Monty is at his wit's end with everything going in his band as he feels that they've all moved on with their lives & don't care if he's there or not, so he needs some time & space away which leads him to Vegas to blow off steam. Allana catches her boyfriend cheating on her, so her bestie's take her away to Vegas for a girl's weekend to try to get away from it all. When these two meet, the sparks are flying, and they decide to go out & have some fun. The next morning, their fun has turned into a media nightmare, and everyone blames Monty for it. However, he does the mature thing with the English teacher in mind, and they decide to get to know each other until the dust settles, which takes them on a crazy journey that neither expected. Luckily, those sparks are still flying, so sexy times are insanely HOT HOT HOT, and light the sheets on fire! But, there are so many bumps in the road, so the twists are CRAZY, f-bomb dropping worthy CRAZY! And frankly, it made me really feel for Monty, though he did have a reputation for chaos, he really was trying his best, and Allana is one hell of a class act. So the angst levels are definitely amped up at this point, along with the drama having to do with the cast of secondaries, who I stayed mad at for a long time. So yeah, Rebecca Brooke penned a fantastic story that went in some directions that I never saw coming, so one click this baby to see how it all pans out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A great story, I enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to all contemporary romance fans. Since I haven't read previous books in Jaded Ivory series I couldn't fully appreciate the drama between the band members. Other than that, it was a pretty good read. A little slow at times but overall, great. I loved both Allana and Monty. They were such a perfect couple. Once always anxious, looking for the next exciting thing and the other so calm and collected. Their personalities complemented each other and their love story was truly beautiful. I adored Monty who was caring and considerate towards Allana right from the beginning.
I think it's a very well-written book and I'd definitely recommend it to my fellow readers. It's equal parts sweet, romantic, and frustrating. I think each emotion is portrayed beautiful, you can feel Monty's irritation and Allana's hurt, surely a good book.
P.S. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

What? You haven't read this one yet?

Rockstar wakes up married in Vegas. Well I've read it before with other authors but it's still fun.

Nice characters. I don't think Monty would normally appeal but he really is a great guy.
It is what it is.

REVIEW: 4.25 stars--STRING ME is the fourth instalment in Rebecca Brooke’s contemporary, adult JADED IVORY erotic, rock romance series focusing on the members of the band Jaded Ivory. This is Jaded Ivory bassist Monty Vance, and high school English teacher Allana Kerr’s story line. STRING ME can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person points of view (Allana and Monty) STRING ME follows one night in Vegas wherein Jaded Ivory’s bassist Monty Vance wakes up to discover he has married high school English teacher Allana Kerr. Sick and tired of the band’s infighting, and what our hero perceives as a lack of interest in their musical careers, Monty Vance heads to Vegas for some R&R but a night of heavy drinking ends with two strangers waking up together and married. Enter Allana Kerr, whose most recent relationship ended when she discovered her boyfriend with someone else. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Allana and Monty, and the potential fall-out as someone is releasing information about the band, and all fingers point to our story line heroine.

Allana Kerr needed time away, so she and her two best friends Bri and Erin, headed to Vegas for a few nights of dancing and fun having never intended to find the one but a night of drinking lands Allana and Monty in a Vegas chapel, with a Elvis impersonator and marriage on their minds. When word of their marriage made news back home Monty would discover just how badly his band mates believed he screwed up.

The relationship between Allana and Monty is one of immediate attraction; a quickie Vegas wedding followed by the decision to stay together, a decision that works for our story line couple. The $ex scenes are are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to the member of Jaded Ivory: Cole and Mari (Rock Me #1), Heath and Jenna (Cover Me #2) , Sawyer and Reagan (Ride Me #3), as well as Monty’s roommate Jackson, his parents Debbie and Scott Vance; the band’s agent and publicist Tom; Allana’s friends Erin and Bri, Allana’s ex-boyfriend Brian, and her parents Glen and Carla Kerr.

STRING ME is a story of betrayal and lies; struggle and acceptance; misunderstanding, trust and love. The premise is delightful, heart breaking and entertaining; the characters are energetic and charismatic; the romance is spicy and hot. JADED IVORY is a wonderful look at friendship, battles and the road to success.

I really enjoyed this book!! This was my first Rebecca Brooke book but it absolutely will not be my last, and after finishing this book I am drawn to go back and read the first three books in this series in order to understand more of the characters in this book. Something I really enjoy though is that you can read this book as a stand-alone and understand without having to go back and read the previous books. Monty is feeling ousted by his band because they are moving on and changing their lives while he is content and prefers to live the same way they always had. He doesn’t cope with change well and decides to spend a week away to compose and gather himself and his thoughts in Vegas. Allana is in Vegas with her friends after finding her boyfriend cheating on her and decides to go out of character and let loose. When the two see each other, it’s instant attraction, and as the night progresses and the drinks flow, they make a big action that will change their lives. Once they realize what they’ve done, they agree to cope with their actions and get to know each other. This part might be my favorite within the book, because as they get to know each other, they also deal with bumps in the road from both Allana and Monty’s sides, but they go through them together all with a level of suspense added to it. Overall, thankfully this is a HEA that I wish didn’t end! The flow of the storyline was great and the book was overall enjoyable and made me a fan!

