Order is book two in the Tattoos and Ties Duet by Kindle Alexander. This book starts up immediately where the first book, Havoc, left off. You definitely need to read these in order.

Alec Pearce is still working for the assistant district attorney’s office but now in the Children Protective Services department. He is in love with Keyes. He’s found the family with him he never knew growing up. Alec is determined to make their lives work together and he’ll make whatever changes necessary to do so. But it’s one particular case on his desk that keeps him from leaving CPS right away. A little girl with big blue eyes. And it’s her father whose ties to Havoc keep Alec staying vigilant to protect the love of his life.

Keyes Dixon’s only family has always been his motorcycle club, Havoc. But he’s found something else with Alec, an acceptance, a peace he has never known. He keeps his two worlds strictly separated. If his club brothers knew he was living with a man working for the department trying to take down their organization, Alec’s life would be in danger.

These two men have found something together that neither ever dreamed of. Neither feel worthy of the other. No matter how often Keyes tells himself he should cut Alec loose for his own good, he knows deep down he could never go through with it. Alec has become his life. But the district attorney is out to bring down Havoc. At the same time, Alec is trying to manipulate all the different pieces in play to protect Key and the life he sees for them.

What I loved about this book is that there was no push away. Key might have thought about it but he knows he can’t do it. I loved that both of them will do anything for the other. I loved the way that Alec saw everything so clearly and was willing to do whatever necessary to make that life a reality for them both. To provide Key with the life he deserves. They might have come from different worlds but these two men really were the same in so many ways.

There were a few parts in this book where the pace slowed down a bit but things perked back up the last quarter. I loved the epilogue but I would have liked one more five years down the line to see what that looked like. I did love this duet. I loved these two together and the love they shared. I loved the way they were both willing to do whatever it took to keep the other safe. I’m so glad I finally jumped in and read this.

This book... What the hell am I supposed to say?

I don’t know. Truly.

This book isn’t perfect. I’ll start with that. But dammit, it’s pretty close.

Let me say this first. This isn’t really a ‘biker’ book. It’s really more of a Relationship book? After reading it, I think you’ll understand.

I just LOVED Alec and Keyes. Loved them, and they are one of my favourite couples now. Firmly on the list.

Keyes is a bad ass biker dude. A guy that grew up in the gang. He didn’t have a great life as a child and his “gang” chose to look the other way because of their loyalty to his old man. Strike one, two and three against them in my opinion. But hey, I’m just the reader here.

Key is so much more than a big bad biker. He’s dealing with cropped up emotions and feelings of abandonment without even being aware of them, because he’s a big bad biker right? Who needs feelings? He’s loyal and fierce and such a big softy when it comes to Alec. He’s insecure moments made my knees weak. And don’t even start with weak knees when Alec stepped in every time and handled him just right! So good.

Alec is exactly the right person for Keyes, and he’s his own brand of fabulous. He’s way with Key was such a pleasure to read, careful and determined. I read this book for those moments, I’m not ashamed to say.

I didn’t really care about anything else, not even the little things that niggled in the back of my mind. Because they did Relationship so damn good it totally distracted me.

I just wanted more of them, more of their little and big moments. More of their “fights” and agreements and simple moments.

This wasn’t really a biker book in my opinion, it was about them. Keyes and Alec and their growth together. I thrived on all of these little amazing moments. It did my heart good and I wish I could post all of them here, but I can’t.

“Is that how you see me?”

“I might not have chosen all this exactly.” Key nodded toward the interior of the house then slid a hand across his chest. “But I mark my body with significance. No matter how this turns out between us, I always want you with me. You’ve had the largest impact on my life. I wanna remember everything about this time, so I made it the biggest ink I could.”

Alec has his own demons to deal with. His parents, oh hell, his whole family just really sucks. I’d sure like to have seen his dad fall from his golden thrown. And his mother... there are reasons why some woman shouldn’t have children. She’s no mother, she’s a leach. You don’t stand up for your child and that’s that. Enough said.

I didn’t like Blaine. I still don’t. I don’t like his personality and I agree with Key 100%, what kind of friend leaves his friend on a deserted road cause he needs his beauty sleep? No friend. Sorry.

Dev, well he sure was a dark horse. But I like him. He’s got potential. Especially with the little bit of info he casually lets slip there in the end. Wink wink.

Point is, I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters and their complexities. They were my main focus in the story and that caused me to not really dwell to much on anything other than that mostly.

