I'll come back and finish this review when I can piece together an explanation that makes sense, but I didn't enjoy this. I may even try re-reading it when I'm in a better mood to see if it's just me, but something about the way the author approaches the entire topic makes me uncomfortable.

A delightful book full of beautiful pictures and information. Very insightful information on crystals, rituals, the lunar cycle and more. I'm au fait with crystals but lunar is new to me so nice to see a book with something different that I could enjoy and learn from. Highly recommended.

Very informative and easy to navigate. Extremely practical for anyone who works alongside the lunar cycles or with crystals. This is the type of text I would come back and forth to throughout the year to help guide me with my spiritual work.

I just love this book. As an avid crystal enthusiast I can never get enough of books on this topic. The one thing that was refreshing was the simplicity of the book. The author gave enough background on each topic that gave you a great understanding without overwhelming the reader with information. Everything in the book is very clear and concise, which makes this an excellent quick resource book.
The one thing that I immensely appreciated was that the focus was spiritual and not focused on a particle faith. That made the book extremely inviting and non intrusive on your personal believe systems.
If you are looking for a book on lunar and energy and crystal use, this is the book for you. Ms Leavy gives a brief introduction and example of things like brief historic information, various lunar cycles, cleansing, grounding, programming your crystals and the different uses of them in various lunar cycles. She also covers the Modern, Native and Celtic 13 moons and how to utilize lunar energy depending on which astrological sign it falls into.
As a metaphysical practitioner, I love the direct and to the point approach which makes finding the information you need simple and easy. A book to be enjoyed by all levels of experience.

This book is amazing! I received an ARC through NetGalley, but after reading it, I went to Amazon to put my pre-release order in. I rarely do that. Although I read a lot, I am very picky about the books I purchase, but I’m looking forward to adding this one to my collection.
With that being said, if you enjoy working or learning about crystals, you should just go purchase this book. :)
But if you need a bit more convincing, the first thing I was totally blown away by was the photography. And having a professional photographer as a husband I am very, very critical of photos. These drew me in and even if I hadn’t been interested in learning more about crystals I would have wanted to after looking at these enchanting photos. The way they crystals and other props were arranged made me want to buy every single thing in the photo.
The book’s details are wonderful for a beginner. And I can see it not only being a great refresher for someone who has been using crystals for awhile, but there’s a good chance they will learn some new things as well.
The book is very well organized, helping you to decide what crystals to enhance Moon magic, the Lunar cycle, the Lunar zodiac, the 13 Full Moons of the year, the 13 Modern Moons, the 13 Native Moons, and the 13 Celtic Moons.
Then corresponding with each lunar cycle, lunar zodiac or full moon Ashley Leavy also includes information on what animals, colors. crystals, deities, essential oils, herbs and keyword work well with them. As well as alternative moon names and a small ritual to help you inspire your creativity.
It is wonderful to read the entire book or if you are just looking for a certain moon phase or lunar zodiac sign you can easily flip to that section and be on your way to increasing your knowledge.
As much as I want you to explore more reviews for other books that I’ve read, I want you to go purchase this book more. So go, go now and get yourself a copy.

I was immediately connected to this book. "Cosmic Crystals" by Ashley Leavy is inspirational, spiritual and full of positive energy. The knowledge the author shares from her personal journey of reconnecting with herself through crystals and meditation is amazing. I have gained the knowledge of how to use crystals with moon phases, zodiac signs and how important lunar energy is in my daily life. The author talks about the purpose of different crystals, grounding and cleansing, explains the meaning of lunar energy and its history and gives the reader a lunar calendar of sorts with crystal rituals. Just amazing! I cannot say enough about the illustrations in this book, just beautiful. There are so many things I have added to my wish list, just from the photographs. The author explains how we can tap into the twelve zodiac signs' energies each month with specific crystals. She even has a section giving a description of how to use the different full moons of each month including Celtic, Modern and Native moons. But these rituals not only include crystals but herbs, essential oils, Deities, and colors (which I used for candle correspondence during my rituals). The author has also created the Crystal Moon Mystic Oracle Deck, which I would love to add to my collection. I was amazed at how spiritually connected this book makes me feel.💜

'Cosmic Crystals' by Ashley Leavy is a practical guide on how to use healing crystals with the moon phases. Each moon phase was explained and a description of crystals were included. The moon through the 12 signs of the zodiac and its corresponding crystals, and chapters on the 13 modern, Native, Celtic moons were also covered. Rituals to perform for each moon using crystals accompanied each chapter. Gorgeous colourful photography was featured throughout the book that was inspiring and aesthetically pleasing. I appreciated that Ashely chose a variety of different moonstones as her featured crystals (along with many other types of crystals) because there were some mentioned that I had never heard of before which was exciting.
Each chapter was concise enough that I understood the lunar energy perfectly, unlike other books on the Moon which I’ve read that over-explained each phase leaving me very confused. If you are a more advanced crystal user this book will probably be too simplistic, however, if you are new to crystals or working with the moon than I believe this book will be a much needed addition to your collection. I’ve been working with lunar energy and crystals for many years and I thought this book was a great refresher. It could make a great coffee-table book or feature as a permanent fixture on your altar. It’s beautiful to look at and easy to use.
Each chapter was concise enough that I understood the lunar energy perfectly, unlike other books on the Moon which I’ve read that over-explained each phase leaving me very confused. This is a perfect guide for those of us who work with the cycles of the moon and crystals. I was thrilled to receive this for review. Thank you to Net Galley and to the publisher for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.
As a practicing witch I work with both crystals and moon cycles. However I was not incorporating the two modalities until I was fortunate enough to receive this book for review. I found this immensely helpful to my personal practice.
The book has many outstanding features first of which are the professional done photographers that take your breath away. The author helps you to understand the moon’s phases and what you want to achieve with your crystals. It also provides an overview of the Lunar Zodiac and each crystal that goes with each sign. The thirteen full moons are explained with their corresponding crystals .
The author added a glossary with some basic definition, recommended books and websites for further study to be helpful. This is the perfect introductory book for anyone interested in using crystals with lunar energy. I highly recommend this book and will be purchasing it for gifts for friends.