All I can say about String Me, is its flaming hot and I was sucked right in to the story of Monty Vance and Allana's story. I honestly could not put this book down, it was one of those books where one more chapter brings you to the end and you are completely lost when you come out of the story.

Rebecca Brooke totally blew my mind with String Me, the Characters really jumped right off the pages, their emotions were so real to where you go from loving some of the characters to hating a few of them. I was so engrossed with Monty and Allana that their relationship is something every girl would dream of. Rebecca Brooke is now a one click author for me.

Monty Vance is the bad boy band member who lives life to the fullest, and Damn the consequences until the consequences involve someone who is totally innocent in all of his antics. But can he become the golden boy and make a love of convince become more, or will he be forced to leave his dreams behind?

Allana has never been the reckless type, but one quick girls trip to Vegas will soon have her dull boring life flipped off its axis, she is not sure if she is coming or going, but all she knows it that one night of going from the good girl , to being bad soon will have more than she thinks she can handle. Will she come out the other side of the mess to find a love she was never expecting? Or will she be heartbroken all over again? You will just have to read String Me to find out!

I thought String me was a good story that drew me into the book being that this is part of a series I read it as a stand alone never read any of the Jaded Ivory books and I'm excited to read them . I would understand the character more than I do and why he is the way that he is . Monty and Allana were so good together they brought a positive to the others lives she calmed him while he taught her it's okay to be spontaneous . I am really looking forward to reading more books by Rebecca Brooke and the Jaded Ivory .

String Me is the 4th book in the Jaded Ivory series, but it can very easily be read as a standalone. But you should definitely go back and read the first books, as they are equally as good. This is the story of Monty, the bass player for Jaded Ivory and Allana, a high school English teacher. They meet in Vegas where she is there with her girlfriends to forget about her cheating ex and he is there to blow off some steam and get in trouble. Because that is what Monty does, LOL. Anyway, they meet, have a ton to drink, get married by Elvis and wake up the next morning with no memory of the night. they quickly learns what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there. While they navigate the new relationship and the complexities of Monty's fame, their relationship grows into something amazing!

The writing and the characters in this book were just exceptional and I love them all. The only negative I would say - is that I missed the rest of the band. I hoped they would have played a bigger role in Monty and Allana's relationship.

What a great story from Rebecca Brook. I haven't read the other books in the Jaded Ivory series but that didn't stop me from enjoying Monty and Allana's story, the author gave us enough background where their story called for it.

Monty is feeling like he's on the outside looking in where his bandmates, "his family" are concerned he feels their private lives are taking them away from their music responsibilities. After a band blow up he finds himself alone in Vegas where he meets Allana.
Allana is on a girls weekend after a break up and the last thing she expects is to meet a member of Jaded Ivory.

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but when you're in the pubic eye it's not that easy, Monty and Allana will have lots of bumps in the road to navigate if they want a HEA.

As I said this story can easily be read as a standalone but the other characters in this story have piqued my interest so I will be reading their stories in the future.

String Me
Monty was the bassist and song writer for Jaded Ivory, he was also known by his bandmates as the wild child of the group. His antics had gotten him into plenty of trouble with the band. The problem lately with the band was that Monty felt that they all had someone to run home to. None of them wanted to hang out and have fun with him. So he took off to Vegas, he was going to have fun and relax without them. Allana found her boyfriend cheating her with another teacher at work. Disgusted, hurt and upset her friends drag her off to Vegas for a weekend of fun. The events there rolls things in many unexpected directions but Monty never leaves Allana’s side and he even takes her side when things go wrong with the band. They fell in love from their very first meeting and they’re adorable together. I loved this story and I’m giving it five stars. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read about Jackson.

String Me by Rebecca Brooke is book four in her Jaded Ivory series. Every book is about another couple and could be read as a standalone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous books are Rock Me, Ride Me and Cover Me.
String Me is Monty and Allana's story. Monty and Jackson are the last single ones of the Jaded Ivory band. All the other members found their HEA snd are happy as yes. Mari and Cole, Sawyer and Reagan, Heath and Jenna.
Monty is tired of seeing lovey dovey every day. He's tired of touring, recording, He's tired of everything. He wants a break. Butb what he doesn't know is he's in for the surprise of his life. Put Allana in the mix and you got a story full of twists and unexpected turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The writing is great and I loved loved loved the characters and the story. 5 stars.

