OMG -I thought the first two books in the series were fabulous - but this the last in the series was even better. Sebastian faces so many inner demons and finally realizes that his love for Abbi is the best decision he has ever made, but can all of the questions be answered? Can the man who was married to his job actually change priorities? With so many twists and turns and dialogue that will make you break down and cry this was another masterpiece from Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. This will be a series i will re-read again and again.

Shark's Rise! This series just gets better and better with each book I read.
It starts out with, Shark's Edge, where Sebastian Shark and Abbigail Gibson meet. Their chemistry is as hot as molten lava.
In Shark's Pride, the connection between Bas and Abbi continues to grow, and so did, Sebastian's need to dominate, Abbigail, throughout. Bas was making demands on Abbi, that she wasn't willing to bend too. Until, Sebastian made her bend. The end of Shark's Pride concluded with, Abbi being forcefully removed from Shark Enterprise. Of course, in his mind, it was all in her best interest.
Shark's Rise, picks up with Abbi having been taken to a "safe house," to ensure that whoever was trying to take Bas down, wouldn't take her from him. But was he doing the right thing? Keeping, Abbi locked away like a prisoner, was taking a toll on her. They receive some news, that neither expected. Things changed with this news. But did it change how things worked?
This book had tears free-falling from my eyes. I love the love that Bas and Abbi share.
Read, Shark's Rise to learn what, Sebastian's overbearing actions did, and why things changed between them.
You'll need to start this series with, Shark's Edge, then Shark's Pride and on to Shark's Rise for the conclusion.

Sharks's Rise is the ending conclusion of Sebastian and Abigail's romance. I had a very high hope, because I like the first and second books. Shark's Rise is a little disappointment for me. Majority of the story in Shark's Rise focusing on hormone. And a lot of OTT drama over nothing.
I was expecting so much more from Sebastian's character. Being controlling hero but he is a softie at heart. Miss Payne and Miss Blue did not show this side of Sebastian that much. And that pregnancy really a major turn off. It seems Abigail has been using all of her childish excuses of being hormonal to scream, throwing tantrum over everything.
The sex is hot. Sebastian is still that hot dirty talker in bed. I am happy this does not change. Overall I rate this book 3 stars

Shark’s Rise
This book begins with Abbi being hidden away from the dangers that have presented themselves due to Sebastian’s enemy’s. With recent attacks and women coming up dead in various places, Sebastian sends Abbi away to protect her, but at what cost to Abbi’s health? This book brings out all of the feels for this couple and if it’s possible for you to become invested in someone’s fictional life, I totally have with theirs! The mystery behind all the killings still is not solved either and seems to be the underlying threat looming over all their lives. Gah!! This book and really the whole series so far has been phenomenal and I really don’t know what more I can say because I don’t want to give the whole story away!!! You’ve just gotta read it!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shark’s Rise is book 3 of the Shark’s Edge series and the conclusion of Bas and Abbigail’s story, though this is not the end of the series. I seriously can’t wait for the next one!
This was truly a romance suspense story and it had answered many questions while at the same, has me asking even more questions. Bass thought he did the right thing by forcing Abbigail away to a safe place while he deals with the threats coming towards the two and his empire. A revelation makes this even more stressful as Abbigail’s health starts to decline. She can’t stay away hidden long and it’s taking a toll on her. The couple is put to the test and wow, is there a lot that happens.
These two lovers really complete each other and Bass lets down his walls, showing that he truly loves Abbigail.
The only thing that did get me a little was the revelation. While it is a happy moment, I feel that for one, it’s too soon, and it’s something I feel shouldn’t be used as way to make the relationship real or grounded or however you want to say it. I felt it doesn’t need it to make it a happily ever after and it was done with another series.
Other than that, this was a great read and I am so ready for Grant!