I don’t know where to start with this book. Whether it be at the 6 plus pages of notes I took, or the absolutely gorgeous and lush photography, or the sheer level of knowledge I gained from reading. Ashley Leavy has written an amazing book on crystals and the moon, crystals and the zodiac and ritual to go with every phase. She has a school and many classes you can take which I will tag below. This is an absolute keeper and a pride of place on my shelf book. I can’t say enough good things!

A good overview of crystals and how to leverage them with the moon’s cycles. The book helps you to understand the moon’s phases and which is best for what you want to achieve with your crystals. For example, which crystals to use, with Lunar eclipses, blue moons, black moons, micro moons, super moons, and blood moons. It also provides an overview of the Lunar Zodiac and corresponding crystals. There are thirteen full moons each year and how they are used in several calendars along with their corresponding crystals.

Edited: the kind people at Quatro sent me a clean copy of the book when the first one wouldn't work for me. First things first, I absolutely agree with everyone who commented on the photography! These images are stunning and in person would be even more so.
It's a fascinating read, and it'll need several more reads to absorb all the nuance. I can tell this is going to be the type of book I come back to to reread often. I love the care that's been taken with the different types of moon and different correspondences. I also love the index at the back! When I get new crystals I can look them up to see what they're best suited to. Wonderful.
I will definitely be coming back to this one over and over.

Book 25/100: Cosmic Crystals: Rituals and Meditations for Connecting With Lunar Energy by Ashley Leavy. The rituals, crystals to choose from, and explanations for everything are easy to understand and a must for any beginning or experienced witch. The photographs in this book are also super stunning! I learned some new things, especially the various traditional moons along with the celtics and norse moons as well. It all comes down to choice and what you vibe with the most.

It's a summary book of moon rituals from various cultures. I really loved it! I don't know much about moon phases or crystals or rituals so I learnt a lot. Some are quite interesting some are not easy to do because I don't have many crystals.
I like the idea of setting an intention and checking the progress every 3-4 days when moon shifts.
I've realised I don't check my progress often even I do have a plan for a specific purpose.
I'll definitely check this book again and try to apply in my daily life.

This is such an easy read packed with fantastic information about the moon cycles and how to work with it when it's in different signs and cycles (full moon, new moon, etc).
If you're looking to work more with the moon and incorporate crystals into that practice without knowing a whole lot, this is the book for you. Ashley makes it really easy and simple with her crystal tips and recommendations for the moon work, so you don't feel intimidated or like you wouldn't have all these fancy tools or crystals.

I love this book. Learning more about moon magic and crystals is my favourite part of the craft. I am really looking forward to using some of thses spells and rites. I think I will start this month actually. I picked it up at my local ocalt/spirituality shop unaware that the author actually taught my mother in crystal healing 😅. Regardless I love the book and will be referring back to it as much as possible ✨

Very well written, and I loved that it combined crystals and the moon. I also liked that it was written like the reader had no knowledge of the subject, but didn't make you feel like an idiot. The pictures are beautiful and it was broken up into sections. It was a light read but had a lot of great information with little fluff.

This is the first book about crystals I’ve read and it’s pretty easy to understand. The book explains which crystals work with the different moon phases. Also explains how to cleanse your crystals. If you use aromatherapy oils the book briefly discusses which oils work with which crystals. This is a good book for you to learn how to use crystals with the moon phases, however, if you’re looking for a book to go in-depth with descriptions of what crystals to use what ailment or event this is not the book you’re looking for.

Do get a bit of variety of topics relating to crystals and the moon (black moons, blue moons, Celtic). A nice book for those who have an interest in the lunar energy and want something a little different than other moon books.

Such a fun and inspiring book to read if you aspire to work with either the lunar cycle and crystals, or both. Ashley provides highly readable of the lore of the full moon. She offers many rituals you can do at home. Ashley’s writing style is like she’s talking to a friend and you are that friend. Grab a cup of tea, your crystals and get ready to deep dive into the mystery and mystical aspects of the full moon in all her wondrous glory.

This is a great book for anyone who needs a quick overview of stones and a whole lot of rituals. It's an amazing book to read all the way through or to reference back, there's pretty much a ritual for everything you would need in here.
I am a die hard Ashley Leavy fan and I love that she doesn't pressure you to rush to buy expensive stones, but just work with what's comfortable. You can follow the rituals in this book to the letter or you can substitute what works best for you.

I love this book; I need to buy my own copy, because I renewed the library's copy so many times. I learned so much about connecting energy with crystals and the moon
