This book started where book 1 left off and I was happy to see the continuation of Oskar and Hailey. I really enjoyed the suspense factor in this duet and thought the way it came full circle in this book was just perfect. I hope we get more from this sexy security team!!

Last month the first installment ended on a cliffhanger. Happily, this release picked up right where the first left off. Still experiencing a barrage of confusion, more questions were left lingering than after a parliamentary debate.
Is Evan up to his teeth in this or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time? What is her father hiding from her? Why on earth is her mother such a flake and so distant? Who is trying to kidnap and or kill our little perfume creator?
All valid questions and all are answered by the time this book hits ‘The End’. Most had a very satisfactory answer to them, but one left a very strange taste in my mouth. I love Blake Security and the cacophony of characters who call it home. Sadly, I just didn’t quite get the why and what of the biggest question in this duet.
These authors create characters that are realistic and fully fleshed out. Matthias, Noah and the gang are all complex people. I so wished I had read their books; that will be corrected as soon as physically possible. They’re all about putting right what is wrong and looking out for one another. There is a very fun part in this book that involves the women of their lives, a leather incident and explosives. That is all I am saying. I completely enjoyed that part. I would hate to run into any of these women in a dark alley; even Lucia is dangerous if cornered.
‘“Well, as for me, I always have my piece on.” She opened her purse and pulled out a sparkly gun.
Lucia snorted. “You bedazzled your gun?”
JJ grinned. “I gave it some pizzazz. Just because I’m carrying doesn’t mean I can’t be stylish.”’
Oskar continually battles his dark past and the monsters that lurk at the edges of the light. We go more in depth into his past. He isn't alone; Hailey isn't weak nor breakable. Considering the environment she grew up in I find her tacitly strong. She has endured so much and yet she never cracks. When Oskar finally brings his skeletons out of the closet, Hailey joins hands with him and is his port in a storm.

Anybody builds their life from the ground up. The foundation must be strong and long set before building commences and yet like Hailey, even when your foundation is wrecked by disaster after disaster, it doesn't have to be the end. New beginnings can be born from crumbled and eroded cement.
‘Welcomed it. Welcomed that quiet ownership. I needed this. A few weeks with him had ruined me for anyone else, ever again. Good thing he loved me.’
This isn't a book including insta-love, this is a tale of second chances and new growth, rediscovery and birth. Of laying roots down and seeing life through brightly lit windows, as corny as that sounds it's not meant to be. Two completely different people find each other and in return, they discover their true selves. These authors are one-clicks for me and I'm never disappointed by what I find. The Brazen Duet has given me new thoughts and feelings about characters I hadn't fully gotten to know before and for that, I am truly grateful. Thank you, ladies, for once again bringing us mere readers an all-consuming, realistic couple with crazily real friends and family.

Still Brazen continues Oskar and Hailey's journey, and by the end, the two are well into what is obviously going to be a happy future together.
Oskar has always presented this charming facade in the past Blake Security stories, so it was nice to get the real backstory on him here in his own story. Yes, he's charming and cocky and sweet, but he's got as complicated a past as all the other Blake men do. I love that the Malones paired him with a woman worthy of him, Hailey is a badass woman in her own right - strong, independent and unwilling to fall when presented with obstacles. And their chemistry? WHEW, HOT!! Although I'm sad to see Oskar and Hailey's story end, I'm glad that it ended on such a high note, and I know there is more to come for the men and women of Blake Security.

Picking up where Brazen left off, Still Brazen was a riot of steamy action, suspense, and comedy! Oskar and Hailey more then earned their HEA.

Still Brazen turned out to be an excellent conclusion to this story. Blake Security is a wonderful group of people, and Still Brazen brings this couple together in an epic ending. As always the Malone sisters take two characters adds some circumstances that ordinary people wouldn't get out of routine and adds an emotional element to it. And this brings us to a beautiful end.
As always I enjoyed this story as I still do.

When we last left Oskar and Hailey everything was in chaos and ended in a sudden cliffhanger. Still Brazen picks up where Brazen left off so you definitely need to read these books in order.
I really do love these characters and the chemistry between them is amazing. The guys from Blake Security are some of my favorites for sure and I enjoyed getting to know more about all of them as the story progressed. Book 1 really set me up with so many questions and had me on the edge of my seat and dying to get my hands on book 2.
Still Brazen has lots of action and drama, but I was still left with a lot of questions at the end. There were many twists that I never saw coming so every time I made a guess as to what I thought was going to happen I was wrong. In this book Hailey is begining to step away from her work driven life and realizes that there is much more out there that she wants to experience. Oskar is finally letting his walls down enough to actually let someone get close and you can see there relationship getting stronger as the story goes on.
I was really hoping for some more moments between Hailey and her family in order to close up some of the questions I had regarding them, but over all this was another great book and one definitely worth the read. - By Alisa

Still Brazen is a fun, yet slightly less dramatic finish to another duet by Malone Squared.
"...even bad guys could get a happy ending if they worked hard enough for it."
After a thrilling cliffhanger, Still Brazen picks up immediately where Brazen left off, and managed to uncover all the secrets that book 1 teased us with. I was pleased with the way Hailey & Oskar managed to reignite and reinvent their relationship though years had passed.
I really enjoyed this series. Now that the main men in Blake Security have all settled down, I am eager to see what next this writing duo will come up with.

