Tracy Lorraine is a M/F and M/M contemporary romance author. Tracy has just turned thirty and lives in a cute Cotswold village in England with her husband, baby girl and lovable but slightly crazy dog. Having always been a bookaholic with her head stuck in her Kindle Tracy decided to try her hand at a story idea she dreamt up and hasn’t looked back since.
Blurb: Taylor lets just about anyone into his bed, but his heart is another matter. He’s seen first hand what can happen when you love someone too much, and it isn’t something he wants to experience for himself. That is until he meets the man who finds his way in with just one simple kiss. The only problem is that man has no intention of letting Taylor close to him. Can Taylor convince the only man he’s ever truly wanted to trust him?
Caleb’s had his fair share of meaningless one-night stands. They’ve been fun but he wants to find someone to settle down with. Unfortunately, the first man who captures his interest since moving back to England is the biggest bed hopper he’s ever met. He might tell Caleb he wants more, but can Caleb see beyond his past behaviour and believe they could have a future together?
This was a good story, but my enjoyment of it was constantly interrupted by the many grammatical errors. This book needs a good editor. The plot was sweet although she set up the next story by introducing the new main characters (which kind of left a cliffhanger at the end) I felt satisfied with how things turned out for Taylor and Caleb.
Taylor and Caleb's story has been a long time coming. I read about Taylors secrecy in the last book and was eager to see qhat he was up to. I had a feeling it was a certain someone but knowing he swung both ways I was hoping it would be a man. His past behavior and life that presented itself was heartbreaking. He has been through so much without trying to prove to the love of his life that he has changed and wants a serious relationship. He has grown so much as a character. I am hoping to see a bit of him in the next books.
Taylor (Angel Series #3.5) by Tracy Lorraine is part of her Angel series. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading this series in order to get the full effect of this series. I loved this book and this series! I couldn't put it down until I finished the last page! I love how this author's writing style is such that she can pull me in from the first word until the very last. Her attention to details make the story free flowing and makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. In this installment of this author's Angel series, we get to see Taylor's story. Taylor has a reputation for being a player. He doesn't fall in love and he doesn't do relationships. Until he meets Caleb and things change for him. When he sees Caleb across the room, he just knows he has to have him. Caleb is looking for someone to settle down with and he doesn't need a player. But he can't help deny the instant attraction they have for each other. Will he give Taylor a chance? Will Taylor prove that he is not the player he once was? These two will take you on a few twists and turns that you won't see coming. Their story is about learning to trust each other. Caleb needs to trust that Taylor will not go back to his old ways? I loved these two characters! They have such chemistry together, they just fit together. I just kept hoping that Caleb could see past Taylor's player ways and see him for who he is. The secondary characters are supportive and connectable. Some of them we have seen from previous books and they just add to the story. Each of these characters really just blow me away with their personalities and the things they all have been through. I highly suggest this book as I know you are going to want to see what Taylor's story is. You don't want to miss this book!
This sexy shortie of a story was delicious! It had a fair amount going on, too. Starts off in a surprising way, but those events led to these two finally maybe taking a chance. Love can be a scary thing.
I know with Taylor only being #3.5 in the Angel series by Tracy Lorraine, it’s obviously in the middle of a full series involving some of the other characters mentioned. However, I was totally able to enjoy it as a stand alone with no back story.
This isn’t my first book by this author. I really enjoyed the other story by her that I had read, so I’m not surprised to have liked this as well. I read it in one sitting. Taylor and Caleb are cute together, along with pretty dang hotttt. I look forward to reading more in this series.
Taylor by Tracy Lorraine a five-star read that will leave you wanting more and more and more. This may book 3.5 in the Angel series, but is actually the 8th book in the series, I definitely recommended reading them all in order as they are amazing and Tracy Lorraine has a way of getting you hooked and making you care so deeply about characters that you ditch real life friends to make sure that a character on a page doesn’t fall apart. But as the author will advise if you don’t want to commit to the whole series at least read Lilly as her book leads directly into Taylors story. This is a M/M romance so it won’t be for everyone, but if you haven’t read any M/M before give this a go, you won’t be disappointed. Taylor and Caleb’s story is one that seems to be written in the stars and it seems like it may be wishing upon a star for them to finally realise they are meant to be together. They both have enough emotional baggage to start a suitcase line and Taylor has enough ex’s that if they all bought an over-night case he would be a rich man. This is one of the problems that are stopping the stars aligning to bring these two star struck men together. Will they ever overcome the problems they face? Or will the gap between stars be too much? You will need to read the story to find out. But be warned there is so much more to this story, you will not be able to put it down, be prepared to lose time to this amazing story. Thank you Tracy for once again writing a great story. I can’t wait for the next instalment in the Angel series.