Sebastian fucking Shark!!
I don’t even know where I should start or even what I should tell you …
there is so much to this story so pay attention when you read it!
What an incredible ride of twist and turns and wait, what? moments all tangled up in mystery and suspense and darkness and oh my heart #feels !! When I started this journey, I was skeptical about the amount of things happening and unraveling in this story because I really wanted Sebastian and Abbigail to be the forefront of the journey and not the mystery cloak surrounding Sebastian. But these ladies did an amazing job with every single aspect of this story! There are two stories going on in this trilogy, but they are intertwined. One cannot happen without the other, but they are both distinct. We have Sebastian and Abbigail navigating the precarious journey of love and happily ever after and we have …. the other. I’m calling it the other because really, that’s all I can tell you in any kind of detail because going into this blind is the only way to go. #TRUST
From the beginning with Shark’s Edge, these ladies did an exceptional job of growing not only the plot but also Sebastian and Abbigail, as individuals and as a team. These ladies are impressive with their word wizardry << say that ten times and see how it works out for ya LOL but seriously, they have impressed me time and time again with their stories. Their voices work flawlessly together, and they are seamless. I am giddy with excitement to read more because while many questions were answered by book’s end, this story is far from over, because as I mentioned earlier, there are two storylines happening and one of them is bleeding right into Grant Twonbley’s journey. Shark Enterprises still has villains to slay and I cannot wait to see what these ladies have in store for us next!
If you like your stories passionate, unpredictable, unique and extremely captivating then you’re in the right place. This story is all those things and a bag of chips #TRUST

UNPUTDOWNABLE ... simply addictive
What can I say?
WOW!!!! I'm Gobsmacked!!!! I'm Speechless!!!!
The ending of Shark's Pride left me angry ... no, it left me fuming, even though I could fully understand why Sebastian did what he did. For Bas, Abbi's safety was his priority, even if the way he went about it was completely underhanded. Abbi os totally distraught and unimpressed with Bas's decision, but soon comes to realise why he chose to take that particulr route of action.
A lot happens in SHARK'S RISE, emotionally I was a mess, the suspense continues, as does all the drama from books one and two. Abbi and Bas are simply superb, their characters continue to grow from strength to strength, they are constantly questioning their own emotions, their priorities are changing and their relationship becomes even stronger than they both thought it could be.
Bas may be controlling, stubborn and extremely alpha, but beneath it all is a man who loves his woman with everything that he can give. This is a man I simply adored, loved and would be more than happy to have one just like him in my life. His vulnerability really shows through in this book, as Abbi is able to bring him to his knees in more ways than one. Abbi, once again, is simply superb. She's willing to continue fighting for Bas's love and for what she wants ... no matter what Bas says. She may be extremely independent, but she is also a woman who is wildly in love with her man, and is willing to compromise to see his sexy smile.
Angel and Victoria continue to build on the passion, love, suspense and mystery that they have already brought to this story. They have simply made it UNPUTDOWNABLE. The hunt is still on to find just who is responsible for everything that is happening, the clues are slowly beginning to add up. Just when I think I know where the story is headed, another twist/turn is thrown in to make me rethink everything yet again.
This is the final book in Bas and Abbi's storyline ... but thankfully there is more to come. Questions still need answering and the mystery needs to be solved. I loved the way in which this storyline ended, but I'm dying to read more. Hopefully it's going to be Grant ... because his story is going to be AMAZING!!!!
SHARK'S EDGE, the series, NEEDS to to read, it is one of the OUTSTANDING READS for 2019, and I can't wait for more!!!!

Both the physical ones he has erected and the emotional ones are slowly collapsing, and she begins to realize who her man is- someone who needs to be loved, and sometimes taught how to love. But just as she begins to teach him that, she's whisked away by Elijah into hiding- all at Sebastian's request to keep her safe from whoever is after them.
No. "Whisked" isn't the right word.
"Torn." Yes. "Torn" is a much better choice...because that's what has happened to her heart the longer she's away from Sebastian.

