Mom had to stop reading aloud due to laryngitis. Dad finished reading the book for us and liked it as much as we did.

1780, Fairfield, CT. Hannah and her family are forced to endure hardship since British soldiers burned down their house and town. And then worse news, Ben has been taken prisoner! Hannah and her family work to stay hopeful.
conclusion of trilogy. This trilogy would appeal to readers who enjoy the American Girls series

When Liz read this, she rated it 5*. Catherine grew tired of this trilogy, so though she loved the first book, at the end of this one, her rating was only 3*. She said the books felt repetitive.
