I really enjoyed the read

Besides the grammar mistakes, this 2 book series was over all really good. I loved the concept of the story and some might disagree with me and that's okay cuz its called opinions. Irtania you kept me on my feet to read both books and yes the chapters were really short which was fine with me honestly LoL I just couldnt put either one down. I had to finish both and to get to the end result of the whole story was remarkable and I know its corny and all but I loved the ending. Your ability to imagine and put all that down on paper, you have an amazing talent. I would recommend to others to read and have there own opinions but keep and open mind and make sure u read both books before give your thoughts on it. 💜 I'll be looking out for more books from u!

Second half no better

Again has the potential to be such a good story but for the poor spelling and bad grammar has let this author down. All it needed was a decent proof reader! I mean how can anyone miss that Clarissa is being led away by two Red Moon warriors to be imprisoned in the dungeon only for 10 pages later her to have escaped from a different pack. Absolutely no co ordination in her own story and definitely not worth paying money for. I only read this part because I wanted to see how the story ended.

Enjoyed

I read the first book and was torn to shreds and to read the continuous trials. Selene had her hands busy.

I Tried

Well, the grammar did not get any better with this book. We did reach an ending of Adelina and Demitrey's relationship and I'm not thrilled. The abuse that Adeline endures throughout a better part of the first book is explained away by Demitreys upbringing, and that's just not enough for me. Throughout this book, we came across so many twists and turns, that the reasoning for them became repetitive, no one likes Adeline and she's somehow ruined everyone's lives. It isn't much else I can think of, the story really held my attention because of the storyline not being finished in the previous book, now I've gotten my answers and just meh of an ending.

Good story concept

I enjoyed reading about Adelina in the second book vs. the first because she was more secure in this one. My only problem with this were the transitions from point of views and grammatical errors throughout the whole mini series!

Captivating

I would have given this a higher rating but there needs to be a lot of editing. A few times, I found myself reading the sentence as written and then going back to read it how it was intended. The story was captivating. I will say that I had hoped for a different HEA for her. I felt that her mate was abusive with her. Yes, he was terrified but it doesn't explain why he struck her and threw her against a wall. Being the Luna, I understand Selene put obstacles in her way for her to overcome. I also understand that being a chosen Luna makes her a target, even if her enemies think it's for other reasons. They just can't help it. While I understand her mate changed, and never struck her again, I was hoping for a different ending. *Spoiler* I was hoping that he and Alina died in battle. Her mate would have known he was forgiven, she would have had what she wanted, but then when he died she would become leader as Luna and James her mate in the end. (Especially with Selene's "this would be interesting to see how it plays out) She would have have love from two strong mates. Alas, that is not what happened. Still I am satisfied with the end. However,if you go back through and edit (or have someone do it for you) this will probably do a lot better.

I’m giving it 3 Stars because it’s a good storyline. BUT, there’s no proper editing WHATSOEVER throughout this book. Cutting corners, maybe or just simply didn’t care to edit. 🤦🏼‍♀️ There’s a LOT of information missing and bits & pieces are mentioned here and there, then at the end it all comes out even if it’s from left field. SPOILER... Everything becomes a Happy Life, but nothing further is said about her bad father or alcoholic mom. I guess they are simply forgotten. This isn’t like the majority of shifter books were your wolf is an animal. These wolves talk to their hosts as if they too are human. I didn’t care for that for it’s just in left field again. Most shifter books have one true mate for life. Not here... you can have more. You have this strong power Alpha acting all wimpy and ridiculous for chapters upon chapters. Then you have this girl still trying to figure out her life continued from Book 1 because she simply can’t get it together. Then there’s the Moon Goddess. Am I reading the Wizard of Oz? That character is just... The Author had a good catch-your-attention story, she just went in every direction with it.

True Mates

Over all good read I went ahead and bought both books because the description caught my eye and made me want to read it...poor Adelina has another ruff ride in this book to complete her Luna tasks. Demetri he has little role in this book and I found it odd he didn't come after Adelina when she was captured or send someone at least but it all goes together to complete the ending...we all know that Alpha mates have more children than one and I would see Demetri wanting a son so I do wish she would have included they had many children or something similar.I reccomend these books if your a book buyer...I am not I like the free reads myself there just as interesting these were my first buys of books..grammar problems were not as bad as some have complained but if your going to buy books that shouldn't probably be an issue..good books love the characters the many different angles and the playfulness..I had lots of laughs it was finny sometimes scary if you were in Adelina's shoes and love to be earned ❤

This book was a little better than the 1st in the series but continues to have some major issues. I will not be reading any further books in this series.

I like that Adelina had a little bit more spunk in this book and wasn't such a beaten-down person. However, I still would have liked to have seen a lot more character growth within her and a lot more strength. She forgave Dimitri way too easily for me to find it a satisfying conclusion. I wish the author had spent some time speaking with survivors of abuse to understand the impact of their experiences on their lives moving forward. Issues of trust, security and more.

I believe the author could use a good editor to fix grammatical errors. It distracts from the writing. I have come to expect that from many authors on the Dreame app and I applaud anyone writing in a language not their own (I have tried and it is not easy) but it still distracts from the story and hurts the flow of the storytelling.

Well, I gave the book another chance and went for the sequel on another platform. I have adjusted to the author’s style..thoughts are continuously running through the characters’ minds, to the point that they are already overthinking. There are inconsistencies here and there but are forgiven, I think the author was still new at that time. Also, there were a few werewolf things that were a bit different from other werewolf books that I’ve read. I felt a negative vibe from the killings of friends, mates, siblings and parents. But the ending was still very good, a lot of questions were answered, walls were taken down and we got our happy ending.
* * I always look past editing and translation errors, if there’s any

Wow! The best book ever.

