Ich habe auch The Silent Waters von diesen Ebooks gelesen, den Rest habe ich aber auf deutsch gelesen. Da ich bereits etwas zu The Silent Waters gesagt habe, möchte ich diese Rezension einzig und allein The Gravity Of Us widmen.
Dieses Buch war so schön geschrieben, es war eine seifenblasenzarte Geschichte, die mich dennoch mit Tränen in den Augen zurückgelassen hat. Ich hatte so viel Redebedarf, während ich dieses Buch gelesen habe, weil ich so so viel gefühlt habe. Das Buch war einfach wunderwundervoll. Selbstverständlich war das Ende etwas klischeehaft, aber nach allem, was in dieser Geschichte passiert ist, hatte ich es dringend nötig. Liebe 🤍

Fire between high and low
Unbelievable!! Did you think it couldn't get better than The Air He Breathes? I think we are all in for the challenge of a book lifetime!!
This book was exceptional..truly a heart wrenching, gut trolling, life changing book that grips you from the beginning. Their friendship was unconventional, true and supportive. The loved each other even though the came from two different worlds, they belonged together. Their idiosyncrasies defined their lives together. Logan and Alyssa were it. They were okay, Logan Francis Silverstone and Alyssa Marie Walters, even when they weren't.
I shrugged.
She shrugged.
I laughed.
She laughed.
I parted my lips.
She parted her lips.
I leaned in.
She leaned in.
Our lips locked as our souls became forever intertwined, and even though my feet were planted firmly on the ground, I’d never in my life felt so high.
And Kellan.., what can you say about a brother that did everything for Logan... even when he didn't get anything in return. The true meaning of family love. And when he needs you- all he wants is to be with you and show you he loves you. I fell in love with him just as much as I loved Logan, for completely different reasons.
This book will give you the feels, and take you through an emotional journey that I wasn't sure how was going to end. Tears were prevalent, sobs were loud, and my heart pounded as I read this book. This book is truly amazing, and deserves more than 5*****stars. This is an experience you don't want to miss.

I'm completely and obliviously in awe of this book. I cannot even begin to say what I've gone through over the past few hours (because I didn't put this book down once). Every single book by BC is unimaginably amazing, but this book tore out my heart so many times. So much love... I cannot even begin to explain.
Maggie was such an outspoken child, even into her teens...her voice was loud. Although she didn't speak a word. Going through the tragedy that defined her was something I cannot even begin to express. But Brooks was there for her ... right from the start, and he was there for her when he didn't even realize it. Life goes on, words that needed to be said, couldn't be communicated, but the love was there. Always
"Someday you’re going to wake up and leave your house, Magnet, and you’re going to discover the world. Someday you’re going to see the whole wide world, Maggie May, and on that day, when you step outside and breathe in your first breath, I want you to find me. No matter what, find me, because I’m going to be the one to show it to you. I’m going to help you cross off your to-do list. I’m gonna show you the whole wide world."
These are the words that brought them together more than once... without ever speaking them allowed. Many years of heartbreak and longing made Maggie and Brooks who they were. Just hold my hand, and squeeze twice, and tell me you love this book as much as I do. Just give me 5 minutes to tell you what I mean without saying one single word. This section of my review means more to the readers of this book. Makes my heart sing. I promise you will not regret reading this book. It is truly epic.

Every single time I read this authors books I'm just floored, and never cease to be amazed. This story is no exception. I'm not sure what it is like to grow up lonely and broken like Graham, but I know what that feels like when you don't have unconditional love from someone who is supposed to give it to you. This story was written perfectly.
Lucy is just so beautiful, inside and out, and has so much to give. Graham needs this from the very beginning. There are twists and turns that are kind of hard to fathom at times, but I think they were needed in order to get the full picture of this story.
I'm not sure why I read this authors books at night, but it always seems to happen, and I can't put them down. So I spend all night reading and I can't fall asleep. However, completely worth it. If I could give more than 5***** I would.

I read these books separately and these are those reviews. I hope you enjoy them and that you love these books as much as I do.
*THE AIR HE BREATHES*
I had heard friends talk about this book for a while and finally got the chance to read it and I am so glad I did. This is a story that will have you crying from the very beginning. It will also have you laughing, will break your heart and make you wish for happily ever after. Because sometimes too much pain is a loss that can not be healed. Tristan has lost his wife and child while Elizabeth has lost her husband. When they meet, she sees something in him that she feels inside herself, a broken soul. Can they help each other and learn to breathe again? What is Tanner's secret and will it destroy both Tristan and Elizabeth? I read a lot of books and once in a while I come across a story that just touches my heart in a way that no other has and it stays with me and I want everyone to know about it. This is a first for me from Brittainy C. Cherry and it will not be the last. I loved this story and I hope you give it a try and love it too.

This story is full of pain, heartache and a love that may never be. Alyssa and Logan are best friends and from different worlds. She has dreams and he just wants to survive. Life is hard for them both and when Logan finally hits bottom, will he take everyone with him? When tragedy hits his brother, will Logan come back home for good?
I loved this story but it will have you crying so have plenty Kleenex handy.

