I'm giving this book a 4/5 as it is really helpful and the patterns are cute - but about 10 of the 34 patterns are very similar (jackets at the end and hats) annnnnnd the yarn is very costly - even if you get alternatives to the brand itself! That being said I did learn a bit more to elevate my craft and I will make some of these items for sure.

I hope another one comes out soon that is a bit more accessible in price for the projects because it's always nice to have actually cool knitted goods.

Great patterns, easy to follow. I’ve been knitting here and there for a couple of years. Due to this book I finally have the confidence to make my first sweater! I feel like it won’t be an agonizing task but a fun learning experience and the patterns are SO COOL I can’t wait to wear them. Truly modern knitting :)

Love this book! It’s revealed the secret of purl stitch (I can’t understand why I never learned this before) and inspired me to try chunky knitting, don’t have any giant needles but I think Oliver’s drumsticks will work okay for now.