Well done Tracy! This book was very well written. I enjoy reading about Taylor and Caleb.
Taylor is known to be a major player. He doesn't do love nor relationship. Growing up in a house where no matter how much you love someone your heart can still get broken. Of course until he meets a handsome man that can change his promiscuous ways. Will Taylor let him break his ways?
Caleb is a hot underwear model who is looking for someone to settle down with. He is tired of just hooking up with random guys. In this time of his life he wants to find love. As he lays eyes on a particular handsome guy at a New Year's party hoping that he might be different. Will Caleb settle for someone who's just want a good time instead of settling down?
I voluntarily received an ARC for a honest review!
I seriously have toothache. These two were too sweet. I haven't yet read the whole series. but I absolutely intend to. I don't think it's a must, but think it'll give a better understanding of the characters and each of their roles.
Taylor and Caleb met two years ago at a party and their attraction was instant. But Caleb wants to settle down and Taylor is a player who prefers to keep things casual. When Taylor's past comes calling, Caleb finds he can't fight his feelings any longer and has to trust that Taylor has changed. I love the characters, I love the book and I love the series! Taylor is the eighth book in the Angel Series by Tracy Lorraine, it's an MM romance that's sooo good you won't want to miss it. I received an advanced reader copy.
Neither Taylor or Caleb can explain the overwhelming attraction they feel for each other. But unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be enough for them to follow through with their feelings. Taylor doesn’t do relationships, Caleb is looking for more than a hook up. They do develop a friendship but the attraction is constantly on their minds. The question is, will either one of them change their mind and give them a shot?
Tracy has done it again ladies and gents!!! Taylor is freaking amazing!!! I'm usually not into M/M but this one was sooooo worth it! Taylor and Caleb are so hot together. “I knew it was you,” he says after a couple of seconds. “I was hoping you might follow me.” 🔥💦😉 I can't wait for what is next to come!!! Counting the days for the next book!
Absolutely a smash hit. These two were made for each other. The chemistry was jumping from the pages. The plot was well thought out and executed, leaving me wanting more while satisfied at the same time. I can't wait to see the next installment.
This is the next book in the Angel Series by Tracy Lorraine. I have devoured each story as it has come out and haven't been disappointed yet. I didn't remember Taylor from Lilly's story and per the author's suggestion, Lilly should be read first.
This is a m/m story (male/male relationship) and if you have been thinking about reading this genre and have been afraid, I think this is a good one to get your feet wet with.
Taylor and Caleb's character development is quick and complete. I didn't find anything lacking in this story with the overall theme of "family doesn't have to be blood". It was all nice to revisit with past characters, like running into an old friend on the street for a quick hello.
This is only the second M/M romance I have read...and Tracy has nailed it...WOW it was unbelievable!!
Taylor and Caleb both have had player ways in the them, but you can't beat the instant connection between them both, but will it be enough for them both to settle...this whole story had me praying for there HEA...it has twists and turns in it, it keeps you wanting more and unable to put down, I love there characters so much and the chemistry is seriously HOT AND STEAMY!!!
Honestly this whole story is just unbelievable....I didn’t want it end...I love seeing the other characters in the background and the ending just leaves you wanting more.
Again Tracy has shown just how talented she is in her writing, she just gets the balance absolutely perfect, she is able to produce amazing characters and Taylor and Caleb are just another example of this. Definitely gets 5 ⭐️ from me, in my eyes it deserves 10. One of my top authors and I can't rave about her enough.