More dominating, possesive and controlling alpha deliciousness from Sebastian Shark. More sass, smartness, sweetness and all encompassing love from Abbi. More sparkling, sizzling and swoonworthy chemistry in background of suspense. Shark's Rise by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue ends a great series with a bang.
The life-threatening danger is still looming over Sebastian and Abbi's life. And Abbi was sent to a safe place on Sebastian's order. But it put a major stress on their relationship as Abbi is no kept woman. The loneliness, the isolation, the uncertainty and above all the pain of staying away from Bas is killing Abbi. Will they come back together stronger? Will the new development in their life make Bas finally realize that he needs to change for love?
The more I read about Bas, the more I feel we all should have a man like him. He is infuriating, stubborn and wants to control everything. But his love, devotion and loyalty to Abbi is unquestionable. The authors beautifully brought out the depth and intensity of his feelings. I love his arrogant and bossy side. I love his vulnerable and enamoured side even more. And it takes a special woman like Abbi to bring a special man to knees. She is amazing. She is soft and loving. At the same time she is ready to fight for herself and their love. This story has lots of heartbreak and misunderstandings. But it all worked out perfectly. The only thing I missed in this instalment is the lack of solid suspense. The threats on Bas were not neutralized. And we still do not know who is trying to bring him down. The pieces are there. I hope we will get answers in next books.
The chemistry between Bas and Abbi is the asset of Shark's Rise by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. This was something unforgettable, mesmerizing and spellbinding. A great series with exceptional writing.

The turmoil they have been through and the hurdles they have to overcome are becoming a strain on their relationship. Sequestered with someone she barely tolerates and away from the one she loves, Abbigail's health begins to wear down.
Sebastian is going out of his mind without her but knows he is protecting her. But everything changes in a blink!
A new threat and a new revelation put a whole new spin on things. Security could not be tighter and the battle of wills between our couple gets a major test.

Shark's Rise is a rollercoaster ride full of mystery, danger, and surprises. Book 3 did not disappoint because it solidified Sebastian and Abigail's relationship.
In Shark's Rise, the danger in Sebastian's is still present so he has to make a decision that is best for himself and Abigail. He makes the decision to hide her and keep her safe. Although he did it with the best of intentions, this puts a strain on their relationship. Abigail is spending most of her days missing her man and she is tired of it.
They also have to deal with Abigail's health. Everyone notices that she is struggling and isn't herself.
They both have to decide if the danger is worth the time spent apart.
I give Shark's Rise 5 stars. It's intense and desperate. Sebastian and Abigail's relationship is tested but they never lose their love for each other. Angel Payne and Victoria Blue wrote another great story in this series.

As if the suspense couldn't get any better, Rise picks up where Pride left off. Abbi has been sent away for her own safety and for Bas's sanity. This doesn't bode well for Abbi's well-being. She becomes highly depressed, agonizingly thin, and a brat at times, especially to her security guard, Eli.
Bas is still the alpha male billionaire we've come to know, love, and let's face it, swoon over. We start to see a softer side to Bas in this book. He finally realizes that he is madly in love with Abbi. Their blossoming romance is tested once again when they receive some life changing news. Will this shatter everything they've overcome and split them up or will this bring them even closer together? Possible wedding bells in their future? Hmmmmm....my lips are sealed or rather, my fingers are tied :)
Just when you think you have it figured out who is trying to sabotage Bas & The Edge, nope. Nada. No bueno. Guess my detective job should be put on the back burner. I digress.....
There is not a cliffhanger in this book but the ending left me with unanswered questions. Hopefully my theories will be answered in Grant's Heat (book 4 in the Shark's Edge series). If not, maybe Angel Payne and Victoria Blue will do a "where are they now" follow up to Abbi & Bas's story.

Sebastian Shark has sent Abbigail to a safe house. With all the trouble surrounding him and the attacks against him he wants to try to keep her safe.
Abbigail is sent to a remote location and since arriving has not felt well. She is unable to eat, starts to lose weight, and has lost all patience with the guy put in place to protect her. He’s a dominant force and is relentlessly pushing her.
So when he tries to explain what is going on with her, she pushes back until she realizes what he said could probably be true. She finds out that she is pregnant. And she must tell Sebastian.
However, her pregnancy is not easy. But, she refuses to be away from Sebastian any longer. She demands that he take her home.
He takes her home with more security in place. Now with even more problems with The Edge underway, and another body showing up on Sebastian’s property, he’s now got more to worry about.
Especially when Abby ends up in the hospital with pushing herself to help out at her catering company.

