LUCY
I’ve always held my own.
I’m determined.
I’m happy.
I’m strong.
Not right now, though. Right now I’m weak.
Pathetic.
Because I screwed up, I screwed up in a way I can’t fix.
I destroyed someone.
I stomped on a heart.
I broke the one rule all women should live by.
There is no coming back from it.
Yet, I can’t seem to find the strength to stop.
Nicolai. That name. It ruins me.
I tried to stay away.
I fought so hard.
I knew what he was. Who he was.
I knew what he had done.
But I can’t seem to stop.
I try and forget how his hands felt against my skin.
How his lips felt on mine.
How his body moved. God, his body.
I’m a terrible person.
A terrible sister.
But take me to hell, if you must, so long as he comes with me.

DAMON
Get a girl, they say.
Find a woman, Damon.
Settle down.
I have one thing to say to that. Women equal drama.
You know it’s true.
I don’t have time for drama.
Why can’t I be different? Why do I have to follow the trend?
My story doesn’t have to match theirs. Hell, when the time comes I’ll find the right one.
Until then, I’ll stick to friends. Yep. I can do friends.
Lucy. She’s my friend. My best friend, if I’m being honest.
She’s strong.
She’s determined.
She kind of holds my pieces together. And I hers.
In the most non-romantic way I can think of.
She has plenty of her own drama, she keeps us both busy.
She’s like a sister.
No, scratch that.
Lucy, she’s the kind of woman who could run a country.
Hold a family together.
That’s the kind of person she is.
The lady of the house.
Yep.
That’s our Lucy.
Knights Lady.

After going back and reading every book in this series and the Iron Fury series (which I hadn't done before), it has become very clear that Damon and Lucy were never meant to be. That said, I still really don't get the title and blurb for this book. Since I feel that Lucy has very little to do with the "Knights". Also, I actually like Nicolai, and he was definitely mentioned as her love interest in the previous book, so why not be more clear about the whole thing? Must be me.... who knows ;)

3

I like this author, I really enjoyed the MC SinnersThe Jokers' Wrath MC, and the The MC Sinners Next Generation series. So when I saw this new series come by...I had to give it a try....Especially after reading the blurb for this one.

I have just finished and I can honestly say that I am utterly confused !!

what is going on gif - Google zoeken

This book definitely didn't turn out the way I expected it would. Now I am all for books taking turns and screwing with my head a bit, but in this case... I was actually a bit upset. Reason being, that I was so distracted with how I thought things were gonna be...that I didn't really get to enjoy the story.

I figured this was gonna be a love story about Lucy and Damon... At least that is what I figured from reading the blurb... I was even expecting a bit of a love triangle. It is not though... Lucy and Damon are just friends. She keeps calling them "besties", but to be honest...I don't think they are even that. I guess being friends with one of the "Knights" men, has earned her the title "Knights Lady"...though I still don't see why.

I don't get it gif - Google zoeken

I think the blurb is a bit misleading and the same goes for the title if I am honest. I don't think Lucy deserves the title of "Knights Lady". Not really.

This is the love story about Lucy and Nicolai and besides Lucy complaining about her life to Damon Knight...it has nothing to do with the "Knights Brothers".

Now all the above doesn't mean that this wasn't a good story...It just wasn't what I was expecting and it took me reaching the 80% mark to finally realize that Damon and Lucy were not gonna happen....Very distracting ...

I think Lucy and Nicolai would have been an awesome match if it wasn't for the fact that he is her sister's ex and her nephew's father. It is actually one of my pet peeves... I am best friends with my sister, I would never ever want to be with one of her exes...it's an unwritten rule, I am sure.

obey the rules gif - Google zoeken

This is a personal preference though... Even I have to admit that Nicolai and Lucy were pretty HOT together and they did seem to really love one another, despite all the obstacles they had to face.

I still think this blurb doesn't fit the story and I would have given it more stars had I known the direction of the story before I started it.