Tracy just continues to show why she is one of my favorite authors. This book was simply amazing.. I couldn't put it down. I wish I could give this book more then 5☆. You feel everything these characters feel. You hurt when they do. There was more then once I wanted to kick someone's butt. Taylor and Caleb are attracted to each other instantly. With all the twist and turns I was cussing out loud and praying for a Happy Ever After. This is yet another amazing part of the Angel Series ❤
I love Tracy's work!! This is the next book in the Angel Series.. I couldn't put this book down, I had to call my husband and ask him to bring dinner home. I loved Taylor and Caleb from the beginning. I was pulling for their Happy Ever After. I couldn't stand Taylor's mom and step dad I wanted to kick both of their butts. Poor Calebs is so vulnerable, I just wanted to wrap him in a hug and never let go. This ia yet another 5☆ read from Tracy
Taylor and Caleb have an instant attraction most people look their whole lives for! When they are both used to casual relationships one is ready to settle down one isn't. They both have to get through their own personal obstacles to find their way to each other!
Brilliant M/M Romance definite 5 Star must read!!!
A brilliant novella about trusting people. Taylor met Caleb at a party two years ago but they wanted different things in a relationship. Two years later, they share a flat in London when one day Caleb finds Taylor injured. At Taylor's request, Caleb drives him to Lilly's house in Devon. There it is revealed that Taylor's abusive stepdad beat him up. Caleb looks after him and reveals his feelings as to why he hasbeen refusing Taylor's advances and even kisses him ontheeay home when Taylor threatens to leave. They kiss and have sex despite the injuriesbut inthe morning they mske their ways to Caleb's job as a model and Taylor's job as a photographer. They spend time together as Taylor shoots Caleb on camera fora weekand a relationship blossoms. However, when Caleb's parents arrive and a past fling of Taylor's turns up unannounced, things get rocky. Despite this, they resolve their issues before Caleb flies to Paris for his sisters wedding. Meanwhile, Taylors mum turns up after leaving her husband and he helps her out until he gets a call that the photographer bailed on theweddi gand flies straight out and even wjns Calebs mothers approval in doing so. However, Taylors stepdad ramsacked the place while he was away and so they to move in together to anew place. an excellent novel. well written plot. well developed characters with Caleb and Taylor. the sense of vulnerabilities for both rounded them out and gave symptahy to them. I adored their relationship together it was sweet and romantic with the little things they did for eachother. In particular, I enjoyed the scenes at the wedding which were filmic and full of visual detail and sweet between the characters. loved the sense of fsmily. and sad that Taylor's mother will never leave the stepdad even if he continues to be abusive. the theme lf trust was poignant and beautifully written. alternating narration worked well to create more sympathy for Taylor and Caleb as it voiced their reasons and issues and vulnerabilities in a gentle light. the flashbacks were used well with subtle transitions on long drives which happens, making it feel even more realistic. a fabulous novel and I cant wait to read more. Overall, I would give it five stars.
Taylor (Angel Series #3.5) By: Tracy Lorraine 5 out of 5 stars
The story Taylor (Angel Series #3.5) by Tracy Lorraine is the next amazing book in the Angel series. I have loved every story in this series and always look forward to reading the next one that comes out. This is an author that knows how to create amazing stories with awesome characters that you fall in love with and always want them to have a happy ending. This is Taylor and Caleb’s story. Taylor is a man that is considered a player. He has one-night stands and doesn’t do relationships or boyfriends. After meeting Caleb his feelings begin to change. Caleb used to be just like Taylor, however, he now wants something more and even when Taylor does his best to get him to hook up, he refuses. He is looking for something long-term. From the first time that they meet you can tell that both Caleb and Taylor have an attraction to each other that is intense. It takes all Caleb’s willpower to resist Taylor. These two find themselves as roommates. The tension between them is high. Taylor has found that his lifestyle is changing and that he wants a relationship with Caleb. What does the future hold for both Taylor and Caleb? Will they be able to begin a relationship together? Will Caleb be able to trust Taylor not to go back to his old lifestyle? This is a story that is emotional. It is a beautiful story about two people who clearly care about each other. Taylor and Caleb are characters that you will love and hope that they will find happiness together. This is a story that I didn’t want to end. Reading it is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The characters in this series overlap and for the best experience, it is strongly recommended that the series is read in order. If you love romance books with plenty of heart and passion to them this is the book and series for you. I can’t wait to read what the author writes next. This is a story with mature subject matter and would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.