There were some things that didn’t quite tie together. I’d be laying if I didn’t say that.

In the end, it’s about your personal enjoyment of something. I enjoyed this one a great deal. I don’t have the vocabulary to really share my impression but I think you get it. ;-)

Order picks up right where Havoc left off.
Every day Alec & Key spend together they are falling more in love. With Key spending more time at Alec's the two fall into domesticated bliss.

Alec is busy making changes to his life to be able to be with Key in the open, he is ready for the next step in their life.
But it is not that easy for Key to cut ties with his brothers from The Disciples of Havoc MC.

This is an explosive ending to what looked like an impossible situation, but in the end these guys let the most important thing prevail, setting aside any considerations for anything other besides their love for each other.

While I enjoyed the love Alec & Keyes have for each other, I was disappointed that the Pierce's family did not get what was coming to them. I would have really enjoyed a public humiliation.
Maybe there is a book 3 on the way? Devilman & Blaine's story?

This is the perfect ending. It was everything I wanted and expected from this story. Like sitting down to a meal where you are happily delighted in the start. It's unexpected but yet you can't wait what comes next to your taste buds. Kindle Alexander gets to the meat of the story and leaves the reader satisfied at the end.

The story is built upon what you feel in Havoc. Keyes and Alec deliver chemistry that cannot be denied no matter what an unlikely pairing they seem. But at the end of Havoc you see this duo has the potential to build something lasting. But will outside influences keep the two as star crossed lovers?

This story is simple this: a relationship story. If you are expecting a typical MC or crime suspense, the elements are there. But serve as an influence not the core substance of the story. Kindle Alexander gives what fans expect - that love story you can't help but root for them against the odds. Keyes and Alec both have to deal with what it's like to be in a real relationship. All the hurdles in the way including not allowing the nature of themselves and the nurture who molded them - end them.

I don't want to give too much away. In this half of the duet, we get to see deeper into the characters and fall right in love with them. Fans will be delighted in reading and feeling that connection.

If you've read Havoc, Order is the perfect thick slice of chocolate cake you've been waiting for. If you've not read Havoc, pick up the duet and prepare for a non-stop binge into their world. I loved it and savored the journey Kindle Alexander took me on. Check out my review of Havoc and pick up this 5 star duet recommendation from me.

Order is the second book in the Tattoos and Ties duet following Alec and Key. Alec's family is horrible, Key has MC and dad problems, and the two of them are trying to also navigate their relationship. I loved that this whole story was relationship focused and centered around these two beautiful men finding their HEA.

"He’d found his perfect match on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere Texas."

Order was sweet and smutty with enough angst to keep me engaged. I really liked both Alec and Key and their alpha personalities. It made for explosive bedroom scenes and concrete relationship building. Overall, really enjoyed this MM romance.

***** Tattooes and Ties #2 Part two of Alec and Key's romance. We see the ups and downs, the awesome glimpses of what their lives are and will be, with hope and promise, but we still have some negatives floating around.
Keyes...

There is Alec's horrid family and Key's "Disciples of Havoc MC" problems, his Dad's illness and hate, plus his fears of losing his happiness with Alec. We get a lot of detail in the guy's worries and dreams. Alec....

We see LOTS of HOT SEXY TIMES. Whew ! These two are rockin' the house, both will bottom and both are sizzling.

There are issues with the club, and the new job for Alec and his terrific plans for their future. With Key's club trouble, he's rethinking his future and realizing big changes are due.

I loved Nash, the sassy, fun, cuddly dog

that Key and Alec get to bond with.

There is some scary violence toward the end, but our men do not waver in their devotion. This two story set is full novel sized, and includes deep, thoughtfilled characters we like, and it's wonderful.

Fantastic wrap up. Highly recommended.
ENJOY !

I am so happy and excited that the writing duo of Kindle Alexander has brought us the conclusion to Keyes and Alec's story!! I have been rooting for these two guys from the very beginning. The badass biker and the hot as sin lawyer - two guys who couldn't be farther apart in almost every way.

When we left Keyes and Alec at the end of Havoc, they were in a good place, Alec having finally worn Keyes down enough for him to be kind of comfortable having an ongoing "thing" together. But I knew things weren't going to be simple, what with the DA's office that Alec works for gunning for the club and Keyes' brothers in arms.