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
=============
Our heroine is a big mess.
She begins a love affair with her sister's ex.
The same guy who supposedly used her sister and stole their son.
Very strange and disgusting. After all, everyone hates the guy.
We also have an ex-wife wanting revenge and money and the heroes of the previous books continue to help their friend in clandestine fights.
I did not like the heroes.
Glad that the book was available on Kindle Unlimited, I just wasted my time anyway.

“Nicolai, as in the one we all hate, as in the one who hurt your sister and stole her child? That Nicolai?”

“Right,” Damon murmurs when I’m done, “so you listened to his side of the story, decided he wasn’t as bad as you all thought, forgave him, and then somehow his dick ended up inside you?”

“You’re married!” “Before you overreact,” he says, calmly, “let me at least tell you the story, yeah?”

Before I started this book in my head I'd already taken a side and wasn't Lucy and Nicolai's. At the end of the previous book I was thinking one thing WTF are you doing. However as I read I changed my opinion of him but their choices affect the whole family and they can't hide from it. I began to respect Nicolai much more than I thought I would. Bella writes him perfectly where we see what an amazing dad he is and the decisions he made are ones now I understand. Lucy is sweet, kind and up to now you'd say loyal. I got her confusion between heart and head, love and family. The relationship she has with Damon is fun to read, loved their banter which was a welcome break from the angst. Now I'm even more excited for Damon's book bring it on.

ok, first of all, why did the author put Damon in the blurb?!?!?!??!?
this book has nothing to do with him, yes he is in there but Nikolai should be there instead , this doesn't make any sense. It's not about Damon. At all.

Second of all, i felt like all this writing was rushed. I needed more of it , more details ,even in the sex scenes i wish and like to read more of it, not simply " he fucked me hard" , "we fucked" and then the end, end of the night, day or whatever. MEHHH

I felt like i was missing pieces of the story, i mean, she let weeks sometimes day passing and she told us only a few words about what happened even when we needed to know more,it was really important for us to know to make us feel more connected with the story.

Then i must say i hate the books where one of them have kids, but in this case i didn't care because at least he didn't have a relationship with his sister ,years gone by etc. But still hm i didn't like it so much .

I will not read the first 2 books, based on the reviews i already know what happened in the first ,which again we will have a douche and a girl which is the sister of Lucy and a kid which is Nikolai's and it's already a BIG FAT NO. I will not read the second because i already know Finn it's a manwhore and he f**s with 2 at the same period of time so again HECK NO! I decided to read only this one because the "cons wasn't so bad like in the first to books."

I'm hating the fact that she was in rush when she shouldn't be :/ i mean, the story was good, but i couldn't connect with them because of this.
unfortunately i will not read other books by this author. And i'm sorry for this, the story line and the writing was cool but not enough :/:(

This is the third book in the Rumblin’ Knights series. You can read this as a standalone, but if you read the other books first, you’ll know more about Shania, Nicolai, and Tommy. You’ll also know more about Brody.

Let me start by saying that I loved the previous books. This one just didn’t hit the mark for me.

Lucy, honestly annoyed me. I did like her in some scenes. Like at the end with Tommy. I love her friendship with Damon.

I really wish this would have been Damon’s book.

And Nicolai, I don’t like at all. Yes, he’s a great dad. But, he does nothing for me. He is beyond an alpha-hole. Yes, he does have moments of being nice, but not many.

The whole Yani thing is still left open.

It seems like Brody is getting a book next.

I would say to give this a chance. I have a feeling my opinion will be in the minority. And while I didn’t love this, it was still an okay read. Bella’s writing is great. And she’s an author that I love to read.

I am curious about how she's a Knights lady when she's only "besties" with Damon.

Lucy and Nicolai is a weird combination when you look on the outside, her sister's ex and nephew's dad. This book was not at all what I expected it to be. Lucy was all over the place emotional and maturity wise. I did like Damon and Lucy as besties and how she forced him to be her friend. Nicolai and Lucy fought to make it work, when everyone else was saying they shouldn't work.

