The wild vibrancy of Kitty’s new home in Havana must be infectious. Why else would the naturally cautious rum distiller have succumbed to the sudden desire to seize one night with a stranger? But if it’s shocking to learn that César is actually her powerful, elusive boss, it’s nothing compared to Kitty’s latest bombshell—she’s pregnant!
Lose yourself in this sparkling pregnancy romance!
When it comes to a Harlequin with consequences in the title, you can pretty much guess that said consequence arrives nine months after a night of steamy shenanigans and eats, sleeps, wails and poops.
I don’t even know your name…” “It doesn’t matter.”
No point denying it I was sold on the hot Havana nights theme. I’ve never visited Cuba so I’ve no idea whether some artistic license was in play here, but I don’t pick up a Harlequin Presents for realism and that’s no slight on the imprint or their authors because I pick them up for the romance, the vibrant colourful locations and the sexy men who sweep the ladies off their feet with both forgetting all about the miracle invention that is contraception in the process.
And that’s exactly what Louise Fuller brings her reader with a sizzling chemistry between a couple who throw caution to the wind and deal with the aftermath like responsible grown-ups with little conflict. I’ll definitely be checking out more from her.

Cesar the rich sexy Cuban with the green eyes sounded delicious and Kitty the British women who was carrying his child after one hot encounter. Sounds great but I couldn’t get past this setting being in Cuba. He owns a rum empire, in Cuba?! It belonged to his parents, come on, Cubans lost everything after the revolution and everything belongs to Castro. Just ask the Bacardi people who fled Cuba and left everything behind. Also, Cubans can’t travel freely, ever!! I’m Cuban so this story was just to fantastic to be believable, it should have been set maybe in Brazil or on one of the islands that are free. The story dragged and I didn’t care for the ending.
I’ve now read this a couple more times and still loving it. Louise Fuller is a new author to me but one I will try again. I really loved this book. Fabulous characters, a scorching romance in a beautiful location and a totally authentic romance which develops logically. I loved the adult approach to dealing with the pregnancy after a hot meeting between the h/H. I’m puzzled by some of the negative comments but really I shouldn’t be since we all like different things.
The hero Cesar is just delicious! He’s not cruel or hard, but is definitely still an Alpha. The heroine, Kitty is gutsy with a sad backstory which totally explains her fear of love. I really recommend this as an emotional and enjoyable romance.
I really enjoyed this one. Good find!

Consequences of a Hot Havana Night by Louise Fuller is the story of Cesar and Kitty. This was a classic Harlequin Romance with the well off hero but with a strong heroine who had a very quick hot encounter that turned out to not be so quick. They end up meeting again but with a boss/employee type theme. I am a fan of Harlequin Romances from the first time I picked one up. I know that I am getting a fantasy story that may not be real in real life. Is one of the reason I love reading is to break from the real world sometimes. Enjoyed their story.
Their roles were reversed from the typical HPland of fantasies. We have an accidental meeting which capitulated into a one night stand when the h finds herself enraptured by the very Handsome H. Kitty is certainly the feisty one she seduced the Cesar on their first meeting and then threw him out because she felt she betrayed her dead husband. She wanted him but refused giving hi! Her love out of the fear of losing him. Seven weeks later then met again and found themselves together on this night she discovers possible pregnancy. After having it confirmed they were focused on their baby. Soon their denial of attraction overwhelmed them they failed to keep their hands off each other. Resuming the relationship they were taking gradual steps. Caesar was the perfect hero he was patient and loving. His fear was living and loving but soon they sorted out everything and got their HEA. It was a bit slow and no epilogue but the passion was just n par.
Consequences of a Hot Havana Night was just as sultry and passionate as the title suggests. Not only did I fall for our adorably clueless couple, but I also fell in love with Cuba itself, which turned out to be a wonderful backdrop for this romance to unfold.
Boss/employee romances can be a whole lot of fun. And in this story we also had a surprise pregnancy which added a whole other level of tension to Kitty and César’s relationship. Or non-relationship, actually, as they both tried so very hard to *not* fall in love, each for their own justifiable reasons. Read More

This book took a while to get rolling, but once it did, I enjoyed the read! If you are as addicted to Harlequin Presents stories as I am, you will definitely want to pick this one up!
I typically enjoy the HP line of category romances but this one was a bit dull. There was little chemistry between the characters and their relationship seemed a little dry. I’m finding it increasingly difficult to find a HP with memorable characters lately. The Heroes seem to have become less alpha and more emotional. I hope it’s an aberration since I get the bundles every month and have yet to touch many of them.
As a long time Harlequin Presents reader I was pleasantly surprised by how good Consequences of a Hot Havana Night by Louise Fuller was. Its not often you see Cuba represented as a location. This was a very enjoyable read with likable characters, believable back stories and loads of chemistry. #ConsequencesOfAHotHavanaNight #NetGalley
A big thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin romance for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I enjoyed this book. I loved the setting. I found it interesting what Kitty's job was-inventing a new rum flavor. A one night stand turns into something much more. I think most romance readers will enjoy. I rate it a 4.
A man and woman met have sex and seven weeks later meet again she pregnant. This is where the problem come in at. The woman was married for five years, her husband died after a illness the men had issue with self. The outcome you have to read the book. This book was a quick read.
I received this advance copy from the publisher and NetG alley for my unbiased opinion.
It was ok, but I wouldn't want to re-read it. Wasn't horrible but neither character was super memorable, their connection was just ok. I felt both of them would have been just fine without the other, they didn't have the once in a lifetime connection. Also I didn't care for heroine all that much, she was too sad of a character and too fearful. P.
I normally can't read Mills and Boon books, as they are far too melodramatic for me, but I really enjoyed this book until I saw typo after typo and missing or repeated words. I liked the two main characters and how this book was set in Havana centered around a rum distillery, but I nearly didn't finish reading it.
César likes to tease, ‘I’m Cuban—we practically invented dancing. So, yes, I can dance.’ The man is just so considerate, 'later, he re-tied the strings of her bikini and she smoothed his hair into some sort of order. ‘It’s the least I can do after ravishing you.’ I liked this book, I liked César.
This was book was okay at best. The writing was excellent but the back story for Cesar wasn’t developed enough and the characaters just weren’t interesting. I was extremely disappointed in the end. Not what I am used to reading when I pick up a Harlequin book.
H owns a rum factory, among other businesses, h is a chemist working to develop a new rum. The setting was Havana, Cuba, which was original, and h was reluctant to marry, H wanted marriage. What story needed most was an epilogue, story ended abruptly!
She came from England to work on two new run tastes. He was her mysterious boss. Both had last issues that made them leary of relationships. Can these two people find confront in the other? Can they learn that love heals all?