Untested Waters....
Protecting Abbigail was Sebastian's top mission. Abbigail was not on board with the extensive measures that Sebastian put into effect to make that happen. Abbigail was not a woman that could sit still and behave. The seclusion from her friends and family took a toll on her emotionally and also physically. Being away from Sebastian left her feeling empty and alone with her thoughts. Not a good thing.
New developments enter into their lives that make everything more complicated than they already were. Sebastian is at a cross roads of feeling emotions he has never felt before. He knows he needs to step up and make changes in himself in order to keep the most precious treasure of all, his Abbigail. This story had my own emotions on the edge hoping that the two of them could work this out so they could finally be at ease with each other after the tumultuous journey they had in getting there.

You guys. I cannot even. These two ladies need some kind of award because hot diggity dog this is a MUST READ. I know I have read several by Angel Payne, and she has never ever let me down. But Victoria Blue is new to me outside of Misadventures. The way they weaved this tale together, the mystery, the questions, the loyalty, the love... gah!
Book three left me feeling hungover in the best way. It also arose even more questions that I cannot wait to see answered in the next books. The heat was intense at a category five. The chemistry is, as always off the charts.
I cannot gush enough about this book series and how wonderful it is. Honestly I can't. And I can't write much more without spoiling it.
Sebastian has to make a serious choice in this one... and it saw him growing even more than in the last one. And I'll tell you what, I love that man even more now.

Wow! Talk about ending the story with a bang. Angel Payne and Victoria Blue did an amazing of showing the intensity of Bas. Bas is a controlling alpha male who is fighting his own demons while trying to figure out his feelings for Abbi. Bas is so intense, stubborn but very much in love. Abbi is a fighter and determined to love Bas. Abbi is the perfect complement for Bas. All this happens while the suspense unfolds. The relationship between Bas & Abbi is so intense, sizzling & just straight out swoonworthy. What woman wouldn't like to be loved with such intensity.

This whole series was absolutely amazing!! Once I started on book one Shark's Edge I couldn't put them down!! They had your attention and kept you wanting to know what was going to happen next!! Sebastian and Abbigail were put though a lot!! They held strong and worked together!! You were with on a emotional journey of feels!! They broke each other's walls down and deserved the happiness they found!! I highly recommend this book/series! These two amazing authors won't let you down!!

I freaking love this series , it's amazing. Just when you think this series can't get any better it does here. This book is full of surprises. Living the cliffhangers . I'm so hooked on this series. I want more of Sebastian & Abigail , can't get enough of them two. Can't wAit to see what's happens next so book 4 come on to momma lol. This is truly a must read series. Shark's Rise! I thought the first two books, Shark’s Edge and Shark’s Pride were awesome but this the third book, Shark’s Rise was even better. Absolutely loved Abbi and Sebastian love story. As each book evolves around these two, these books have a little bit of everything suspense, romance, and angst.
These two amazing authors, Angel Payne and Victoria Blue you have done it again and hit it out of the ball park!!! I highly recommend this series! I definitely loved it! 🧡🖤🦈🧡🖤

Ugh the twist an turns in this book!! I was for sure that the secretary had more to do it with. An then bam. Never would have thought it was going in the direction it did. But can she really tame Sebastian? Are they really ready for what is going to happen next? I need answers lol. This is a page Turner an the suspense is on point!! This series is a must read!

Book 3 in this series for me is just as perplexing as the others as in how the characters react to situations that they are in, such as people dying or putting yourself into obvious stupid situations, and the way the story line stops right at that pivital point leaving a reader looking where the next part is or thinking why did they sweep that under the carpet? See I told you the way these books are written are very perplexing. The chemistry between the characters is strange, and Abigail is just an annoying tantrum throwing brat, but the sex is hot lol. In saying this I am going to continue on with the series and see if I can find the answers that I seek.

Sebastian and Abbigail's story continues in this book where the Sebastian is trying to protect the Abbigail from the threat and he sends her away from himself So, that they can capture that person who is just threatening them. But as time passes this thing was not acceptable by Abbigail. she was losing her mind due to staying alone and she was tired and got Unwell.
Later did she know that she was carrying the future of Sharks. She was pregnant and she was suffering a lot from it. Sebastian was Happy but the Tension has Increased in terms of safety and he can't let anyone hurt Abbigail at all now.
So, How will Abbigail cope up with this kinda behaviour from Sebastian as when she knows She's having the baby with the same man.