Kindle does an amazing job of navigating Keyes and Alec through a tenuous relationship, both of them finding it harder and harder to get through their days without being together. But Keyes is still heavily embroiled in the club and Alec is still trying to navigate the political minefield his father is pushing him through.

My heart broke for both men when it came to the horrible families they have - Keyes with a piece of shit father and Alec being almost completely shunned by his with the exception of the many appearances he's expected to make for his father. Truly these two only have each other and a very tiny circle of trusted people.

I waited through the whole book with baited breath for these two men's worlds to collide, and not in a good way. They are just so vastly different in almost every way, how are they ever going to find a path forward together? I was rooting so hard for these two to find a way!!

Keyes and Alec's story is an emotional one, with lots happening all around them while they are trying to get to know each other and learn to trust each other, all while falling hopelessly in love. It was wonderful to see some beloved characters from other Kindle books make an appearance and there was one new little character that pretty much stole the show.

Keyes and Alec are an amazing addition to the growing stable of well loved characters that Kindle has brought us, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future!

This one, book 2 in the trilogy, starts where book 1, Havoc, left off. You really need to read the first one or you'll never understand the dynamic taking place between Alex and Keyes.

Keyes's lingering doubts are always at the forefront of any happiness that they are so desperate to hold on to. They are so different in every way that you have to know that it has to be true love that's meant to and that will keep them together hopefully to equal a happy ever after. This time something bigger than themselves nearly destroys all they have built.

Their bond is beyond unique. As in the first book, I waited for the proverbial shoe to drop as lines began to get muddied and their worlds were heading to collide. It was just a matter of time, but what happens is anything but the utter destruction that Keyes expected. The way Alec loves this man is nothing except beautiful. He is there to remove any doubt of their deep connection. The truth is that they should never have worked...but they do.

They are still keeping their relationship a secret from Keye's motorcycle club, and Alex's office...but that may not last long. A LOT takes place in this story...they adopt a cute little dog, Nash,...they talk about marriage and a family, and Keyes makes one of the biggest mistakes of his life and nearly cost them everything. Order together with Havoc, is a pair that is full of emotion that creates a journey that will warm your heart. I look forward to more from these characters in the last book in the trilogy, Chaos, that only the very talented, Kindle Alexander, can create.

3 Stars because I like the characters

On AO3 this would be tagged as "fluff, shmoop, tooth-rotting fluff, seriously make an appointment with your dentist before reading this, YOU WILL NEED IT" and I probably would have skipped it. Once more an author took some really interesting and "spicy" ingredients and proceeded to turn them into the blandest meal possible.

Don't get me wrong: I liked this story just fine. It's just absolutely not the story I wanted from a book containing an ultra-violent biker gang called the Disciples of Havoc.

The Romeo and Juliet aspect of Key and Alec's relationship is well developed and the book spends a lot of time on each of their personal development throughout the story. They both undergo believable changes in personality and circumstances so that it is absolutely credible that the men we met in the first book would end up with the HEA they get here.

I just think I'm the wrong audience for a book that is about nothing BUT the personal development and angsting of the main protagonists. And then there's the fact that they basically make hearteyes at each for 100% of the time. All conflict is external, they are rock solid from page one. I never thought I would say this but a little bit of strife in the relationship would have been welcome after what felt like hundreds of pages of love declarations in word and deed.

The sex scenes are plenty and pretty hot though, so there is that. Also, there is a super cute puppy at some point.

Over all a nice story that I don't regret reading.

Order has taken us back into the lives of Keyes & Alec and brought us their dramatic conclusion to their unlikely love affair. If you could only choose the one your heart loves it may have made their lives so much more simple but we can't. What could a badass burly biker and an sex on stick suave attorney have in common ? On the outside they seem so different and mismatched but deep down they are soulmates. It appears that outward difference may have what brought them together but external forces, the beliefs of others and secrets of the past is what may tear them apart. Get ready for a steamy, emotional ride in this tale of two strong willed men that fate brings together. Loved them !

Order is the consummate conclusion to the Tattoos and Ties Duet. The amazing writing partnership that is Kindle Alexander once again blew me away with the continuing story of Keyes and Alec and how they struggle to keep their relationship on course.

