Offers recipes for holiday cookies, cakes, breads, and meals, and presents instructions for making dolls, toys, puppets, ornaments, quilts, and wall hangings
Read this for a genre read for a GR group. Interesting in the sense that it was copy right in 1984. Some of the fashions are passe, but the recipes and crafts are timeless. Chose a couple of each to try.
I really like these books, big and full of crafts, recipes and decorating. The directions are not detailed but patterns are generally included and they often have instructions for obscure crafts.

In that spirit, the loving hands of dedicated crafts people across the country have joined ours to bring you ideas to enrich your Christmas, starting with the appliqued scene on the next page. In this section and all that follow you'll find handcrafted holiday decorations and gifts to make this Christmas - and many to come a special celebration of America's rich crafts heritage.

This is really a good book. Chockablock with Christmas crafts, traditions, and recipes from all over the world. Some projects are quite involved but nonetheless intriguing. And the recipes are varied and tempting.
