This was a pretty good read. When her brother steals money from a mob boss 25K to help his sick mother and has 10 days to pay it off with interest. Samantha goes to Gavriil to plead his case and agrees to his demand of having her to pay off the debt. I liked Gavriil he was an alpha male mob boss whose name causes fear in people including Sam. Gavril is intrigued with Samantha so he sends her to his house to wait for him. When Gavril gets home she falls to her knees Gavril is not a gentleman. Overtime they both start to enjoy being with each other. This book had a lot of action in it and I liked that about. The sex scenes were hot and heavy. I love reading Ms. Parker's mafia romance this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more of them.

Zoey Parker can write very memorable mafia tales and Gavril and Samantha's story was another exciting suspenseful mafia read.
Devon, Samantha's brother can't come up with the $25,000.00 dollars he stole from mob boss, Gavril Stepanov. So his sister, Samantha goes to Gavril's business and haphazardly offers herself to compensate for her ungrateful brother's debt!
This story was intense and just when I thought "Gavril: A Mafia Romance (Stepanov Mafia)" would be predictable, Parker gave some very daring 'who knew moments' and several twists and turns leading to a very satisfying HEA!

i only read i think 1 book by this author so i was kinda familiar with the work..
its has drama, suspense and some murder and took me awhile to warm up to Gav.. at first he was like all mob bosses cruel takes what he wants and doesn't give a crap.. and when Samantha brother Devin one of his lower indebt drug dealers owes him 25k she ask if she can pay it off to save her worthless brother.. he agrees and she becomes his sex slave? Even if he acts cold his inner thoughts are different.. he's starting to fall for her.. their nights and days are filled with hawt sex and slowly getting to know one another until she gets knocked up.. (guess birth control didnt work..) more drama unfolds can Gav keep his new little family safe? Or is he going to lose them
Agnst, no ow/om drama but mentions tiny of his past, drama, no cheating, sexy times, not a manwhore not a virgin.. mentions of (he is a mob boss) torture and mentions of abortion pills also the blurb was abit misleading there was no force wedding.. :/ unless she meant force relationship at first?

Mafia romance
Dev owes the mafia money and he has a short period of time to pay them back or he will be no more.
His sister Sam goes to gavrill to work off the debt, that's the story in a nutshell.
Predictable and no surprises in this romance. Characters and dialogue were ok.
Some inconsistencies though, gav tears off Sam's knickers and in the next chapter they are good as new. Did she manage to pop home or to the shops for a new pair.
I don't think every woman wants to be spanked or punished sexually, I wish this topic would just stop because it's boring.
What happened to romance and mutual respect. I find the chasing, flirting and the gentle longing more enjoyable.
Not the best but not bad either. It's one of those frustrating stories that could have been powerful but was rushed.

From what I can tell of this story, the majority takes places over a month? 🤷🏼♀️ There are some annoying continuity errors that had me actually shaking my head. Gavriil notes that Samantha is wearing skinny jeans with knee high boots, then the next paragraph she’s stepping out of her jeans. He also shreds her panties but when they have sex at his house, he rips them off again?!? There are also a few glaringly obvious grammar/spelling mistakes that took my attention away from the story and again had me actually shaking my head. Another complaint; Why the F does everyone’s name have to be shortened to a three letter nickname?!? Dev! Sam! Effing Gav! It really annoyed me! I read reviews that this story would be bad, and it lived up to expectations

great style, suspenseful mafia romance, i gotta check, but i think Zoey is a newbie author to me .. i will see. i keep running into lots of new authors lately. love that ... adding more authors u have gotta check out asap!! so cool!! well developed characters. great story. interesting and entertaining!!

Gavriil and Samantha’s story is well written with plenty of drama, action, suspense, violence, and love. I was totally intrigued and hooked throughout and look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.

Zero stars
It was a very bad experience.
The heroine is a total whore, she goes on and on about how her brother is unworthy her mother's love and how she is the perfect daughter who sacrifice everything just to take care of her mother, and how uncaring her brother is because he doesn't ask or talk to his mother, but when she went and lived in the asshole's house she did not even think about her mother.
And she is happy because everyday he gives her a present for satisfying him in bed just like any animal

One or two...
I admit I only got through chapter three in this book. There is a mistake on just about every page. This mistake showcases the authors lackadaisical approach to this book and potentially her fans. The name, title, of the book is Gavriil . The character name is Gavril. If an author thinks so little of a book that she did not fix this tells me I should think so little of it too. If others have mentioned this I apologize for the repetition.

