He and his wife, Edith, founded L'Abri Fellowship international study and discipleship centers. Schaeffer passed away in 1984, but his influence and legacy continue worldwide.

A devotional book compiled (by others) with excerpts from Edith Schaeffer’s books. It progresses through ideas of God as the great artist, the purpose of man, salvation, and then through different themes of the Christian life. I found myself sharing portions of what she had to say with others. Short readings and thought provoking. Would recommend.

This is a compilation of some of the best excerpts from Edith Schaeffer's books.
Edith and Francis Schaeffer's story can be read in the L'Abri story.
This is more of a devotional type book, with bible references and 2-3 page devotions. I hesitate to call it a devotional book because this may suggest it is not lasting or deep. The thoughts and discussions here are scripture based and will give any Christian some amazing mind food that will produce fruit.
I am currently studying this book in a ladies group, after I read the whole book with my husband. It's not just for women.