Strings of the heart

Monty is the bass player for Jaded Ivory. He is also the one in the group who is always causing and getting into trouble. It all comes to a head one day and he decides he needs a break from the band. He flies to Vegas and after a night of drinking, finds himself married to Allana, a young woman who was there trying to get over her cheating ex.I

This story includes massive amounts of drinking, miscommunication and lots of grovelling. The other members of Jaded Ivory are also featured in this story when things happen that make Monty leave the band and stand by his new wife. You will high-five Monty for standing by his wife even though it may cause problems for the band.

This series gets better and better and the author takes us on a journey behind the scenes of a rising rock band.

The story of Allana and Monty was capturing and will definitely send you on an emotional rollercoaster. This book was crazy though!!!! Monty a sexy as can be bassist wakes up married to Allana, a high school teacher. Poor Allana, my heart truely hurt for her and catching her bf with someone else. Ugh! This book made me smile, laugh, cry and just feel like no other. Being that this is the first book I have read by Rebecca Brooke, I will totally be going back to read the earlier books that Rebecca released.

Watching the characters playout the roles of being married and how to deal with it was just amusing to say the least. I loved being able to see both POV's of how the story played out. Totally a must read!!!

This is the fourth book in this phenomenal series, and is Monty and Allana’s story. Monty is the bassist of the band, and Allana is a high school English teacher. The two soon learn that what happens in Vegas does not necessarily stay there. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a beautifully written rock romance story, which is steamy, and filled with lies, betrayal, misunderstandings, and love. I was captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all readers.

String Me is the fourth book in the Jaded Ivory series. There's been some changes in the band's personal lives, and it's taking them away from focusing on their music. Monty feels like a outsider within his "family" and decides he needs a break. I liked the story, it has drama, suspense, humor, family, and love. Monty and Allana were so good together, she calmed him while he taught her it's okay to be spontaneous. I liked them. I'm glad that the other band members make an appearance in eachothers stories. Can't wait to read Jackson's story next.

so many typos, not enough groveling

Brooke tells a good story and I like the members of the band. Add to this that my current favorite reads tend to be married in Vegas and I was looking forward to reading this book.

Spoiler alert:
I was disappointed in how poorly the band treated Allana. They ask to meet her and then they ice her out, barely even acknowledge her, even Mari. I think there should have been way more groveling. Both Monty and Allana deserved it.

I probably should be giving it 2 stars instead of 3, but the storyline was original.

Loved Monty and Allana!

I have absolutely loved this series and getting Monty’s story was what I was waiting for. Let’s say I’m not disappointed at all. It’s funny, sexy and even has some mystery.

A drunken night brings Monty and Allana together, what happens in Vegas definitely doesn’t stay in Vegas and the band isn’t happy at all. Misunderstandings threaten the band and long time friendships. This is way more that your typical romance and you’re going to love it! Definitely recommend.

Book Rocked!

I've loved all of the books in the series! I would've thought a book about Monty would be challenging. I was able to find the reasoning behind his outlandish behavior. He is a sweet man and kind as well. Allana was a character you can picture in your mind. Teacher, ex boyfriend, girl trip to Vegas!

I want to help her edit…

The storyline is great. The sex is not over the top. The characters are fun. The writing is great. The typos and wrong words are so frustrating and end up distracting me from the story. I would have given five stars if it was not for the poor editing.

I love Rebecca Brooke's writing and this story is no different, Monty keeps messing up which adds to the drama the band keeps going through and he didnt mean to pull her into it all and his heart is in the right place, you can not help but fall in love with him and this story

This was an OK read - Meet in Vegas, get drunk-married - this has been used before but I will say this one does have a slight twist. Monty & Allana are really good together, the trouble comes from elsewhere. Pleasant, quick and just OK for me.

OMG this book, there are just no words that I can write that will do this book justice.

I was in literal turmoil while reading this book, the things that the author makes us go through just about wrecked me. I held out till the end and it was all worth it in the end.

This is book four and all the others must be read in order to follow the story of each of the band members.

Cant wait for the next book

Editing would go a long way

This would have benefited from some editing. Consistent use of the wrong word "titled" instead of "tilted", and areas where sentences would be missing a word.

I actually had the privilege to Beta read one of my favourite rock star story. It was an amazing 5 star story that was addicting.

Monty his part of Jaded Ivory. All his band mates have found love and things have changed in their family dynamics. So he thinks. So he decides to go to Vegas for some time off and think. He meets Allana. One drunken nights leads to so much more.

I really love this series. This story was entertaining and captivating. I enjoy very much to get to see all the other members where they are at. Monty and Allana had some great chemistry going on. A great storyline that flowed well.

It could be read as a standalone but for better enjoyment read them all. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