I don’t even know how to explain why this book was so bad. But let’s start with the simple fact the title is ‘Gavriil’ and yet the entire book his name is spelt Gavril. And he starts off being a disgusting human and then a new chapter starts and a few weeks have passed and the girl magically has feelings for his soft side and yet we never see their relationship grow. Or why she likes him. It was a lot of nonsense to me.

This absolutely enthralling, suspenseful mafia romance will draw you in from the first page and you will be totally captivated until the last page is turned. It has a well-paced story-line & plot filled with unexpected incidences. The unique characters are well-developed & display perfectly human, realistic emotional traits & flaws.
There is: a domineering & cruel at times mafia don (Gravriil Stepanov), a selfish deceitful brother (Devin Conway), a loyal caring sister (Samantha), mafia, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, danger, threats, violence, drugs, crime, business deals, fear, emotional turmoil, betrayal, doubts, abduction, delusions, jealousy, anger, hatred, conflict, guns blazing, declarations, happiness, love & steamy scenes.
I enjoyed reading this mafia romance & would recommend this mafia romance to people who enjoy reading this genre. I am certain that you will not be disappointed in this book.

I have to admit, when I first started reading this I put it down after a couple of chapters and switched to another book, I just didn't like the character of Gavriil or where I thought the storyline was going at that time.
I went back to the book and was unexpectedly pleasantly surprised by the development of the storyline and characters. I thought it was great and really enjoyed it. Although there are explicit scenes, it is not many that overpower the storyline, which I thought was great because recently I've found I've started to skip through these scenes if there's too many off them. Instead it concentrated on a storyline which had some twists and turns and action and what explicit scenes were in, were in context to the storyline.
I did wonder at the start why Samantha, who was the sole carer for a sick mother, she would leave her by herself invaded for, but later that issue was solved.
I'm not sure the description quite fits the storyline.

What some people will do for family even when they do not deserve it! Samantha's brother Devin was in deep with the Mafia over the typical, stupid things he does without any thought to how it will affect others. This time instead of allowing him to be killed because he won't/can't pay back the money he stole, Samantha steps in to save him but she had no idea at what price. I just love the books where we get to see the "soft" loving side of these made men and Gavriil Stepanov's story did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and mark Zoey Parker as an author to follow. I can truthfully say I have yet to read a book that disappointed me.

Gavril is a domineering and mob boss. When he discovers that one of his employees Devin is stealing from him he seeks out retribution. Devin has a sick mom and a sister Samantha who takes care of her. Gavril decides that not only does he want his money back but he wants Samantha too. This was a great suspenseful mafia romance. The story was well written with an engaging storyline and interesting characters. There was plenty of drama, action, suspense, violence, danger, emotional turmoil, jealousy, anger, passion and love. This is definitely a must read it you like mafia romance.

I liked Gavriil so much more than I thought I was going to! At the start of the book he definitely comes across like the bad boy, mafia boss but as the book continues you start to see a much softer side to him.
After Samantha barters herself to Gavriil to pay off her brother's debt she starts to realized that she is developing feelings for him. Gone is the aggressive and controlling man she first met and in his place is someone who puts Sam's wellbeing and best interests above his own.
I really liked seeing the change in Gavriil throughout the book and I was so happy that things turned out the way they did for these two.

Shockingly Good
I am truly surprised how much I liked this book. I have never before read a mafia romance and, frankly, would never have thought it was my cup of tea. But, this book contained great character development and the plot was extremely engaging. I dare say I would even consider rereading this! There were a few flaws that made me give this a 4/5 instead of a five. Some one the scenes where left unfinished (for a lack of better word). It was like the author just wanted to continue the story without remembering to explain how one got from point A to point B, but my imagination filled in the few plot holes quite nicely. Overall this was a thoroughly enjoyable read!

This was a fast paced romance. Things happened so quick, and there was no emotional backstory that really made me connect with the characters.There was no chemistry between the two, and honestly it was just too rushed. The whole book was basically them having meaningless sex. There was nothing over-the-top about this. I felt that Gavril was more of a low thug than a mafia boss.(Also why is the title Gavriil, but in the book it's just Gavril??) He didn't have the same ruthless elegance as some of the other Mafia Bosses that authors like Cora Reilly comes up with. Not my favorite.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a quick time filler, this is great for you.