Wow. I couldn't stop reading. I was crying with Adeline and Edwing her brother who died protecting her from their father he was trying to rape her by been held for her sisters. Wow a horrible family they had. Adelina's journy was so intense and introspective that even the Moon Goddess tray to stop her on over thinking the things. Finally they get rid of Clarissa and Darell wow those characters were evil. I really love Celia, Kade, James and Aunty D. They are the most loyal friends and warriors the an Alpha and Luna can had. Thank you Artemis for this beautiful journey in Adelina's and Demitry's lifes.

I found the first book interesting until I reached the end. So I got the second one and it is giving me a headache. I am not even sure I want to finish it. I am nearly 60 and I have been an avid reader since I learned to read. And this book while being an interesting story keep throwing constant rebounds that are just too much. Remind me of those soap opera like top models and the likes.
Intrigue upon intrigue, it's nauseous.
I am not sure I am going to finish this.
Instead I think that I will wait for the next breed book, and read some John Grisham to wash out the bitter taste.

Worth the read, Kett my attention through both books.

Both his Mate and Mistress, and The Rise of Luna were intriguing and kept my attention and also made me keep going. A book that can cause me to wander into the storyline while at my work and personal life tells me that I liked it. A small and minor issue was the grammar and a few wrong placed words but honestly if you have trained mind it just skips over it and corrects it for you. I like that I could get a real image of the characters in my mind while reading.

I enjoyed this first book in Dreame app. Even though there were tons of grammar and spelling errors. I was able to get past by. Since the first book was left on a cliffhanger I wanted to really know how the story of this series would end. It was a lot of action, heartbreak, and sadness. The way the main character was treated by those she caredfor and those that were blood related family. It was kinda hard to to dislike the main character by her life experiences. And same for the main character male character. I enjoyed reading these 2 books. I am not sure about reading the 3rd one yet.

Gosh. I'm not sure where to start with this, if you enjoy shifter romances with their high spice, dominance and the constant on the go adventure and danger give Irtania Adrien's books a go. This series is one of my favorites. This author has a way with capturing the turbulence and pushing the sexual tension as far as she can before her characters come together in an intense way. There's no easy and simple way to the HEA within these pages but the ride is wild, fun and keeps you wondering as you read along and become immersed within the worlds of His Mate & His Mistress.

A book series that is a must-read, again and again

This is book 2. I have read it twice because it is that good. I like how there was personal growth in some of the characters. Forgiveness, betrayal, insecurities, and love. The drama unfolded in the most delightful way.
I have recommended this series to my family and friends who enjoy reading. Everyone has a different genre of reading. Personally, mine is all over the place. However, I will suggest this as a series to anyone who enjoys a great read.

A awesome story!

This was the most enjoyable ending to a fantastic journey! His Mate and His Mistress: Rise of a Luna was definitely a thrill ride that lived up to the expectations of the first book in this story. Characters that are gritty, intriguing and complex , a uniquely designed tale of passion, humor and drama. This unbelievably imaginative fantasy is sure to please everyone who loves adventure and fantastic journeys into another world.

Good Storyline

The storyline was a good one. Had all the baddies and goodies! For me it was little too angsty on Adalina's part. Now to the bad news, who ever edited the 2 books should be sent away without pay. I read both books and I have never seen so many spelling errors. It took away from read a good story.

Poor editing

The story was captivating but the editing was horrible. I explained to my daughter that it was like trying to read something a 10 year old had written. Who ever was to edit these books did a horrible job. But the story was very good and keep me wanting to finish reading. I read both books within 12 hours.

I hardly write reviews but I had to comment on this story. It had the potential to be great if the author and the editor did not ignore the great amount of grammatical errors that it was a frustrating read. There were so many grammatical errors and wrongly used words that it’s unbelievable that the book was published without proper editing.

Gripping

I loved this story, both books so different but linked in so well great reading and two books and it's complete makes a change from the endless series of books from some author's which sometimes leads to boredom, I loved how the story panned out and would recommend well done

Wonderful conclusion

Loved the strong female leading character. Great conclusion to His Mate and His Mistress. There were a few words that were either misspelled or not in the right context that messed up the flow of the story. But well written and really enjoyed the conclusion. Great job.

It Was Okay

Everyone hated Adelina but really didn't have a justified reason to hate her. That was one of my biggest hangups about this book. The book never did state how Darrell ended up being a part of Val's pack nor why Auntie D sent Darrell away. I'm glad that they all finally got their HEA.

Loved it!

I really love both books. Although, in this one Adelina is really all over the place. One moment she is strong and confident and the next she is self-doubting and afraid. I thought it would have been better to have either a steady rise in her confidence or balance then just so roller coaster through the book. I do like how we learned more of Demtrey’s back story.

His Mate and His Mistress: Ride of a Luna

A continuous story so truly AWESOME as the first story ( His Mate and His Mistress). From page one to the last page and period. I went from story one to the second story and didn't stop until I finished with the end. Thank you for your time in writing such a moving , emotional and fantastic story.

This was okay, grammar was an issue and the end plot wasn't as smooth as it could have been. Although he knew she was his mate and was trying to protect her, he was awful to her in private and even assaulted her. It didn't seem to fit with his motive. This book starts off great and then fizzed at the end.

Solid writing and continuation of the story. Book starts where the first left of and leads us further in the story to explore the backstory and development of lead and supporting characters. In some places the story reduces to providing information where I had the desire to have it more explored from the point of a character.
