Darkness is growing within Lavinia and if she can't learn to control it, more than just her humanity will be lost.
After receiving a cryptic message from the Sea Witch, Lavinia and Jameson must find the Obsidian Caves if they want a chance at stopping Prime. As more hunters arrive at their compound, they learn he's closer to victory than previously believed.
Answers won't come easy for any of them, but an infuriating vampire will be the key to bringing everyone together, if only they can trust each other before it all falls apart.
The prospect of triumph slips further away as the days pass, but unexpected allies come forward in the form of obvious enemies. Lavinia and crew will need to decide if the rewards outweigh the risks, or if they'll be doomed no matter what they choose.

These two ladies have left me in an utter mess!! Ms. Renee and Ms. Grayce are so very talented and always pen these unique stories that you cannot put down! I loved, loved, loved this series so hard!! It will take your heart and run away with it! Who knew that a series about vampire pirates could reduce you to tears!? But in all the very best of ways! These characters are unforgettable and will weave themselves into your heart. The struggles that they endure share these incredible moments of bravery, hope, love, forgiveness and acceptance. We see some very heartbreaking goodbyes that will gut you, but there is just so much love and determination that carry you along on this journey. Without revealing spoilers there really isn't more that I can say. If you want to read a series that will give you all the feels and break you and put you together again, that will feed your craving for true love and enduring friendship, this was written with you in mind!!

Heather Renee and Lela Grayce have written the wonderful conclusion to the Blood of the Sea series.
Lavinia’s story ends with the with the final search for the Obsidian Caves, and taking the steps to attempt to defeat Prime. Emotions run high, which at times are heart wrenching as you experience what Lavinia feels, but she is a strong and determined woman. The love between Lavinia and Jameson is also beautifully written and expressed perfectly for this genre.
The storyline and characters dragged me in and before I knew it, the story was over all too soon. Obsidian Horizon became my favourite story of the series, and I highly recommend the third and final book in the series. As well as the other books in the Blood of the Sea series.

Omgomgomgomg what an adventure! Kept on my toes with twists and turns, I can't stress enough what a must read this is. I absolutely love Lavinia and Jameson ❤️ I think they are one of my favorite book couples. The love between them.... You can't help but feel it

*I received Beta and ARC copies of this book from the authors for my honest review.*
This conclusion is full of action, emotion, and even romance. The characters continue to grow, specifically Lavinia and Evanders. We get more history on why things are the way they are, plus an awesome sea witch with a *SPOILER* freaking kraken!! That part was pretty awesome, even if it did give me all sorts of anxiety.
Actually, I was pretty anxious throughout the whole book—the whole series. It’s a very original, creative story, and a new take on vampires. They’re pirates! It was a fun adventure that gave me all the feels. This final book closed up the series fantastically. It was well written and exciting. It answered any remaining questions I had and brought closure. I was very happy about the ending.
I really loved this book. I enjoyed reading the series as a whole, and I’m so grateful to have been able to be a beta reader throughout all three books. Both authors’ writing styles blended seamlessly and complimented one another. I will definitely be reading more by both of them. I look forward to seeing what they do next!

As I was reading I kept wishing for just a few more pages, didn't want this adventure to be over! I'm so sad to see this amazing series come to an end. I Really hope Evander gets a book of his own, his character completely stole my heart! I would love to read more about him maybe a Spin-off Series? 😉

Wow, what a conclusion to a amazing, original and super fun, yet, heart pounding series.
This book really ties everything together for an epic final. I didn't want it to end, but I have to say, I'm happy with the conclusion. But there's enough little bits left open that if wanted, the author can reviste and expand.. and I really hope that's a possibility.
I don't want to give anything away, as this is a continuation series, and this being book three, any hint of a spoiler with ruin the entire series. So I'm going to leave you with my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall hard for this truly unique, one of a kind read.

As I was scrolling down to the write a review button a word jumped out at me from another's review, it was Riveting and that is the perfect word for this book and the other two also. It was completely engrossing and compelling. Lavinia and Jameson are hunting for the Obsidian Caves in this book to find a way to defeat Prime once and for all. but it isn't coming easy for them. Everything does get wrapped up pretty good and the action and emotion of the book was just phenom. I want more Vampire Pirates now.

