All through the month of December as you read with your child, you will discover all the great gifts God has given. Each day starts with the gift God has given us, a verse, and the story behind the gift. It is a journey through the bible. Each day ends with thankfulness of that special gift and a promise of the best gift ever with the question do you know what this gift may be. It is a great way to end your day with your child and to pray together.

If you value a devotion that will instill thankfulness of who God is, you will appreciate this devotion. The illustrations are colorful and the narration is thoughtful with a hope to discuss deep spiritual needs. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful family devotional for the Advent (Christmas) season! It is well written and engaging. It takes you from creation to the birth of Jesus by showing you how God has given us wonderful gifts. The greatest gift is Jesus. Each day shows ways we can give thanks to God for all He has done for us and pointing us to the greatest gift, Jesus. The devotions are easy to read and present truth in an easy to grasp way. There are great questions to ask kids to get them to join in the devotional time. Each day ends with a wonderful prayer that sums up the devotion and points to God. The illustrations are top notch as well. A great book for the whole family at Christmas.

First of all, I could not read the text because it was too small and when i tried to zoom in it got blurry.
I love the idea of each chapter, it would be nice in one year to go through the book, but I don’t see me doing a traditional reading each Christmas.
The illustrations are nice, but some are complicated. The book does not make me wait more for Christmas. It’s the kind of book you can go through all year around and not feel that something is missing

This is a great book to use with young children during the Advent season. It has questions to encourage family conversations that allow even the youngest family member to participate. Every devotion/lesson ends with a leading question making you anticipate what, "The Greatest Gift Ever Given," could be.

Good for our young kids ages 3 & 8, since it’s short and includes quick discussion questions and a prayer. Starting in Genesis, the devotions focus on people and events in Scripture leading up to Jesus’ birth and says this was good, but “God’s gift is even better” (Jesus being the gift). I don’t believe will use this one again, but I’d recommend for kids between 5-9.

Beautiful art. Every day leading up to Christmas you can think of God. A few things didn't line up with my religion, so I won't be buying this book, but it's really good to think of Jesus and not just presents before Christmas.
