The writing in this book reflects the author's feelings towards her lover, including the ups and downs of their relationship. In addition to the lesbian representation, the author provides historical context throughout the book to help tie the setting together. This is an easy read that is sweet and to the point. Christa Reinig says a lot in a few words. I absolutely adored this collection of poetry.