OMG, I can't believe this series is over!!! 😢... I enjoyed so much reading about Lavinia and Jameson story as well the rest of our crew's adventures... So much action, romance, happy little moments, hard / struggle times, you can find it all in this book... And, of course, the finale we were waiting for... I'm sad and happy at the same time, but so satisfied and in peace. Totally in love with this series, a must read!!! 🤓😍❤️

I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the final book in the Blood of the Sea series, and Lavinia has been though so much thus far, but still has so far left to go. Get ready for unpredictable adventure, and unexpected alliances - with a just final resolution for those that get exactly what they deserve. I'd recommend this book to fans of vampires and pirates alike, though I'd recommend you read this series in the order in which it was published.

Once again Heather and Ella have knocked it out of the park. Obsidian Horizon is the perfect ending to a fantastic series. The growth of the characters in book 3 is tremendous. The slow burn relationship between Lavinia and Jameson is in full bloom and I can't get enough of them. I was also really happy to see how much closer Lavinia and Soloman become in book 3. Overall this was a solid 5 star read for me. I will definitely be suffering from a gnarly book hangover from this one!

Well done with the conclusion of this series, Blood of the Sea. “Obsidian Horizon” has all the action, character building, and finale that meets all the needs of the readers. Answers are given and yet there are still some twists and turns that keeps the reader fully engaged. Authors Heather Renee and Lela Grayce did a fabulous job with this whole series. The ending was everything that was meant to be.

This is the final book in this series by Heather Renee and Lela Grayce. If you haven't read the others, I highly recommend it before reading this one. Our favorite girl Lavinia must make a decision that will greatly affect her future and the future of her newfound family. Depending upon her choice, as to the outcome of everyone involved.

Emotional Rollercoaster!
An amazing conclusion to the Blood of Sea series! An amazing read that had me invested from book 1, smashing me in the feels and making me want more! Amazing character development, strong world building, and an all round engaging story. I am pleased to get the closure I so desperately needed but I am sad this ended.

Another awesome read by this duo. Well written with a great plot and characters. I was absorbed from beginning to end. This book has it all: action, adventure, romance, twists and of course vampire pirates....and the world building is phenomenal! I love this series and I am sad to see it end but it is a great conclusion and all the questions I had were answered! Highly recommended this series!

Lavinia story is one of light and darkness. She is learning to cope with the darkness inside and finally embraces her vampire side. Jameson and her bond keeps growing and becomes unbreakable. And her fight with Prime comes to an end. So can't wait to see if there is a spin off for Evander so we can get more of his story. All in all a must read trilogy!!

I love this series! Pirates and vampires, you can't ask for more! And not ordinary vampires either. I like that they are different. Lavinia is a strong woman\ vampire. Jameson, her partner, completes her. Her family and friends are her world. Don't mess with them. This book is a great ending to the trilogy!

Fantastic ending!! I loved how strong Nia was during the entire book! She was faced with so much and had to comfort every scary part of herself in this installment. She faced each hurdle brilliantly and I LOVE the way things ended. So thankful I decided to read this series as it was action packed and fast paced. Loved every page!!

What an amazing journey, Heather and Lela took us on. I adore Lavinia and Jameson and watching their love grow to unbreakable levels. Such great ending to this story and I want a Kraken of my own please!!!

I adore Lavinia. I'm so sad this trilogy has to come to an end. emotional roller coaster yet it was it's still bittersweet to see it stop. I was reduced to tears. I can't even begin to explain how much I love Jameson and Elliot. Vampirates are still my new favorite vampires.

This was a good series. It was a slow read because I really don't like pirate books whether they are paranormal or not. It was a little boring at times but it had a good plot and fantastic characters.

The third book in the trilogy, we find Lavinia searching for a way to find the Sea Witch and trying to avoid be found by Prime in the process. The whole trilogy is a great adventure and a great read, well written and paced.

Great end to an already great series. I can't believe that its over but i enjoyed getting to watch these characters grow and and become more amazing with every book. Who would have thought that vampires and pirates would make a great series. 😁
