3.4 stars. The consent was really good in this book and I appreciated that. I feel like they had some healthy conversations and negotiated well. The writing is a little awkward and I wasn't a huge fan of how the three person relationship was dealt with. But it was a fun read. There are three point of views and three audiobook narrators. So the audiobook was interesting to listen to and I had a good time. But will I read more by this author? Maybe?
Both men are bisexual. The woman is a virgin and has not experimented or kissed anyone. The husband has experimented but has not had penetrative sex. And the third partner has had sex but we don't hear much about his past partners. He does have some guilt over some bad sexual behavior in the past.
They do not talk about contraception or sexually transmitted diseases. One of the characters mentions in his mind that "oops, I should've talk to them about condoms before I had sex with them. I guess I'll talk to them after I have sex one more time."and then we never hear them have that conversation.

Once I started Wild Ride, I couldn’t put it down. It was the perfect balance of sweet and smexy and just enough drama to keep things interesting and I just kept getting pulled in deeper and deeper into all that was going on with Quinn, Trevon an Devra. They had so much going on, individually and together that the need to see how it all worked out was strong and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway.
I ended up adoring Quinn, Trevon and Dreva. You have three really, really good people who have been given a raw deal at some point in their lives and are searching for that sense of security and stability in every way. They all have good hearts and yet are HORRIBLE at communicating, even when they think they aren’t. The conversations with themselves in their heads is kind of epic in this one, but I loved how they worked through it all and ended up being each other’s safety nets, while helping to nudge each other to be better. The ups and downs in their journey are many, the chemistry between them all is INTENSE and the big ‘ole sinkhole that pops on them had me wanting to gut someone with a spoon, but I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.
This really was a fun read. It was smexy, fun, sweet and had just enough angst to keep things interesting. Funny enough this is only the second or third book from this world that I’ve read, the others are from the Powertools side of things, so I expected to be a bit overwhelmed at meeting the gang from Hot Rod’s, but I wasn’t. Yes, there are quite a few of them, but they were all introduced so smoothly throughout the story that I didn’t any issues and really do want to find the time to catch up on their stories to see how far they’ve all come. This is a menage, so there is MFM, MMF, MM & MF, if that isn’t your jam, then it isn’t your jam, but I loved that they were all in.
And then there is that tease of what may be coming at us in the next book...alls I can say is bring it on!

Welcome back to the Powertools. I missed all of our friends. When I picked up this book, I was hoping that the characters and story lines would be as interesting and fun as I remembered. Well, I wasn't disappointed. The one thing that I did notice was that it seemed more of a mature and evolved writing style and I truly enjoyed it.
We've me Quinn before and it's wonderful that he got his own story. And, what a story it was. All the trial and tribulations that he went through before Roman rescued him have actually made him a better man. Yes, he has his moments when he just needs to take off. Yes, he doesn't think that he will ever find the happiness that this brother and all the other Hot Rods and Powertools have. Until he sees Trevon and then meets his wife. But, that's the one line that he will not cross – he'll never come between a couple. The most that he can do is give them a lift up, help them get out of the situation that they are in and hope that his feelings are not showing … for either of them.
Trevon always knew that he was bi-sexual but he would never disrespect Devra. He has to hide his urges and his feelings for her and for Quinn. He would like nothing more than to make love to his wife but he can't bring himself to take that from her after all that she has had to give up. He would like nothing more than to make love to Quinn but would never do that to Devra either. Working at Hot Rides is the best and worst thing that has happened to him.
Devra loves Trevon and wishes he will give her a chance to show him. She sees how he looks at Quinn and can't help but believe that it's him that he wants instead of her. She's conflicted because she would like nothing more than to be with Quinn as well. But, she has one big problem that she has to overcome and doesn't know what to do about it.
As Trevon and Devra find out about the lifestyles of the other Hot Rides they can't help but wonder if there is hope for all of the after all. So, with a little help from Quinn they find themselves finally admitting to their feelings … except for Quinn … the odd man out that's totally in love with both of these people.
I really enjoyed everything about this story. Devra and Trevon had unusual back-stories and it played out throughout the story. We knew and understood Quinn's reasons for being insecure and I applauded when Devra and Trevon finally let him know that he was more than just a mentor, a boss or a sometimes lover. I loved how Devra's trials and tribulations were handled but I hated how and why it happened. But, kudos to Jayne Rylon for addressing this growing problem in our world today.