Taylor is the latest instalment in the captivating Angel series by Tracy Lorraine. This is a wonderful M/M story that will keep you enthralled the whole way through. The story is part of a series and I highly suggest that you read all the books, to get a better understanding of the characters, their backstories, and other relevant details, that will enhance your reading experience of this book. At the very least, you should read “Lilly” as this story leads straight on to Taylor’s. After reading Lilly myself, I was really excited and pleased to find that Taylor would be getting his own book, and I couldn’t wait to get to know him better. Taylor is great guy, but he doesn’t do relationships, choosing to bed-hop from one hook-up to the next. But his stance on relationships is about to be tested when he meets Caleb, and he finds his feelings on the matter beginning to change. Caleb knows Taylor’s ‘type’ as he used to be like him, but had enough of that lifestyle and really wants to settle down and is looking for something long term. There definitely is a powerful chemistry between the two, but Caleb is determined to resist Taylor who is trying his hardest to entice him. But, Taylor is finding himself changing, wanting things he never did before, including a relationship with Caleb. Will Taylor convince Caleb that he can be trusted not to go back to his bed-hopping ways? Will they be able to make a relationship work? As I have come to expect from Tracy Lorraine, this story is superbly written, full of the emotion we have come to love from this author. I read it in one sitting, not pausing until I had absorbed every word. Tracy Lorraine didn’t disappoint as this story is every bit as good as I had expected it would be. I really can’t wait for the next book.
Taylor ( Angel Series # 3.5 ) By Tracy Lorraine 5/5 Stars
Taylor is book eight in the Angel Series. It’s highly recommended that you read the books in their proper order!! You will not regret it at all!! Or at least read Lilly first, so you can get a better understanding of the characters. I can not say enough great things about this series and author!! During every single book, I have managed to cry. This story is no different! I didn’t ugly cry during this book, so that’s something !! The way Tracy writes, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into these characters. They are so very relatable! You can connect to them on so many levels!! That is what I love about this series… I have connected to each character in some way or another. Which is probably why I always end up a blubbering mess at the end of the book. I can’t help it, sometimes you come across a character ( or story ) you connect with. Whether is a feeling or an emotion. Or heck, maybe it’s something you’ve been through or currently going through. It’s one of the many reasons why I love Tracy’s books!! I have loved each of the characters in their own unique way!! I fell in love with Taylor, while reading Lilly! But in this book, since it’s his story...I think I fell in love with him even more. Yes, I know… he doesn’t swing my way. But still, he’s amazing !! He’s so vulnerable, and yet so strong!! You can’t help love him!! You have to read this book to see the journey Taylor takes you on!! Buckle up, it’s quite the emotional ride. It’s full of twists, turns and unexpected surprises!! If you haven’t read a Tracy Lorraine book…. go right now to get one. Start with Molly first, You will not regret it! I can’t wait to read Nicole and Declan’s story next. Until then… xxx
I have to be completely honest when I say I am not a fan of m/m stories at all but I love Tracy Lorraine and the Angel series so I thought if there is any author who can change my mind it will be this one – unfortunately she didn’t BUT whilst I still am not a fan of m/m I cannot fault this story at all. It was beautifully written (which I have always come to expect from this author) the characters were well thought out and I loved both Taylor and Caleb – completely and utterly! I skipped over their ‘intimate moments’ but the bond between them was beautiful. I loved the qualities that they each had, the struggles that they both went through and in the end the deep connection that they had. It also helped they were both as hot as anything!! If you are a m/m romance lover then there is absolutely no way you will not love this book it is just simply amazing – if you are not a fan I would still give it a go like I did – just skip over the bits you don’t like but enjoy the story for what it is – a beautifully told romance story between two people who deeply care and love each other. This is actually one of my favourites in this series so far! There is just something about this authors writing that just leaps off the page to me, her stories are always so beautifully written, they flow seamlessly and are an absolute pleasure to read. She is by far one of my favourite authors! I have absolutely loved the Angel series and as always Tracy leaves us with a teaser of what is to come in the next book! I hope I don’t have to wait too long!!