This wasn't the worst book I've ever read. Found it to be a little unrealistic (I think thats the word I'm looking for). Sam had her high points and low points. She should've cut her brother loose a long time ago then she wouldn't have been in that mess. Gav is the stereotypical Russian "bad boy" who just needs a woman's touch. It's a quick read maybe a 90 minutes or so. I don't know I didn't dislike the book but i wasn't overly impressed with it either. So three stars is all I can give this

Could only find this on Google playbook. And for some reason, it was cut into 3 books... its f*** 180 pages book, why divided it into 3 pieces? It seemed unnecessary and can quickly look more expensive that way.
My, maybe, biggest problem with this book in itself, was that Sam didn't got to get mad about Eric. She didn't seem like a person who would think Gavriil had done wrong by him. It wasn't he's fault, poor guy... And then there was the problem with the two guys trying to break in, I don't think we got an answer who that was.

Sam doesn’t know what to do her brother owes $50,000 to the mob and he has ten does to pay it. With a sick mom and making barely anything to keep a roof over their heads Sam decides to appeal to the head of the mob Gavril who agrees to take her as a slave for a while. Her brother Devin wants to be a hero and save her but he really wants to use her as a pawn but Sams happy with Gavril but then she gets pregnant and everything goes south. I loved this story even with everything going on.

This is a well-written and paced Mafia Romance read with suspense, intrigue, steam, and a surprise. The main characters have substance with the H being a domineering, deliberate and determined Mafia Don. The h is sweet, caring and selfless while her drug dealer brother thieves from his employer and doesn't seem to warrant his sister's care and loyalty. What begins as a contract morphs into something else. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Violent Mafia romance which starts of with a girl giving herself over to a mafia boss to save her brother. Morally complicated to my mind because Gavriil is truly a really nasty piece of work and is happy to kill at the drop of a hat. He also has no scruples about anything. You will see what I am getting at when you read the book. The author made a choice in how she worked the characters it is up to us if we accept or deny them. Either way it is a very good story.

This story was so far fetched, I had a hard time relating to any of the characters. The heroine offers herself to the hero on a silver platter, for him to do as he pleases. However all this she is doing for her brother and mother but she had not giving one fkk about her mom once she moved in.
One point for the whore.
Also it's hard to see what she saw in the hero since he was an ass during most of the book.. Almost dnf'd but I sucked throught it..

Also it's hard to see what she saw in the hero since he was an ass during most of the book.. Almost dnf'd but I sucked throught it..

Gavril was intense
This book gets better in layers. Gavril has a personality that build towards the end. When I read the first two chapters I originally thought he wasn’t that deliberate in his actions. As the story progressed though he got better. His feelings for Samantha grew stronger since he didn’t really want her at the start of their bargain. But by the middle that all changes. Good story and I will definitely will read more from this author.

What a brilliant book, she gives herself to him to save her brother but didn't take into consideration that she would fall in love with him. What started out as a contract soon turned into something that neither of them thought would happen. Gavrill was a man with a mission determined to get what was owed to him by any way he could.

Gavriil is a mafia boss and Devin is a drug dealer working for him. Devin has a sick mum and his sister, Samantha looks after her. When Gavriil finds out that Devin has been stealing from him and gives him a beating and ultimatum. Loved this book, full of betrayal, heartbreak and passion. A must read