Quinn is the sexy and hot ‘baby’ member of the Hot Ride team. Quinn has had a terrible upbringing and was saved from their mother by his older brother Ramon. Subsequently Quinn has not yet been able to find lasting love.
By chance Quinn meets the equally sexy Trevon and is more than a little surprised to find out that Trevon has a wife. Trevon and Quinn really start to form a bond while working at the Hot Ride motorcycle repair shop together. Trevon’s wife Devra soon notices and the jealousy kicks in hard.
With a few twists and turns along the way you’ll find out who falls in love with who, and what happens to make this unusual situation what it is. Wild Ride is just that, you’ll need to hold onto til the end just to see what happens.....highly recommend for the romance MFM genre.

Dear me, I didn’t realize just how much I missed the gang from Hot Rods and the Powertools. But wowza, it was just like visiting some old friends when reading Wild Ride. And I loved finally seeing a grown-up Quinn find his happily ever after!
It certainly wasn’t easy. Quinn’s life now is vastly different from when we first met him in Hot Rods, and damn, if Roman’s little brother isn’t all grown up! And his eyes are wide open to all the possibilities of love and relationships. But he’s still a bit of a loner—lonely actually though surrounded by family and friends. He’s missing a big piece of his life—two actually—two people who will make his heart whole.
And those two people are Trevon and Devra. But Trevon and Devra have their own issues—in and out of the bedroom. But if anyone can help them, it’s Quinn. And once they open their hearts and their relationship to him, there’s nothing holding Quinn back.
I loved watching the love between Quinn and Trevon and Devra develop. They all have their hang-ups from their pasts—but they’re so amazing together. I couldn’t read Wild Ride fast enough to ensure these three found a way to make things work. And I loved every second! Now I cannot wait for Wren and Jordan’s story next! ~ Missy, 5 stars

This is a great book that I couldn’t put down. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and follow along on their journey. There is a fine balance of sweet and sexy, raw emotion, and fun. A great book with a tease of what to look forward to. I can’t wait!

I enjoyed this first entry in the custom motorcycle stories spin-off from Hot Wheels series. It was good, not creepy, to see a grown up Quinn. He has good chemistry with Trevon and Devra.

Jayne Rylon has not written a book I do not like. Regardless of the hero and heroine, their particular likes and dislikes, or even their flaws they are always human. Easy to identify with. And quite honestly I am a bit jealous of fictional characters because I don't have what they have been able to find.
We met Quinn a long time ago and it is both hard to see him as an adult and wonderful to see who he has become after knowing where he started and seeing glimpses over the years. I love him now. I love seeing him responsible and still working towards overcoming his past but allowing his family to support him. I was kind of afraid the time between the last Hot Rods story and the first Hot Rides story would be hard to over come. But I have to say the wait has been worth it. I think this is Jayne's best book yet. Quinn, Trevon, and Devra are perfect for each other. Each broken by circumstances and afraid to ask for what they need. They come together to fill all the broken spaces. Becoming a whole unit. This is one of those books I will read over and over again.
I absolutely loved seeing the cameos from the Hot Rods and the Power Tools. I love having these little insights into their lives. And personally, I can't wait for Jordan and Wren. I am betting that will be another hot ride. Jayne doesn't do anything else.

An emotional and super-hot story.
Wild Ride is the first book in Jayne Rylon's new Hot Rides series. It reads as a standalone story but is connected to her Powertools and Hot Rods series. I've read all of the Powertools books but I'm sorry to say that I haven't yet read the Hot Rods series. I didn't feel lost at all while reading Wild Ride but now I'm eager to go back and read the Hot Rods books. 😊
The three main characters in the story, Quinn, Trevon and Devra have all faced hard times but Quinn has a great support system in place with his brother and all of the Hot Rods and Powertools gang. When he sees Trevon broken down on the side of the road he stops to help. He didn't expect the instant attraction he felt. Quinn is disappointed when he learns that Trevon is married to a woman as beautiful as he is. But then he find out Trevon and Devra's situation and he knows he needs to fight his attraction so he can help them and in turn atone for some of his past misdeeds.
Parts of this book were really emotional for me. The background of all three characters is pretty hard to take but then there is the sexy time between Quinn, Trevon and Devra which helps balance out some of the darkness. There is a lot of sexual tension between the three of them; this isn't a book where all of them jump into bed right away. There's a great story being told along with all of the hot as fire sexy stuff.
Jayne Rylon writes the best MMF ménage stories and Wild Ride is really hot! Quin, Trevon and Devra get their HEA but Jayne also manages to whet our appetites with a glimpse of where the next book is going and I can hardly wait for it to be ready to read. 😊