Taylor (Angel #3.5) by Tracy Lorraine follows a chance meeting of Taylor and Caleb and can a glance across a room be love at first sight.
Taylor is attending a new year's eve party when he spots a tall, dashing handsome man who stirs something inside Taylor but will the mystery man want bit of funny for one night.
Caleb had seen the gorgeous guy in the grey suit eyeing him up all night what was he going to do, so he makes the decision to throw caution to the wind and have one night with the guy who sends his heart pounding. As he makes his way to the bathroom Taylor follows Caleb and they have a meeting which Taylor places his number in Caleb's phone.
Roll on a few month's and Taylor needs a place to stay in London, so who does he calls Caleb. As they co-habit together the chemistry between them is unbearable but will they let there guard down and delve into a relationship with each other or will keep their relationship strictly professional.
I loved this story to see the relationship between these two people build and willing them to just give each other a chance. This is the third book I have read in this series and although it is a part of the series you can read this as a stand alone book, but you will be reading the other books in the series after this one. The book is fast pace and I love the vulnerable side of Taylor especially when it comes to his mother and the hard conversation Caleb had with his parents was really well written. I look forward to more books in this series.
*****4 stars***** Taylor: The Angel Series #3.5 by Tracy Lorraine
I give the latest installment of The Angel Series 4 Stars. Tracy Lorraine’s story about Taylor, his relationship with Caleb, and different people from his past that show up to cause problems was a nice one. I’ve read every story in this book series and love the author’s writing and how she develops each character so well. This story, where one person decides they’re ready to settle down and refuses to compromise and how everything eventually falls together, will just leave you with a smile on your face (and also wishing you got more of a description of the new apartment and the furnishings!).
Some authors can’t pull off a M/M romance, but Tracy Lorraine did a fine job. My only issue was how I somehow got confused as the point of views switched back and forth towards the beginning of the story. I partially blame being on strong cold medicine, and partially believe it may just be because Taylor and Caleb actually did have so much in common with one another that it’s easy to get a little off track. This instant connection between the Taylor and Caleb was undeniable. From the beginning I found myself just wishing they’d stop fighting it and give things a chance. There was a mix of sweetness and romance intertwined with some major hot and steamy moments. I’d definitely recommend the entire Angel series and I’m looking forward to the next installment in the series.
Taylor is another installment in the Angel series by Tracy Lorraine. This is my seventh book by this author.
Two years ago at New Year's Eve party, Caleb and Taylor meet and while the two feel an attraction, Caleb wants more than a one night stand. The two part ways with Taylor putting his number into Caleb phone’s in case he changes his mind.
Taylor isn't one for relationship or love. He is more of player who sleeps around but doesn't want to get attached to one person until he meets Caleb.
Caleb is looking to settle down and while he is attracted to Taylor, he doesn't trust that he won't go back to his player ways. Can Taylor convince Caleb him that he is different man and wants a relationship with only him?
Not looking at the cover or reading the summary, I didn't know this was M/M, I thought it was F/M, which was a refreshing surprise. I loved Caleb and Taylor's chemistry, and their fight to deny their feelings for each other.
It was cute short read. I'm glad we got to meet past characters who were able to help this couple come together. This story tells you all about their relationship, how they met, and how they end up being flatmates as well as continues where ‘Lilly’ left off.
I wonder whose story we get next. I don't want this series to ever end.
With twists and turns, it's a short but engaging read. I didn't want to put it down. I love this series more and more with each book.
Well Tracy Lorraine popped my MM cherry with Chasing Logan and she has given me some more hot men to love!
This can be read as a standalone but I would advise reading the previous book in the series first to ge the full awesome effect from this series.
Tracy's writing is just flawless, it draws you in from the very first page and keeps you hooked until the last word but has you wanting more.
This is Taylor's story and its a hot one! Taylor is a player, he doesn't do relationships! once he meets Caleb though the normal rules do not apply. One look and he knows he wants Caleb.
Caleb wants to settle down, even though he is not wanting a playboy he can not deny or resist the instant attraction that he feels fro Taylor.
Tracy loves to takes us on a few twists and turns whilst we become invested in if Caleb will give Taylor a chance and if Taylor can be trusted.
This book will leave you hot and swooning <3<3<3
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the author