La sinopsis del libro dice mucho de la historia. Es como un resumen. Así que no tengo tanto que contarles y mi reseña será corta.
Samantha Conway es nuestra protagonista del libro junto con el sexy mafioso Gavriil.
Samantha cuida a su madre enferma junto con su hermano Devin Conway, quien está involucrado con mafiosos.
La desesperación y la falta de dinero para cubrir los gastos necesarios para los cuidados de su madre, ocasionan que Devin robe a Gavriil. A lo que cuando Gavriil se entera lo golpea hasta casi matarlo pero al saber que lo hizo por su madre enferma, Gavriil recuerda a su propia madre enferma así que le da unso días para juntar el dinero que le robó y más. Ese día llega totalmente golpeado a casa y le cuenta a Samantha en lo que anda metido.
Devin sabe que jamás podrá juntar tal cantidad en tan poco tiempo.
"Por primera vez desde que entré al cuarto, Devin me miró a los ojos. Ambos estaba rojos e hinchados. Había estado llorando".
Samantha preocupada por la vida de su hermano decide ir hablar con el jefe de la mafia, Gavriil. Pero las cosas no salen bien así que decide ofrecerse como paga por la deuda de su hermano a lo que Gavriil atraído por ella acepta y se la lleva a su casa donde la mantiene "cautiva".
Bajó los ojos y luego me miró desde debajo de sus gruesas pestañas. "Yo ... trabajaré para ti. Haré lo que sea que necesites."
"Lo que yo necesite," repetí.
Ella se sonrojó y asintió, mordiéndose el regordete labio inferior. La miré de arriba abajo, haciendo mi mejor esfuerzo para distinguir la forma de ella debajo de su suéter abultado. "Te das cuenta de lo que me estás ofreciendo, ¿no?"
Sus ojos revolotearon y luego asintió. "Lo hago."
Me incliné hacia atrás y crucé los brazos. Quizás los miércoles no fueron tan malos después de todo.
"Está bien", le dije, sonando poco convencido. "Entonces desnúdate".
Gavril la mantiene en su casa y la usa para sus necesidades sexuales. Lo que ella desde un principio disfruta a pesar de que Gavriil es demasiado frio con ella, esto es solo hasta que descubren que Sam está embarazada y entonces la quiere convertir en su esposa.
La sinopsis del libro promete una historia buena y entretenida. Tenía ganas de leer una historia corta y siendo de mafia y con esa sinopsis, pues que mucho mejor.
Que decepción con el libro. Es raro porque de hecho no tiene tan mala puntuación. Tiene positivas reviews en goodreads pero lamentablemente a mi, no me gustó.
El problema con la historia es en como se desarrolla. Sentí todo tan forzado y en esta ocasión todo los clichés me molestaron.
La historia no tenía drama y nisiquiera se fue forjando una historia que diera pie a darme algo de drama, es como si la autora quisiera meterle a la fuerza o de la nada algo de emoción a la historia y zas !!! Acabó siendo un desastre.
Tal ves si la autora no hubiera metido esa parte del hermano a la historia, donde me lo cambia por completo. Hubiera resultado como una historia de amor. Linda y entretenida.
Lo que destruyó para mí la historia....

Me sale con que el hermano era el villano. La victima pasó a ser un ser despreciable que en realidad no amaba a su madre ni amaba a su hermana. Al principio de la historia se lee claramente que el todo lo que hace lo hace por ellas y después la autora me quiso vender que Devin era el villano?
“Tienes más lealtad para un hombre que me amenazó, me golpeó y me avergonzó. Quieres estar con el hombre que arruinó mi reputación, y todo porque no sabe cómo usar un condón. Porque te dejó embarazada, y ahora sientes este lazo enfermo con él. Deberías sentir un vínculo conmigo. Yo soy tu familia. Soy tu sangre. Y si no puedes ver eso, entonces aún te has ido más de lo que pensé ".
No podía estar mas de acuerdo con lo que dice Devin a Samantha.
Resulta que la zorra de Samantha desde un principio disfrutó ser el juguete sexual de Gavril. En ningun momento sufrió ni lamentó estar ahí. Luego de la nada ya estaba enamorada de Gavril.
La dura palabra envió mariposas revoloteando a través de mi pecho, y sorprendentemente, también a través de la parte inferior de mi cuerpo. En algún lugar mezclado con el shock y el terror era ... ¿atracción? No tenía ningún sentido para mí. Gavril era claramente un monstruo.
No me dió nada que me gustara la autora. No tengo nada que rescatar.
No me gustaron los personajes. No simpatice con ninguno y desde luego no sentí nada al leer esta historia.
Samantha te vas a mi lista de los personajes más odiados.
Hasta aquí llego con mi opinión sobre la historia así que me despido de ustedes por hoy.

Wickedly Dangerous & Perfect
A mafia boss is not a man to be messed with and true to his word Gavril is as lethal as they come!! So when Samantha steps in and offers herself up in order to square away her brother’s debt Gavril is all to happy to oblige!!
The story was intense but considering it’s a mafia story it’s to be expected and it was absolutely perfect!