I have read the Powertools & Hot Rods series and loved both!! This start to the next group was AMAZING! For everyone who has read the Hot Rods series you will remember the 15 year old boy that Roman rescued, but wow has he grown up. It is great to see what a good man he has grown into with the influence of the Hot Rods crew. That is not the only influence they had on him either…. He realizes he needs a man and a women to be happy but doesn’t think he will ever find the ones for him.
While Quinn is out for a ride, he comes across Trevon whose bike broke down on the side of the road and is instantly attracted to him. Quinn offers to tow it back to the shop and fix it for Trevon. When they go to drop Trevon off at work his boss fires him for being late again. Trevon goes back to the shop with Quinn and starts to fix his bike with old junk parts that are laying around the shop. Once Quinn sees how good he is with fixing his bike he offers Trevon a job. He thinks Trevon might be attracted to him as well and is stunned when Trevon says he needs to discuss it with his wife. Upon meeting Trevon’s wife Devra he realizes he is attracted to both. After a few instances of miscommunication, they all share a hot and sexy night together. One time leads to a few more times but is this something they all want to last long term? When an outside situation makes them really look at what is happening between them will they stay together or will someone end up walking away? Wild Ride is the first book in the Hot Rides series from author Jayne Rylon. This blazing hot story is set within the Powertools and Hot Rods world, but it can be read as a standalone romance. Some of the characters do appear within Wild Ride, but not in a way that is confusing to those that haven’t read their stories. I do recommend that you read their novels as it will give you a better foundation, just know that it’s optional.
Wild Ride tells the story of Quinn, Trevon, and Devra. For those that have read the Hot Rods series, Quinn is Ramon’s younger brother. I have been looking forward to reading Quinn’s story ever since we were first introduced to him. Quinn had a tough childhood, and his brother and the Hot Rods have been very loving and supportive.
Quinn is now twenty-two-years-old and the manager of Hot Rides, Hot Rod's sister store. While Quinn was taking a break from work one day, he spotted a gorgeous man on the side of the road. The man, Trevon, was on his way to work, but his bike broke down. Quinn helped him out and soon gave Trevan a job after seeing the work he did on his vintage Indian motorcycle. The chemistry between Trevon and Quinn was pretty hot, but Quinn soon finds out that Trevon is married. When Quinn meets Devra, Trevon’s wife, sparks fly and boy was it hot!
I just loved this story, and I had a hard time putting it down. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, Slow Ride, coming this summer 2019!

Wild Ride is the first book in the Hot Rides series from author Jayne Rylon. This blazing hot story is set within the Powertools and Hot Rods world, but it can be read as a standalone romance. Some of the characters do appear within Wild Ride, but not in a way that is confusing to those that haven’t read their stories. I do recommend that you read their novels as it will give you a better foundation, just know that it’s optional.
Wild Ride tells the story of Quinn, Trevon, and Devra. For those that have read the Hot Rods series, Quinn is Ramon’s younger brother. Jayne Rylon’s ‘Wild Ride’ was exactly that, a rollercoaster ride of an emotional story that had me rooting all along as obstacles in all shapes and sizes got thrown in the way of three humans that deserved all the love in the world that they could provide one another with.
After a bit of a slow start, the tension, the camaraderie, the love, the frustration, the friendship, the hope, and so much more that blossomed and developed between Quinn, Trevon, and Devra was magical to witness. Each damaged with their own past issues, each just wanting to belong, to be loved for who they are. Quinn trying to provide what he thinks that Trevon and Devra need, the two of them unsure how to actually ask for what they want. The power dynamics were phenomenal throughout the story, and as each person gave and took, it just worked. The importance of communication isn’t lost in this story, and the potential when honesty truly was the best policy…well…you’ll have to read this awesome book to find out more!

You won’t regret reading this, or any of her other books!

I think I'd totally be into all of them, too. Two hot, ripped, well-endowed guys and a beautiful, exotic woman in a variety of configurations. This is the sort of book you swipe quickly with one hand on your Kindle, and the other massaging your tight, aching muscles. Ahem.
Add in super-open about their sex lives characters from another series, now on my to-read list, tragic backstory, strong emotion, and a somewhat implausible ending that I'll let slide because hot seXXX. Which, to be realistic, is why we download books with distracting covers like this. Quite the wild ride indeed.