Moments in our life are what define us. It can make it great or it can leave us speechless. When tragedy strikes Maggie at a young age, it leaves her speechless. And nothing anyone does will get her to talk. She communicates with them but not with her voice.
Brooks is the boy that Maggie has loved since she was very young and their friendship has kept them both going. When Maggie didn't want to be around anyone, it was Brooks and hos music player that got through to her.
Brooks is Maggie's brother Calvin's best friend. And they started a band with Rudolph and Oliver. Making music is all they want to do. And with a push from Maggie, things begin to happen for them. While Brooks, Calvin and the boys head to L.A., Maggie is left in her silent world waiting for Brooks to come back. But she will never tell him that because she wants him to be happy and music makes him happy.
When tragedy strikes Brooks, he tries to push Maggie away and she pushes back. Can Maggie make Brooks see that she understands his pain? Will he finally see just what her loneliness was really like? After she reveals her secret, that is when both of their worlds change and for the better. This story was written in present and in future time, so don't be surprised if there are a few things you may notice, it is a story after all.

This book will break your heart and in the end Brittainy C. Cherry will put it back together as she does with each of the stories in the Elements series.
I loved Lucy and her "Hippie Wacko" self and Graham just needed a little bit of her hippie ways to rub off on him.
This is a great story and I don't want to give away any of it and spoil it for anyone. So I will just say, "READ IT" it is worth it. Any of them in this series is awesome.
All I can say is READ THESE, you will love them. I would be disappointed if you didn't love them at least a little. They are awesome.

Moments in our life are what define us. It can make it great or it can leave us speechless. When tragedy strikes Maggie at a young age, it leaves her speechless. And nothing anyone does will get her to talk. She communicates with them but not with her voice.
Brooks is the boy that Maggie has loved since she was very young and their friendship has kept them both going. When Maggie didn't want to be around anyone, it was Brooks and hos music player that got through to her.
Brooks is Maggie's brother Calvin's best friend. And they started a band with Rudolph and Oliver. Making music is all they want to do. And with a push from Maggie, things begin to happen for them. While Brooks, Calvin and the boys head to L.A., Maggie is left in her silent world waiting for Brooks to come back. But she will never tell him that because she wants him to be happy and music makes him happy.
When tragedy strikes Brooks, he tries to push Maggie away and she pushes back. Can Maggie make Brooks see that she understands his pain? Will he finally see just what her loneliness was really like? After she reveals her secret, that is when both of their worlds change and for the better. This story was written in present and in future time, so don't be surprised if there are a few things you may notice, it is a story after all.

This book will break your heart and in the end Brittainy C. Cherry will put it back together as she does with each of the stories in the Elements series.
I loved Lucy and her "Hippie Wacko" self and Graham just needed a little bit of her hippie ways to rub off on him.
This is a great story and I don't want to give away any of it and spoil it for anyone. So I will just say, "READ IT" it is worth it. Any of them in this series is awesome.
All I can say is READ THESE, you will love them. I would be disappointed if you didn't love them at least a little. They are awesome.

So beautiful and raw
Tristan and Lizzie’s story is more than just a love story. Their love was about finding yourself amongst the tragedies and heartache of their past. Their love was a love at its rawest form. This book was so beautifully written that I honestly couldn’t put it down. Throughout the book Brittainy brings these characters to life to the point where you feel their pain. Lizzie was so strong and even though she was broken she was able to open herself to Tristan because she saw something no one else saw. Tristan on the other hand broke me. This man experienced the worse pain you could ever imagine and I cried, I cried for him because his pain was so deep and he put up walls that Lizzie & sweet Emma would eventually knock down. This book will break you but I promise in the end it will put you back together.

The Air He Breathes, by Brittainy C Cherry was a second chance love story between two characters feeling empty inside. The story explored the emotions of two characters who lost a part of their soul and struggled with life without their soulmates. Both characters were lost and alone with painful thoughts of a past never forgotten but missed. These complex characters shared an emptiness inside them only these two understood. This was a standalone book in the Elements series. The story had themes of courage, strength, hope and survival.
The Fire Between High & Low is a friendship to lovers story with components of unconditional love, drug addiction, abuse, neglect, and second chances. Some characters were weak and unable to remove themselves from the unhealthy living environment, yet they found strength in family.
The Silent Waters story took a different approach at love. In fact, Silent Waters showed many forms of love in these characters. This story included many characters but Maggie and Brooks were the main characters. However, this story would not have been complete without the assistance of the minor characters. WOW.....Must Read
This is the first time I read a series from beginning to end without a break. Most of the time the stories in series are similar in some way, and I will take a breather before coming back. That was definitely not the case with this one. Each time I will finish a story, I will think to myself ‘there is no way the next one tops this one’. Oh boy was I wrong. Each story is unique in its own way, and stirs up all types of emotions: pain, sorrow, sadness, joy.....
Not only the stories flow beautifully, with adequate amount of dialogue and inside thoughts; but the plots are very unique. I was always looking to how the story unravels, unlike some books where you know how it develops from the first words.
This is my new favorite author, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of her books.

