What a great book for the researcher or even just the guy that wants to know the history of western wear. I had no idea what fashion the western wear was all about. It is entertaining and fun. Loved all the pictures also.

Such a fun book to read. The Old West had some crazy clothes and it was wonderful to dive deeper into the history. I read it on the Internet Archive.

Beautiful and interesting but needed more (text and images) about where some of the styles where appropriated from in terms of the Native American and Mexican dress.

This is essentially an exhibition catalog. As such it's beautifully illustrated and the essays are well-written.

I wrote this book with Holly - a ten year labor of love (or vanity project...) My homage to the great American designers Nudie, Rodeo Ben, & Turk.