This new series proves Jayne Rylon is still the sexilicious Ménage Master. Wild Ride is the first book in the new Hot Rides series. It can be read as a standalone, though we will see some of the Hot Rods and Powertools Crews in this book.
Quinn, who we met in Hot Rods when he was 15, is all grown up. He is working beside Gavin in a garage for specialty motorcycles. One day, while Quinn is on his bike during a break, he runs into Trevon whose bike broke down outside of town on his way to work. Quinn helps get him a tow to town and to his job to see this super sexy and hot man get fired for being late. They take his motorcycle back to the Hot Rides shop and Trevon uses the space and tools to repair it like a pro. Soon, they are offering Trevon a job as a mechanic. He and Devra, Trevon's wife, move in to the smaller cottage on the Hot Rides property. They become fast friends and then they become so much more. Sexy heat the sheets (and other surfaces) scenes through the storyline are panty melting and heart warming. This series looks to be another favorite. I can't wait for Slow Ride.

I have been waiting for Quinn’s story and let me say Ms. Rylon did not disappoint in anyway. Quinn’s past was not a pleasant one however he was able to find a family made by bonds not blood. For those that have read the Hot Rod series, Wild Ride is a treat to see the progress Quinn has man. Now a man and responsible, love seems to be the only thing missing from his life.Trevon and Devra has an interesting and so heartwarming. Married for reasons of safety and security, expressing their wants and desires and love is not something easy for them. This may make you bat an eye but read the story you will completely understand. So much love and passion to be shared, only if their were a friend to help or push.Wild Ride is only of my top three books from Jayne Rylon. Three people with hard pasts find the strength from each other and within themselves to raise above. To open themselves to their desires. Quinn, Devra and Trevon relationship develops organically and is deeper than even themselves couldn’t imagined. Wild Ride is sensual and emotional, fun and sexy. A fast and enjoye read that gave this reader just what I look for.

Now this is what I call a scorching hot book. When Quinn finds Trevon stranded with his motorcycle at the side of the road he is instantly drawn to him. There is just one problem...Trevon is married to Devra. Trevon and Devra are in a tight situation. They have no place to go and Trevon just lost his job. When Quinn offers him a job in his shop as a mechanic and a small house to stay at with his wife Devra Trevon is more than thankful. Trevon has a secret though. He is just as attracted to Quinn but does not want to hurt his wife. At one point he finally has to come clean with his wife and is surprised that she also has a strong attraction to Quinn. After much back and forth they agree to have a casual encounter but it quickly turns into something more for all three of them. Trevon, Devra and Quinn are all damaged souls looking to belong and maybe this is just the way to finally find happiness.
I just loved this book and literally devoured it. I was hooked from the first page on and finished it within a day. This was also my first read by Jayne Rylon and it won't be my last. This is a series I will continue reading for sure. A must read!

Quinn made me have all the feelings for him. He had grown up, but those same fears he had as a child, as a teen, are still there. He is part of something, but still to the side, not in the inner circle. He wants his own place so badly, you can feel his need rolling off the pages. Just when he thinks he has something, he is thwarted, and again, and again, and again. He just seems like he can’t win, so he takes what he can, and hopes everyone he cares for is happy.
Luckily, eventually, Devra and Trevon, see what Quinn is doing, call him on it. Of course, those two need to work out their own problems first, and Quinn plays the part in making that happen. When they all finally seem to have all they ever wanted, the shoe drops. Things that are well out of their control threaten them, and in no way, can anyone fix this. As it seems all is lost, a hero pulls through for them, and they finally get what has been evading them all, seemingly, all their lives
Hot and sexy, emotional and touching, this book got better and better the more I read it, and I didn’t want it to end!
Luckily, eventually, Devra and Trevon, see what Quinn is doing, call him on it. Of course, those two need to work out their own problems first, and Quinn plays the part in making that happen. Wild Ride is the first book of the Powertools: Hot Rides series. I enjoyed it a lot. The Powertools gang are family by choice and although they long ago opened their arms and hearts to teenage Quinn after his brother Roman rescued him from his abusive mother, he feels like he still hasn't found his place. Then he meets Trevon and Devra, a down on their luck couple with a less than perfect marriage. Kindhearted Quinn helps them out with a job and a home, fighting his powerful attraction to both; and when he discovers his feelings are reciprocated, he offers to help them resolve their marital issues, even though it could mean getting his own heart broken in the process.
The story drew me in right away. The writing is great and the characters are sympathetic and very likable. Yes, the steamy scenes are sinfully hot but mainly this book is a really great romance about three deserving people who belong together. 4.5 stars.

