Goetic Justice Indeed!

Another fantastic work written by Snek Guy! The story is fantastic and relatable, the characters are so well developed, and again the spicy bits are top tier. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone that may be even a little into the occult!

Good and pulpy, though nothing too innovative or interesting. But good for what it is. Which is erotica.

I...struggle to describe this book. I guess I'll have to go with this: It's an extremely well written story, but not quite the story I was hoping for. I didn't love it, but it's probably worth giving it a shot if anything about it sounds intriguing.

Specifically, this is a story about a guy summoning a demon to try and turn his life around, and ending up finding love. That's super cliche, and a bit silly, but what sets this book apart is an oddly gritty approach to magic. It's not like...oh just "oh, turns out you're secretly a dragon", or "just chant some words you found in this old book" or "just use the magic wand your grandmother passed down to you" or "you just woke up inside a computer game" or whatever (not that those are bad ideas neccessarilly, and I've read and enjoyed plenty of books that used them).

Instead, this is written like magic is actually...real? Like I said, hard to describe, but I appreciated the novelty. Even if the overal story just didn't quite thrill me.

This is the easiest five star I've ever given. There was a light but genuine story going on which alone makes it better than most kiddy pool narratives in the men's fantasy genre. But the romance between the characters is so good and not even the steamiest of mainstream, female-focused erotica can stand up to what Snek Guy writes, and from what I hear, his sex scenes are this good in all of his works. I'll admit, his approach of only having two sex scenes in the entire book but making them EXTREMELY long is unorthodox and put me off at first, but by the end I was all for it.

This is far and away the best I've read as far as male audience focused fantasy/erotica. The fact that Snek Guy isn't much more popular is a travesty. I exclusively listen to books (just cant focus when reading) and only this and the first of his Pinwheel series are available in audio and it is killing me.

It's hard to explain, but it was an erotica that was actually good. If you like erotica you resign yourself to expecting a premise only with no build and all sex. But his approach to the occult was well thought out, the characters were loveable, you felt their passion both sexually and emotionally.

Its just a great book from an amazing author who I believe is the standard to which all others attempting to write mens erotica should be compared. The fact that Snek Guy isn't big enough to be making audiobooks for all of his novels is a real shame. Myself and fellow audio enjoyers are worse off for it.