Loved it!

I was so happy to see Nicolai get a book and Lucy was his perfect fit. Yes a bit awkward but no less entertaining. Would have loved a touch more sex between them like most of her other books but it didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved Knights Lady and what a series The Rumbling Knights series is shaping upto be and Nicolai and Lucy's story was beautiful but gut wrenching at the same time it's hard to have so much chemistry with the guy who hurt your sister and also had a child with her, but Lucy and Nicolai are fantastic when they are together everything flows so naturally for the pair but so much stands in their way and you never know if they can overcome that burden.

It's been an amazing series and one I'll remember for a long time! I'm a huge fan of Bella Jewel and I cant wait for more from the Rumbling Knights :)

Knights Lady by Bella Jewel is book Three in the Rumblin' Knights series.
This book continues the underlining story going through this series, but also deals with Lucy. Lucy has crossed a line with her sister's baby daddy and the fall out with that. Then she has a best friend Damon who has been there for him and he for her. Feelings are coming into play and Lucy is just trying to make things right.

Got to 45% and realised I was hating all of the characters... Couldn't read anymore if somebody paid me. I had downloaded book 4, but tbh I hate the thought of reading it. Book 1 was Ok, book 2 was on par with book 1 but the thought of having to read the same story with a twist and different names just wasn't happening. Sorry but the story line with these characters became flat!

DNF at about 20%. Maybe it is cultural differences, but for me when someone tries to prove me that hiring a stripper, who drugged and tried having my sister raped, because she makes a lot of money is non of my business, it is just bullshit. The same bullshit as saying that being angry that a father kidnapped a newborn baby is being judgmental. I couldn't connect with characters or story.

I so dislike relatives with with siblings exes. I don't care that Shania was in a one sided relationship with Nikokai. They have a son together. Lucy should not have pursued him. When they have a kid they'll be a brother/sister and cousin at the same time.

You know the ex with whom you had a terrible end? The one that broke you into a thousand pieces? And you still have to talk with it because you have a son together. Did you? Now imagine if your sister and best friend, the sister you practically raised most of your lives falls in love with him ... That's exactly what happens to Lucy and Shania. But we'll hear in Knights Lady the story of Lucy, the sister who can not help but fall in love with the "wrong guy." After approaching Nicolai, hearing the version of his facts and seeing how much he has changed for his son, Lucy can not stay away. But is it worth risking your relationship with your sister for a man? And is it worth risking your heart to someone who everyone thinks will harm you? How to trust someone who has done so badly to someone you love? Can people really change? This is what Lucy will discover during the book.

Not wanting to give too much spoilers, it took me a while to accept Lucy's feelings. I would not forgive my sister in Shania's place, even because I have an ex like that and would not take my sister with him... But not only that, I took time to trust Nicolai. I had no doubt that he loves Lucy, even because I read chapters from his point of view, I just did not know if he was worth it ... But I could see how much a child makes a person change. How incredible love can be when you fight for it.
although my favorite character in the book was Damon. What an incredible dude! What an example of true friendship is his and Lucy's. That kind of friend you love as a brother, who will always support you and stand by you, no matter what. And without a ulterior motive, pure friendship. I loved their friendship. And I was super happy with the end of it. Just because the guy is not a broken and tormented badboy , does not mean he doesn't deserve an epic love lol.
Like every Bella book, there's something more drawn to a dark novel, a big anguish, conflicted feelings, and some crazy psycho to give a pretty cool action on the story .. An incredible read that makes you not take your eyes off it until it's over.

Knights Lady is one book I’ve been itching to read after the way book 2, Knights Fury, ended. The forbidden fruit aspect always so alluring!

Lucy, Shania’s sister, is certainly in hot water by falling for her sister’s ex-lover, Nicolai, who also just happens to be the father of Shania’s child- entering into a taboo relationship.