WOW.... what a Rollercoaster of emotions
I know it sounds cheesy saying it's a roller coaster of emotions but it was I laughed I cried these books were amazing I read all four of them in just three days and I would read them over and over again just to experience all the joy the laughter the heart breaks and the tears, they were really amazing, I definitely not regret reading these books. The characters are so captivating and you just feel like you know them and you're there as a part of their lives. Sorry I'm not very good at writing these but I definitely had to rate these stories because.......wow
So far probably right about 6 of Brittany Cherry's books, including these 4 and she's good she's a really writer and so wise and inspirational.

I just finished this set in audio. I got each book separately, not in a box set. I thoroughly enjoyed it and want more by this author. Each book was unrelated to the rest except through the theme of elements. Characters were well done and not repeated with a new name in each book as some authors do. These stories were all different. Each story had twists in the plot that kept me from always knowing what would happen next. I loved that! The Fire Between High and Lo (#2) was a bit of a step down after The Air He Breathes (#1), but most books would have been. I can't currently say which was my favorite between 1 and 3, and #4 was also very good. I'm now faced with finding something good enough to follow this series without being a let-down.

I have already left a review for The Gravity of Us which I cannot give enough wonderful praise. I then saw the Elements series box set when looking for another of Brittainy Cherry's books to read. I bought the series and read the first three books in the series in two days. They are fantastic reads and I love the authors ability to draw me in and connect with the story and especially the characters. I'm hooked and have bought two more books and I'm sure I will get others, because I know I will not be disappointed in the least when reading a Brittainy Cherry book. She rocks.

What an amazing set of books!
This is The Elements Series complete box set written by Brittainy Cherry. It’s got 4 full length novels that are all unrelated to each other. Each one of these stories is amazing and original. I’ve learned quickly that Ms Cherry doesn’t write sweet little cookie cutter stories. Hers are real and full of human emotions and even more real circumstances. It’s like she drags you through the fire pit to get to the HEA. Sometimes it burns more than others. But it always burns before we are delivered to the light. She has quickly become another of my favorite authors. If you like your stories with a bit of grit she is an excellent choice!

Unexpected! Maktub!
The Elements Series Boxed Set is the first I"ve read by Brittany Cherry. Starting with The Air He Breathes I was doubtful of reading the whole series. Half way through I forwarded/skipped a few chapters. And immediately returned to where I'd been before! What I thought to be an expected rest of a story line was Unexpected! So I went on to read the second the Fire Between. Same "problem". But again I was sucked back into the characters and story! That was it! Finished the series. Didn't skip to read just the end. START at the beginning and READ them all! Okay! Heartbeats! Maktub!

Poetry
I downloaded the Elements Quartet with no real expectations. I simply wanted more books to read. But I found so much more. These stories are poetry. They make me feel. So much feeling. I want to devour each word, inhale them into myself, but then go back and slowly savor them again. One read won’t be enough. All four of these books feel more real to me than some of the moments in my own life. That is the mark of an incredible writer. I am better for having read these stories. I am moved and filled and empty and awed. Thank you for writing.

So it took me a while to read all four books because they were so emotional involved. I honestly couldn’t tell you my favorite, only that in each book I experienced emotions felt by the characters as well as emotions on behalf of the characters. Each book dealt with different types of heartbreak, but also kept so much hope alive even though all the dark days. But really they were emotional roller coasters, so after I finished one book I would have to take a break before binging the next book. So worth the read.

Brittainy Cherry is one of my favorite authors and I will forever sing her praises. The Air he Breathes was the first book I read from her and I loved it so much, I stayed up all night to finish it and then I started it again. From page one. Right after finishing it. I then systematically read all her other books in this series and fell in love with them too. Her stories are emotionally raw and powerful. Her love stories are full of hurt and beauty. She is a hidden gem.

Love it
I love love LOVE relatable characters!! It makes it so much easier to dive into a book when the character are like yourself or someone you know.
I also love that this isn't a 100 page HEA. These lovely books are hard won happy endings.
I'm pretty sure I went through all the major emotions in every book!

So freaking good
This is my first book by this author and wow, just wow. I hit the jackpot with a collection of books that are each amazing. Four different sets of characters, four amazing love stories - and none are an easy walk in the park. I can't even pick a favorite, they are all so good. Grab this book as fast as you can.

had all the feels
OMG! Loved every story! She breaks down all the barriers with mental illness, ptsd, and so many issues that people seem to just skate over. Seriously, I laughed, cried, and smiled teasing all 4 stories. She knows how to bring the characters to life so you feel their pain and joy. Definitely reading this author more

Book 1 was great. Really liked the story and plot, and was excited to be reading something well written. Book 2, dragged on waaaaay to long explaining their history and childhood traumas. OMG bored me to tears. Book 3 started out good, but then dragged on and on with her not being able to speak and all that inner dialogue. Book 4 I didn't even bother to read.