Oh these two. Picking up right where we left off in Havoc, and you really must read that first, the lingering doubt particularly on the part of Keyes is always at the forefront of any happiness they are desperate to keep. And I'm still struck, perhaps as much as they are, at how different they are, with backgrounds that shouldn't equal a happily ever after. But they just fit. And quite perfectly I may add. The cruelty from both their parents did not stop either man from being wonderful with big hearts and an astonishing selfless nature. Their bond is beyond unique and they manage to bring out only the very best in the other.

I had a pit in my stomach as I waited for that proverbial shoe to drop as lines would undoubtedly get muddied and their worlds would collide. It was just a matter of time but what results is anything but the utter destruction Keyes expected. In fact, the way Alec loves his man is nothing short of beautiful. He is there to remove any doubt of their deep connection and made me well up with tears at how he manages to soothe that sexy biker time and time again.

Keyes and Alec should have never been. That constant worry that their secret will be exposed and Keyes club and Alec's office, not to mention his despicable family would ultimately sever their relationship, may have slowed them down but it didn't stop them. The passion and sexy trysts, and I was fanning myself and often, only strengthened their bond and it was all they needed to fight anyone and anything in their way.

A ton goes on in this second book but I never felt any of it to be too long or gratuitous. Every scene, every declaration of love was necessary in order to be able to wage the ultimate fight with the outside world that each knew was inevitable from the very first time Keyes and Alec laid eyes on each other. But I am here to say it was all worth it. The hardened biker and the impeccable attorney were simply meant to be and with a little soul by the name of Nash (who in the most subtle of ways steals the show more than once) by their sides, they are unstoppable.

Order together with Havoc is a duet that is full of emotion that guides a journey that will tug at your heartstrings. I loved every word and look forward to more from this crew of characters that only Kindle Alexander can create.

I really enjoyed this story. Though I would recommend reading Havoc first in order to enjoy the full experience of reading these two stories. I was disappointed in the start of this. There were too many moments of whiplash where Key went from certain in his feelings to unsure to wanting to walk away. That kind of thinking in a MC always annoys me, especially after they’ve already gone one way in their own head. But this is a relationship book. And these guys work on it. And I loved that. Loved that they ultimately never gave up in each other even when they wanted to, or probably should have. And it’s so damn sweet, and romantic. And I loved that too.

What I didn’t love however was that, like the first book, nothing at all of substance happened with the MC. Not a damn thing. When the whole crux of their year long relationship hangs on them staying home and never being seen by Key’s “brothers”, it was so disappointing to never have that come to a head. Never have any real conflict or resolution. That’s where the fault in this book lies, for me. I wanted more.

This was a really sweet, opposites attract romance that I would recommend romance lovers read. But it was just missing so much that I feel was promised.

*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*

Alec and Key’s journey continues in this book and it’s a exiting journey to follow. I was wrapped up in this story and didn’t want to stop reading.
The connection between them is intense and emotional, and I can literally feel the love flowing.
I feel for them both after what they experienced with their families and I think that’s what connects them to each other in a intense way.

No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings makes it easy to read and good dialogues makes it engaging.

The love scenes is tasteful and steamy.

A gorgeous mm romance.

💥💫💥💫💥5 The Keyes to Love Stars💫💥💫💥💫

What can I say but WOW! Overused, I know, but that is my feeling about Order and Keyes and Alec. Their love has blossomed over the months they have been together, but when Alec, a ADA, has to choose between his love for Keyes and his career when another DA has it out to ruin everything. Keyes has to choose between his love for Alec and his obligations to his brothers in the Disciples of Havoc MC. Sound intriguing? Read Havoc first then 1-click Order to find out if Keyes and Alec can overcome all of the obstacles flung at them to keep them apart!

4.5* I stayed up SOOO late reading this but wanted to know how they were ever going to get their lives to where they didn't have to hide who they were and the love that they had for each other. These two couldn't be more different from the outside but when you get to the heart of them they're the same.

I felt the turmoil that each had, the love that they had and what was best for each other being on each others mind at all times. What they had was real and they had to make it work so they could be together as a couple.

I loved this book and made me feel these two while holding my breath that no matter that they were going to get their HEA.

Book Two in the Tattoos and Ties Duet Series gives us another look at these two amazing men and there struggle to find that balance in their lives to be together. They will have to overcome so many obstacles and self- doubt to find there happiness but as you watch the story unfold you can’t help feel they will always find a way to be together. Alec & Keyes are two of the newest incredible characters that Kindle Alexander have introduced us to and you won’t help falling for these men from page one right up to you see the words The End.