This is Book 1 in the Powertools: Hot Rides series. I do want to warn you right up front that this is a Ménage book and it has some awesome hot monkey sex happening between the pages. Now don’t say that you weren’t warned! We meet Quinn in the Hot Rods series when he was younger. Now he’s all grown up and working for Gavin the Hot Rides garage, working on motorcycles. He meets Trevon and the chemistry is hot, but he holds back. Then he meets Trevon’s wife, Devra. Trevon and Devra have gotten married to keep Devra safe here in the US. They both want more between each other but are scared to go further. Now is when Quinn decides that he’s going to help. There’s so much emotional stuff going on between the three of them that it almost makes your heart break. There’s a little bit of exciting drama, too. This is such a good book. Jayne Rylon has accomplished another great book in her hot series. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with in the next book.

I have said before and I will say again - I wish we didn't have to label love as "bi-sexual" or "gay" or "sexually fluid". How about love is love is love is love - and sex... well let's just say that the sex in this story is so hot, I would NOT recommend reading it on an airplane unless you really like your seatmate.
Wild Ride is a spin off from the "HOT RODS" family and what a great introduction to this new series.
As with other stories by this author, there is a lot going on in this complex tale. It's a classic romance with lots of other twists thrown in. The characters are well developed and it's cool to watch them grow as the story progresses. This story explores family of origin vs family of choice and it explores reasons why we do things. Would I want to see these three communicate better from the very beginning - sure, but then what kind of story would we have?
This was an enjoyable reach which I absolutely recommend.

I'm a reader that has not read all of the Hot Rods stories, I have listened to the Powertools in audio (great narrator by the way!). I just wanted to mention that because not once did I feel lost with the characters. So don't be afraid to try Wild Ride without having read the other related series.
Quinn is such a great character, he knows he's made mistakes and is trying to atone for them. He wants to fall in love and be loved, just like the other guys in the shop. In comes Trevon and Devra, what a diverse couple. They have had their ups and downs as well. I think their backgrounds bring them together in a way. Wowsers, hot steam scenes with this triad.
I totally enjoyed catching up with the characters, it's always great to see what is going on currently with the Hot Rods and the Powertools couples. As always Jayne brings characters that grab at you, make you feel for them and make you turn on your fan on high.

Once again, a great story from Jayne Rylon! The perfect balance of sweet, sexy and a little suspense all rolled into one. Awesome characters, both old and new that a reader can fall in love with for the first time, or all over again.
So happy that Quinn has finally found a safe place to grow and now is able to pay it forward to a couple struggling to make it out on their own together! With the love and support of the Powertools and Hot Rods crew Quinn finds a place where he can be happy and love freely.
Great first book to a new series! Very hard to put down once I began to read. Where we can watch another crew come together and then find their place in life. With the support of those that came before them. Loved the updates on the characters from the series before. Beloved characters that are growing together and remaining strong.

Nearly losing Devra allows them all to admit that they want to be together as a family and that they love Quinn just as much as they love each other.
A rather touching story. The characters are relatable and likable. We also get to see some of our favorite Powertools and Hot Rod Characters.

Quinn is struggling with his life choices and trying to keep his mind on the garage business and fighting the boredom making him itch. He takes a break and a ride on his bike to burn off his excess energy. Trevon's 1938 Indian is down—again—and in need of replacement parts. Quinn takes one look at Trevon and wants the sexy man in his life; he offers to help Trevon repair the Indian. Before Trevon has even made up his mind, Quinn has called Hot Rods and has the Indian on the flatbed and on the way to Hot Rides. Trevon does the most pressing repair out of discarded parts and Quinn offers him a job at Hot Rides before Trevon explains he is married and introduces Quinn to Derva. Jayne Rylon does it again!! This is a fantastic book. I really suggest reading the Powertools and Hot Rods books first but it is not actually needed to fully enjoy this book. Hot Rides, first book in the new series that mixes it up so you enjoy new character and see the old character that you know and love. Quinn still feels like a third wheel everywhere he goes to hang out. He knows what he wants but never thought it would be possible for him. That is until he meets Trevon and Devra. They come with a lot of baggage and need help. Quinn gives Devron a job and both a place to live, but what to do with the feelings he has for both of them with out destroying everything? I loved this book, the writting is great and the sexy times just make you melt. Quinn is afraid to put it all on the line, but life has a way of helping out. I can not wait for the next book in the series.
