I liked all the flaps, mostly I wanted to chew on them. I also really liked the bright colors, fluffy bits, and mostly the shiny, pink present. - Lily
This is definitely a book about color, texture, and peek-a-boo elements. It is *not* a book about a story. Taking it for what it is - which was more of an experience for my LO than a bedtime story - I'd say it was successful in that respect. She loved all the colors, divots of texture, soft furs and shiny fabrics, and it took all my gentle parenting skills to get her not to tear pumpkin off and eat it for dinner.

Cute book. I make up stories to go with the pictures for my daughter, especially the pages for brown and pink and the townhouses featured.
My daughter is enamored with the full color pages and the flaps. She is not quite into the textures yet, but still enjoys the book.