Yet another hit by this author. If you miss SOA or love MC romance (like I do) then you are going to love Order. Keyes Dixon is the new Opie Winston. A teddy bear wrapped in an intimidating package. Nobody loves his mister like Alec. Book 2 picks up where Havoc left off. Violence, intriguing characters, hated villains, and HAF sexy times between Key and Alec (whose chemistry is off the charts) make Order a must read. I hated reading those two dreaded words ‘the end’.

I love this book/series! This book starts off where book 1 left off. I love Alec and Keyes! Great characters. Keyes is part of an MC club. Alec is an attorney. Together they shouldn’t work but they so do. The question is with so many obstacles in their way can they make it work? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK/SERIES!

HMMM I don't know how to describe my feelings after reading this duet. As always the story is wonderful but still lack of thrill and angst. It is a true love story between complete oposite characters..one biker-one layer..one dark and one light.
Lovely, sexy, fun, dark but still wiht not enough angst to keep me on my toes.

Overal, my rate for duet is 3,5 stars.

Havoc normally doesn’t breed order; in fact, it usually looks to devastate, to destroy everything in its path regardless of the casualties that occur. But it’s never been up against two men hellbent on ensuring the disarray somehow becomes more manageable, maybe even controlled if the obstacles can be maneuvered around in a way that will allow some sort of modicum to be reached.

Alec Pierce and Keyes Dixon live by a code - one that upholds justice and one that upholds the dictates of the brotherhood - neither saw one another coming or ever thought that a one-night stand would turn into something they both desperately want and in some ways need to give them what’s been missing from their lives regardless of how busy and full they are.

And here’s the thing about test two - if their feelings for each other were only based on sex, there would be no reason for these two to fight as strongly as they do to find a way to be together despite their differing worlds, so the fact that they do is a testament of what they’ve found in one another and it also proves that when it comes to matters of the heart, the law, a moral code, and a brotherly bond doesn’t compare to the all-consuming love two people share even as they stand on opposite ends of the law and perhaps even life.

Alec and Keyes’ loyalties may come into question by those around them due to the destruction that their relationship might cause their respective alliances and livelihoods, but when it comes to one another, there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to prove just how essential they are to each other and their protective natures come out in a multitude of ways, proving just how willing they are to give up parts of who they are, so that it’s easier to be by one another’s side as long as they can.

Kindle Alexander does a great job showing Alec and Keyes’ internal struggles when it comes to what they’re willing to give up, willing to concede to in order to be together. And boy does Alexander put their two heroes through their paces…making them question everyone and everything around them, and while Alec and Keyes know that it might be easier just to give one another up, that’s one line they’re unwilling to cross, and as long as they hold on to what they’ve built together, the havoc that surrounds them will have bend to the will of these two alpha males because they’ll turn their lives upside down just to be able to keep one another and bring some order back into their lives…but this time…on their terms.

I so enjoyed reading this conclusion to the Tattooed and Ties series. I couldn't wait to once again reconnect with Alec and Keyes after the first book Havoc and the wait was more than worth it. Another excellent book from Kindle Alexander who writes M/M stories so beautifully; with characters that are so descriptive you can't help but gravitate towards them at breakneck speed.

What I enjoyed about these books are the differences in Alec and Keyes backgrounds, they are both from different walks of life, even their looks are a complete contrast. Alec comes from a rich family upbringing and works as an Assistant District Attorney but that doesn't mean everything is hunky dory in his life; far from it, and Keyes is a patched in member of an MC biker club; it's that difference that will cause problems in their relationship that becomes extremely dangerous and the tension and anticipation kept me on the edge of my seat many a time. I absolutely adored both characters but Alec stole that little extra piece of my heart.

Emotions overflowed in this story, with some angst, lots of twists and turns which kept this story flowing perfectly. This book, in fact, this duet, was a definite winner for me. Awesome!!!

Please no no no...not Dev and Blaine, I'm assuming and I shouldn't, but if Dev gets a book and a mm one at that, I really want to see him with his own big bad alpha, not Blaine, just saying.

This book could have gone in so many directions and I'm glad Kindle kept it about Alec and Key. Alec had so many obstacles to push through to get the life he wanted with Key and poor Key had to fight so many mental barriers it was heartbreaking.

And can't forget the addition of adorable Nash :)

The fierce intensity and love these two beautiful men shared was exactly what I wanted to read.

Another great Kindle book to add to my shelf!
