Probably complete bullshit, and dated by now. We are bombarded by outright propaganda and lies via the MSM and social media every day. Key couldn't have anticipated the level of indoctrination practiced today.
Hidden skulls and the word s e x in a print ad seems almost quaint by now. I may read this again for the nostalgia value.

This book exposes the subliminal techniques used in advertising. It contains pictures of specifically created examples that are manipulated and many others that are shown as having been manipulated. A real eye-opener for folks who don't realize how advertising attempts to manipulate your behavior.

A very corny book I read back when I was still a college volunteer at my local library. The author takes a legitimate concept (the use of subliminal messages by advertisers) and stretches it to ridiculous levels. The title refers to a supposed perverted extravaganza going on in a Howard Johnson’s restaurant placemat. Apparently this “subliminal message” didn’t work for them, as now HoJo restaurants are all but extinct.

I REALLY LIKED THIS BOOK. I COULDN'T BELIEVE SOME OF THE THINGS ADVERTISERS PULL. I AM NOW EVEN MORE SKEPTICAL WHEN I WATCH T.V. I ALSO PICK THINGS APART 10X MORE NOW. OH BUT LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I DIDN'T AGREE WITH THE BOOK IN IT'S ENTIRETY.

Only of interest to see just how ridiculous these things can get.

Incredible book. It only touches the surface, without a doubt the most important book of the 20th century. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Key. Thanks Dr. Key, love you! John Anderson

This is kind of like when a new indie band emerges on the scene, and they're pretty hot, and then they keep milking that same sound for three or four albums, and then that one comes out where everybody knows it's pretty much over already. The blush is definitely off the rose, dearie.
