would a project at work and decides an online matchmaking site is her best solution. Ignoring arguments from a few friends, she pays her money and signs up. She’s committed to the idea of letting the online service coordinate her “arranged marriage.” They’ll match her with a man that they deem most compatible and the couple won’t meet until their wedding day. It sounds logical, right? Of course, we all know that nothing goes as planned and there are some twists to the story that Courtney won’t see coming. It’s those twists that keep things interesting, just like in real life.
With Arrange Me, Ms. Regnery is giving us a different type of love story. We are left to wonder if a couple can still fall in love when they approach the relationship in a non-traditional way? Can they start with marriage first and then work backwards and do all the things that grow a new love? Will it still work that way? Will their love be as strong? Will it be stronger? Are they really compatible? Unfortunately, we have to wait for the second book, Arrange Us, for the answers to these questions. Fortunately, it is coming out in May! To say I’m looking forward to Arrange Us might be an understatement. There isn’t necessarily a cliffhanger at the end of Arrange Me…aw heck, yes there is. Any time you are left wanting the rest of the story NOW, it’s a cliffy. Kudos to Ms. Regnery for a book which could evoke "feelings" while still making it a fun read.
These were some of my favorite little gems from the book:
"...friends don't shatter each other's dreams, and if I can't make hers come true, I have no right to take them away."
"I turn away from the sparkling water to look at my wife - my wife- and I can't help the possessiveness that clutches my heart. The intense tenderness that draws every cell in my body to a corresponding cell in hers."
**** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***
The story is sweet, fun and completely entertaining. As book one in a duet, this book leaves us with a cliffy ending and I can’t wait to read more. -4.5 Stars!-
Y'all Katy Regnery handled this unique and unconventional storyline with the very sort of effortless grace I've come to expect from her writing. This is unlike anything she's ever written before, but at its core, it still delivered in all the areas that make this author's books so special. That is: Arrange Me was deeply romantic, beautifully written, and completely captivating.
I wasn't really sure what to expect from an arranged marriage storyline, but even so - things didn't play out exactly the way I thought they might. That was okay though, I enjoyed the surprise of it all and I especially enjoyed the way it sparked those butterflies in my belly, and ignited that flame in my heart that enthusiastically wrapped itself around these characters and this charmingly unorthodox love story.
Honestly, it sometimes felt like watching a favorite romcom play out on the big screen. There were moments that felt almost cinematic, like scenes from You've Got Mail or Sleepless in Seattle. Don't get me wrong, the plot of the book is not really anything like either of those movies, but the feel of the book was similar to the feeling I get watching movies like that. There were scenes that jumped off the pages at me, and I loved every minute of it. I loved the way Ms. Regnery's words lit me up inside, and took me on this sort of romantic ride. And then? Left me hanging on a sort of gentle cliffhanger waiting to see where things go from here.
And I'm ready! I want more! My heart is poised on the edge, understanding that there are many obstacles in the way, and filled with optimism and hope that it won't come out of this too bruised from what lies ahead.
In case there was any doubt? Yes. Yes. YES, I think you should read this book! It was sweet and swoony and romantic. It caused my heart to pinch, and flutter, and overflow with feels. It wasn't the story I was expecting, but it was the perfect story for these characters and the kind of story you read over and over again because it feels so good. I cannot wait - am literally hanging out here with bated breath - to see what Ms. Regnery has in store for us next... ~ Shelly, 5 Stars
Get away from the idiot box, and that horrible show Married At First Sight, and dive into Arrange Me.
I have seen the name Katy Regnery around book world for a long time now, however this is my first Katy Regnery read.
And what a sweet and refreshing read it is. I have been reading a lot of crime and darker stories lately, and Arrange Me is the perfect read to get me out of the darker book space.
I am sure we have all been in the same headspace as Courtney, sick of dating, sick of kissing the toads to get to the prince. I am not sure I would go as far as she does though! That's one heck of a big step to take!
There was something that I really hoped would happen, but you will need to read for yourself to find out what it is.
I laughed, I was full of hope and love for Courtney and her journey. There is a second part to this story to come, and I can't wait to see where we go next.
"Marriage _ the certainty, the inherent partnership, the unconditional love, the promise of a sweet forever..." How far are you willing to go to find THE one? Katy Regnery talks about a common issue with a uncommon story. Courtney decides to pay professionals to find her perfect match, but not just for dating him. For MARRYING him. Yes an arranged marriage, she won't meet her husband before D-day. When i first read the blurb i expected a light romcom and i had a lot of questions. Who does that? Why? How can you marry someone you don't know? How fast can you fall in love? How fast can you trust someone? Isn't physical attraction necessary ? ... I never watched tv shows with this kind of subject because for me love is not a science. Love is irrational, magical, inexplicable; It's about chemistry between two human being and not between two questionnaires. Finally this book has more depth than i thought. Yes it's a beautiful slow burn romance with heat, sweetness, funny banter... But the debate about arranged marriage is really interesting. I particularly liked the discussions between Courtney and Dina, her amazing bff.
I understand Courtney's motivations. Boring dates, douchebags, disappointments, heartbreaks, waste of time... At some point you don't trust your judgement anymore, you see all your friends tying the knots, you loose hope... And when you're desperate you're ready to try everything. Courtney is not stupid just desperate. I understand her future husband's motivations too. Arranged marriage is a risk, a bet, but sometimes you find someone whose worth the risk. Katy Regnery likes fairy tales so of course, Courtney's husband is a prince charming, as beautiful, smart, funny, kind and brave as her.
This book smartly shows us that life brings surprises, unexpected factors that science can't anticipate. Courtney has to deal with some of those unexpected elements. Her husband too.