Lucy is a character who is hard not to like straight away. She is strong and determined but does struggle just like any normal person and I think this is one of the reasons why I really enjoy these stories, the characters are so real. Nicolai? Well I have to admit I had no idea how she could even go near him however things are revealed and people do change.

Every now and then a really funny line comes up and the humour is outstanding. For example when Nicolai turns up on Lucy’s doorstep and her knees tremble she tells herself..”I’ll be having a word to them later about this..” 😂

A few heart racing moments keep you on the edge of your seat, great writing. The problem still circling with Finn and Brady continues to be a mystery and so intriguing. A thoroughly entertaining book I recommend to everyone however if you haven’t read the previous two books I suggest you treat yourself as they are a series.

Man, I was waiting with bated breath for this book to come out after the cliff hanger from the last one. How could Lucy dare to start a relationship with Nikolai, let alone sleep with me, after everything he put her sister Shania through?
Well when you read this book, you will find out everything that went on to make her do it and that it wasn't an easy thing for her to do.

Another great book from one of my go-to authors, not my fave of this series but I am hoping the next one will answer the questions I have.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Lucy always held her own. She is determined, happy, and strong. Not right now though. Right now she is weak. Pathetic. Because she screwed up. Screwed up in a way she can't fix. She destroyed someone. Stomped on a heart. She broke the one rule all women should live by. There is no coming back from that. Yet she can't seem to find the strength to stop. Nicolia. That name ruins her. She tried to stay away, fought so hard. She knew what he was who he was, knew what he had done. But she can't seem to stop. she tried to forget how his hands felt against her skin. How his lips felt on hers. How his body moved SHe is a terrible person. A terrible sister.

Damon was told to get a girl. FInd a woman, settle down. He has one thing to say that. Women equal drama. When the time comes he will find the right one. Until then he is fine with being friends. Lucy is his friend. His best friend if he is being honest. She holds all his pieces together. And he does the same for her. She is what holds the family together. she is the lady of the house. Knights Lady.

This is the story of Lucy and like most of us she wants what she can not have. Nicolai is who she can't have. He is the baby daddy of her sister's baby and now she is back and wants to build a family and a new relationship. However Lucy has it bad for him and is not so willing to not want him like she does. I am not going to lie this book was a slow slow start for me. And then there began the drama and when I say drama there is a ton of it. It is what keeps this book going and speeds it up. I really liked these characters and it was a good read just not as good as some of the others in this series.

I don't know why I'm still reading this series, I guess I want to know how things finally end but this one was no better than the last one. Lucy is Shania's sister and years prior when Shania was a stripper, she worked for a man named Nicolai and Lucy despised him. But now Nicolai has to be in their lives because he and Shania have a son together. After a night partying with friends, Lucy encounters Nicolai at his club and they get into a fight. Couple days later, Lucy goes to apologize and they somehow end up sleeping together. WTF??? Lucy was so freaking annoying, and every time she cried and said she's my sister I wanted to toss my tablet. Her and Nicolai have crazy chemistry and they like each other but she's scared of hurting Shania who's in a happy relationship with Lincoln. This book was really frustrating, I kind of liked Nicolai and even though he should have never crossed that line with Lucy the man was smooth. He went after what he wanted and didn't play any games. Lucy was just ridiculous and I do not understand why this book was called Knight's Lady because wasn't in a sexual relationship with Damon, but they were good friends and they did tell each other everything. The whole drama with Nicolai's ex was out of left field and crazy. But in the end, Nicolai and Lucy found their way to each other and Damon got himself his own girl. So I'm gonna read the last book in the series and be done with this crazy series.

~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Beautiful and gut wrenching read. Lucy wants something she can’t have and it may just tear her and her sister apart. Nicolai doesn’t know what to think because he can’t seem to understand what business his want for Lucy is to anyone but them. Damon is her best friend and will always be. He needs a woman. This story was a delight to read. Lucy and Nicolai and the rest of these characters are wonderful. Excellent writing. A must read.
~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~

I have to admit at the start of this story I didn't like Nicolai but through what Lucy went through I found that I loved him. This is one story that ripped my heart out and left me wanting more pages to read. The characters are real and riveting. The chemistry between Nicolai and Lucy was off the charts hot and I loved how Lucy struggled with it. This is one series that you won't want to miss. You don't have to read the series but it helps to know the back story of the other characters. Definitely must read.

