This is less a meaningful book about leadership and more an extended commercial for their product. You get lots of carefully selected and framed facts without much context. I don't disagree with anything the book says, but I suspect there are tradeoffs to their policy prescriptions, rather than simply a free lunch.

Although obtaining the certification of Great Place to Work is a great satisfaction for company’s I didn’t find the book to be as great as I expected. Non the less it is always great to know how to improve and see what employees think of their companies, hence take it into account to use it as best practices for our own.

Too much a commercial and not enough how to get there. Still some good take away points but much better books out there on leadership development.

A lot of good statistical information. However I was hoping for more explicit hints and tips on how to build a great workplace

Diversity and trust, trust and diversity.

The points here all seem to boil down to this. I don't recall much actionable advice beyond common sense, except for involving a consultant.

This book has some great ideas regarding management. In reading it, I realized that issues that I face on a day to day routine are not isolated to just me. Other managers encounter the same things. This is a great resource to help identify behaviors and characteristics that as managers we need to focus on.