I can't wait for book 2. Marriage is about compromise, sharing dreams, it's an everyday work and sometimes reality can make things difficult (some people too). Courtney will have to face the world with someone she barely knows and i'm sure the author will make this journey interesting and moving. If book 1 is kind of the recipe of Love, i think book 2 will be the recipe of a successful marriage.

Today’s dating world is not what it used to be, and while we can thank dating websites and apps for a lot of those changes, due to their ease of use and a plethora of choices, single people have also changed the dynamics of dating, swiping left or right, looking for nothing more than a one-night stand, and not settling for one woman when there seems to be a never-ending supply.
What’s the complete opposite of the dating games that Courtney Jane Salinger is no longer willing to play…how about a website called ArrangeMe.com where you submit an application and let the experts do their arrange marriage magic.
Can you imagine how desperate Courtney is to take such an extreme step…I mean, it shouldn’t be that difficult to find a happily ever after, but it sure seems like it is and what’s even more mind boggling is the fact that what Courtney wants is what everyone deserves in life.
But here’s the thing, in any kind of arrangement, there’s a bevy of things that can go wrong, which means that even in an arranged marriage, there are no guarantees, even after the decision is made and the journey begins, and with some interesting outside interference, it’s unclear if Courtney made the right or wrong decision, even when everything is said and done.
I haven’t read a Katy Regnery romance story in quite some time, so when I saw the sign-up for an advanced copy of Arrange Me, I instantly filled out the form. I love Regnery books because they’re unique, not only in their concepts and content but also in the paths she takes her characters on, and I’m excited that Courtney’s story will continue in Arrange Us.
Ok, I need a time machine STAT! I can’t wait till May to find out how this Arranged Marriage turns out!!! I forgot it was a duet and when I hit that last page, I was like - Whaattt?!?!?
Courtney is one of those girls that sets her mind to something and nothing can sway her into changing it. Like many women in the real word, she’s sick of the games from the dating world. She just wants to be loved, have a committed relationship and work toward having the family she dreams about. She has a great job, she even comes from a prominent family - she doesn’t need a man to support her, but she does want one to love her. Who can’t relate to that??
And once it’s all said and done? Katy Regnery does an incredible job of putting the reader in her shoes as question upon question invades her mind about the person she’s now committed to yet hardly knows. All those little things that you come to learn from your significant other is unanswered and Courtney finds herself getting overwhelmed at times as she flounders around those items that end up feeling significant. She’s also in a bit of a hurry to grab that picket fenced yard and minivan. She nearly gives the guy a heart attack. In her rush to fulfill the whole dream, she’s forgetting to live in the moment and enjoy this new person in her life. Get to know him. Cherish the time with him.
I’m way more than anxious to find out how this arrangement works out. I NEED to know what happens next!!! How is this all going to end up?!?!?!? It’s obvious they have some MAJOR hurdles coming their way...I don’t know how my nerves are gonna be able to stand it.
I really enjoyed this book. The concept unique and had me thinking that the idea as foreign to me does have merit. The author did a fabulous job of exploring the dynamics of arranged marriages in comparison to conventional relationships. I loved the characters of Courtney and Josh. Their relationship is different as he is a struggling playwright/bartender and she an old money wealthy financial analyst. I can't wait for book 2!
I really enjoyed this book. It's a modern day arranged marriage theme but with a bit of a twist. The heroine is determined to get married, she's fed up of dating, getting hurt so she is relying on a website who say they specialize in arranging matches. In the time she decides this she meets the Hero. I was a bit frustrated with the heroine's adamant conviction to continue on the path of the arrangement despite her feelings for the Hero, he isn't offering definite commitment but they don't know each other well enough for that. I thought he was quite reasonable wanting to see how things developed. The Hero is a flirt, as tips are better, he's a bartender to subsidise his writing, but he never gets involved with anyone at work who he is flirting with. He says he hasn't looked at a woman since he notices the heroine, they've know each other for a while, as bartender and customer, but he sees her in a new light, so we could assume there were other women but there are no details or definite situations mentioned except a reference to an ex who he now shares a house with along with her current boyfriend and others. The heroine is over the dating game so we can assume she's had previous relationships but again there is nothing specific mentioned. No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine. No cheating. It ends on a cliffhanger, though not a desperate one, the are issues on the horizon. I can see him having ex drama in book 2. It's an interesting concept as they know each other but also don't really know each other though there is a definite connection, both physical and in their interests. It's well written. Part 2 is out on may 2019 I believed so not long to wait. There is also the potential of another book in the series about her friend who is very different with her and although there are no details it appears she goes home with different men and dates frequently.

I am a reality tv fan and as soon as I saw the premise for this book I couldn’t wait to start reading. Arrange Me takes the idea of a show like married at first sight and runs wild with it.
“I’m getting married tomorrow. I just wanted you to know.” I hit “Send,” then clutch my phone to my breast with white knuckles. It buzzes a moment later. “Beautiful. Smart. Funny. Kind…and brave. He’s the luckiest guy in the world,”
Courtney is tired of the dating scene and wants to fast track to her white picket fence hea dream. She signs up with Arrange Me dot com to set that in motion, but not everyone is on her side in this endeavor.
The story is sweet, fun and completely entertaining. As book one in a duet, this book leaves us with a cliffy ending and I can’t wait to read more. -4.5 Stars!- -Diane-
Who knew I'd love this as much as I do?? I loved the two characters, Courtney and Josh, and I really became invested in their lives.
Courtney is a single woman tired of dating who becomes disillusioned with the dating scene. She takes a stab at an.... unconventional way to meet someone. I really felt for her character and I applaud her for taking a chance.
Josh is a little more complicated and I worry for him. He's got the most to lose in this story and really put it all on the line for Courtney. I just hope it works. I loved his distinction between the two of them--she was in it to be with someone while he was in it to be with her.