Knights Lady by Bella Jewel is book three in her Rumblin' Knights series. While every book is about another couple, and could be read as standalones, I strongly recommend, for best reading experience and because in this book are loots of cross-overs, phew deep breath, to read the books in order.
Lucy is Shania's sister. Yes the Shania who left her son, is now back and tries to build a new relationship. And there's Nicolai, the baby dadddy, club owner who raised his son all by himself. He took him from his mother and never looked back. But now everything has changed.
Including the infatuation of Lucy with Nicolai. Only he's enemy nr. one for sister Shania. AS tricky and compliucated situation. Yes. She knows she should stay far away from him, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
It took me some time to get into the story. Lucy seems a bit high maintenance, but Nicolai, who should know better - he's the mature one - can't get her out of his head.
There is a lot of personal drama involved. Drama that kept me on the edge of my seat. I liked the story and the characters, the writing is great. Knights Lady is mostly told in Lucy's POV and I liked that. I give 4 stars.

Ok.. let’s talk about how much of an absolute spoiled rotten brat Lucy is and how awful Nicolai is. Shania went and became a stripper at 18 after losing her father and mother threw her out to be able to take care of her sister. She becomes overly attached to Nicolai who was older. He kew better and mentally fs with her she absolutely admits she was in the wrong. He admits he was wrong also, the only thing is Shania changed and Nicolai did not. Not only did he continue to employe Yana after she hired someone to rape and beat Shania he starts dating her sister and her sister just gobbles up all his bullshit. Sister knows all this and she continues to date this guy. Lucy has as much depth to her as crayon and oh an older successful businessman falls in love her.. hmmm let’s think about that. I get why he took the baby, do I agree with it? No. But I understand. But to keep employment for someone who did that to the mother of his child is one sick f. All because she is good dancer and brings in money. If any other MC book had that Yana would literally not be breathing. Author does a poor job developing characters. Her ideas and topics for plot have potential but execution is poor..

Knights Lady by Bella Jewel
“Is she really Knights Lady? 3 stars”

Lucy has made a mess out of her life and the only person willing to hear her out is her best friend Damon. Will Lucy take a risk on love or will she let family obligations stand in her way? Damon is feeling the pressure to settle down but he doesn’t know if its what he wants. The only one who really gets it is his girl Lucy. Only one way to find out what happens for these two.
Knights Lady was a solid story I will give Jewel that. But it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. I thought where it was titled Knight’s Lady it would be Damon’s love story but it was mainly just his friendship with Lucy. I like when stories don’t go the way I expect them to but Knights Lady just left me wanting something else. I did love catching up with the other Knights and can’t wait to see where Jewel goes with the next story.

4 Rumblin' stars!! Sexy, sinful and edge of my seat.

I love a good MC book and this one has everything I needed to satisfy my thirst. I've read other books by Bella Jewel but I have to say this is my favorite one to date! I loved the storyline and the characters. Everything was perfectly put together and fun to read.

I am a huge fan of this author so it wasn't surprising that I loved this book. I mean she knows how to write a great story with characters you can't help but love. This is no exception. I absolutely loved Lucy, Nicolai, Damon and the rest of the group. This brings up a subject that most of us forget.. there's two sides to every story.
Lucy hates Nicolai for hurting her sister and despites the fact that there's an attraction. Lucy is definitely a favorite character. She strong, sassy and loyal. She hates to hurt the ones she loves and in this one she most definitely does this. Nicolai reminds her that he's not as bad as she thinks. He's able to be honest and just open up with Lucy. He doesn't do that very often. He is a determined business owner but a softy when it comes to Lucy. She fights him every step of the way but soon things fall into place for them. This book has characters you will fall in love and some you are glad that they are gone. This book was a great read!!

