It was a very good book about a General that has been overlooked. After you get by the first chapter, which is almost completely about cricket, which me as an American have no clue about, lol. I enjoyed the book and how it was written. It gave insight into a number of situations in WW2 that help me understand some the battles and personalities. I highly recommend this book to fill a gap in the British Command structure.
