Contes fil per randa

Rate this book

I’m really caught. So much Kipling - and maybe especially these stories he told his daughter- are so hedged about in his cultural and racial expectations that they are unreadable without major commentary and discussion: a sourcebook for the history of imperialism. This collection is a really brave attempt to rescue the stories from this morass- but is so radical that I am unsure quite what’s left. I may need a re-read at more leisure but my first thought was that the storylines are all that are left.

As imagens deste livro valem a pena todas as páginas e cantos.