I went into this book not sure how I was going to feel about it. I shook my head several times and even contemplated throwing my kindle. I wanted to yell and scream at Lucy asking her WTF are you thinking. However, as I got further into the story I wanted to yell the same thing at Shania and Nikolia as well.

Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. You have some MAJOR explaining to do!!! Lucy has made a choice that not only affects her, but those close to her. If you are looking for a story that has you sitting there wanting to scream than this book is for you. Did I agree with how things happened? No, but in the grand scheme of things it could have been worse. My heart hurt for Lucy at times since her heart was saying one thing, but her head and friends saying something completely different. As the old saying goes the heart wants What the heart wants. That is definitely the case in this book.

I really loved this book. I am a huge fan of this author and will read anything she writes. She never disappoints and I know if I am in need of a good book to read I can grab on of hers and be happy. The characters are always so complex and the characters in this series come with some serious history. Makes for a great book with lots of drama that keeps you turning pages.

So I was not a huge fan of Nicolai previously but boy did I really love him in this book. Getting a look behind the mask really makes a huge difference with this character. Things that seem shady before now become clearer and I really liked him. Now Lucy I loved from the beginning. She is tough and determined but also has a vulnerability that makes here relatable. A whole lot of drama in this book and I loved every second of it! Ready for what is next!

Lucy and Nicolai are forbidden lovers. Her sister, Shania, and Nicolai have a sordid history and it was kind of bad form for Lucy to sleep with him and keep it a secret. Even more confusing than that though is how Lucy would be deemed "Knights Lady". This book has nothing to do with any of the Knight brothers, except that Lucy and Damon are supposedly "besties". Damon seemed to be a peripheral player in this story at best. Lucy and Nicolai were kind of forced into keeping their relationship private after the fit Shania threw numerous times in the book about them. Lucy did stand up when it counted and Nicolai never wavered from what he wanted. There was a twist in the book that had some unexpected consequences. The ending set up the next book in this series. Interested to see what happens next.

3.5 stars. Quick read.

The blurb doesn't really match the story too well. Damon is a best friend not a love interest. He's a sounding board. He keeps it honest and let's Lucy know when she's an idiot or when she's smart. Lucy whoops slept with someone she shouldn't have and continues to do so. Feelings get hurt, people judge and assume, telling Lucy she's foolish.
Maybe she's different though. The whole story is a bit odd. I mean not odd that it can happen, but odd that it doesn't really have anything to do with the MC books previously. She's kind of a side character. I thought there might be a love triangle. There's not, at least not in the way you think.

I like how the author ends the book with the details to the next book, leaving you wanting more.

Finally we get Lucy’s story. I’ve got to be honest, I went into this book with my mind made up. No way was I going to like Lucy. Or Nicolai for that matter. However once I started to get to know Lucy I was firmly on her side. Nicolai slowly won me over and I saw a completely different Nicolai than I’d been expecting. He’s not as bad as I thought he would be. Everything he’s done has been for his son and i love man who chooses to be a good father.

I really enjoyed Lucy and Nicolai’s story. Neither was what I was expecting and I never thought Lucy would end up been one of my favourite characters but she did.

This is another good book in this series and I can’t wait for more from the Rumblin’ Knights series.

At last we have Nicolai and Lucy's story in this expanding world and it was worth waiting for. Filled with action, which includes the wider circle of the Rumblin' Knights, Nicolai and Lucy's story has play put against issues from the past.
Great banter between Lucy and Damon, more of the sweet Erin and revelations about the past, keep the action rolling, not to mention hot and explosive times between Nicolai and Lucy! I loved seeing the improved Nicolai! Definitely great book boyfriend material right there!
I enjoyed this book, though I did some of the events repeated themselves. I am now on tenderhooks for Brody's story. Should be a corker.
