I think it's extremely funny that when Benton Collins returned to Earth, he brought
Anyway, another great and entertaining plot, interesting supporting characters and magic, great dramatic tension, some intriguing crossdressing, and the alarming possibility of the protagonist marrying a full-time horse. What a wild ride. I am having such a good time.

Not quite as good as the first, but still very good! A fast-paced plot, and I love how the main character just gets sucked into things.

The ending felt a bit rushed, so I wonder if this was originally supposed to be a trilogy. Still a very enjoyable read!

Honestly this book was a bit of a disappointment as a sequel should explore the world more but all we get just more resolutions that should have happened in the first book instead of being made sequel. If this and the first book were just one story then it would have been a lot stronger. It also shares the same problems as the main character is yet again dull and is basically the good guy. They try to make him a bit more interesting with him coming up with clever ideas but yet again he hardly changes or progresses.

This book was mediocre. The plot is interesting enough to keep me reading, but I don't really care for her style. She has a tendency to exaggerate, especially when it comes to injuries. Paper cuts cause excruciating and harrowing pain for these characters.