Still Brazen by M Malone and Nana Malone a four-star read that will make you blush. This is the second part of the Brazen duet and I would wholly recommend you read them in order to get the most out of them. I loved the first half so hard, but I don’t know if I waited too long for this one or just my mood, but it felt a little flat, even though it had all the same drama, chemistry and action the first part did, it even had more romance and we got to see more of the other characters as well. I am guessing its just me as I loved the first one so hard!!! Pick up the duet as you won’t be disappointed.

Still Brazen proves there is a such thing as lethal charm. Oskar and the gang are always one step ahead when it comes to danger, but totally clueless about falling in love. Hailey and Oskar are a temptation that is not to be missed. Malone squared know how to keep readers on the edge of their seats, while stealing away with their hearts. Nana and Minx Malone are a dangerous combination and I'm loving every second.

I wasn't too pumped after reading this one. I found it a tad anti climactic especially after all the suspense that was created in 'Brazen'. The villain was taken down too easy and that atomic bomb that was thrown at Hailey was huge. I would have liked if her family had suffered a little bit more.
The heat factor is high for sure but I felt that too much focus was put on that instead of the circumstances that brought Oskar and Hailey together again.

Still Brazen by M. Malone & Nana Malone is book Two in the Brazen Duet. This continues the story of Hailey and Oskar, so you really should read the first book 'Brazen' first to fully enjoy their story. This book picks up where Brazen left off. Hailey and Oskar are still working on their growing feelings. We slowly start to get to the mystery of who has been after Hailey and then there was Oskar's past that came up. I so enjoyed this book and their story.

I don’t know, it just could have been better. There wasn’t enough suspense, actually those parts seemed to have been thrown in as an afterthought.
It is truly the characters in this series that I Love!! I always look forward to seeing them again and each time I think someone new is my favorite. The girls are bad ass, not just the men, which is a nice treat. I could live without more but I want to see what happens with the others we’ve met at Blake Security. So I guess the authors miss it in some ways but nailed it with this crew.

4.5 stars!!! What a great conclusion to the Brazen Duet!! If you have not read Brazen STOP!! Go read Brazen, because this is a conclusion and it does pick up from the seriously scary cliffhanger that Brazen left us on. Let me just say that I absolutely love Oskar and Hailey!! These two are beyond perfect for each other. They began their seriously suspenseful and mysterious roller coaster ride of a story in Brazen, and it concluded with all sorts of twists and turns and reveals in Still Brazen. Let me just say that neither one of these two come from biological families to be envious of, but they sure have found a family in the Blake Security family that is worthy of trust, respect and love.
Still Brazen is an extremely wonderfully written book by two authors who are each master story tellers in her own right. Once I started reading Still Brazen I could not put it down. Oskar and Hailey are such fun characters, as are all of the other characters in this world of Blake Security. So, if you have not read the other books in this series, I highly recommend them.

This is part two of the Brazen duet. Still Brazen jumps right into where we left off in Brazen and is equally loaded with steamy intrigue! Things for Hailey escalated quickly! She went from worrying about a fragrance launch to being held at gun point. She barely has a minute to catch her breath and it’s knocked out again when she finds out who is behind the desired destruction of her life. All she wanted was to be loved. Now they want her demise?
What do you do when your world is shaken to its core? You stand up and fight! But, that is not what one would expect from the Hailey we’ve gotten to know in book one. We knew she was a force to be reckoned with in creating fragrances. But when the stakes are high, it calls for another kind of strength. I enjoyed watching Hailey blossom. The strength she exudes as she evolves was beautiful. Her new found confidence brings out her fun personality, including a smart mouth and sense of humour. Who would have thought that Hailey could be her own little bada$$?
Now that she has found her inner strength and a place where she belongs with her new “family” will she be able to keep it?

This story was everything I hoped for and so much more. The Malone Squared ladies did it again! Everything happens so quickly that this was a fast read. After all of the Steele Security books, it was heartwarming to see Oskar's tender side finally come out. I love that Hailey is fierce and not afraid to stand up for herself. Together they are a force to be reckoned with.
There are many chuckle worthy moments and many ""oh"" moments throughout. The men are swoony, the women are just as protective of their men as the men are of them. #fightlikeagirl #prettygirlpower." Cindy
I love my guys from Blake Security and while I have always felt like a Rafe girl, Oskar has stolen my heart with this duet. When Oskar meets the head strong Hailey and what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas, but comes back three years later, this whole new story starts. Will Hailey be able to trust and will Oskar be able to escape the past he has been running from to keep Hailey safe. This is a warm, funny, exciting, second-chance romance. If you aren't a fan of Nana Malone, I dare you to read this duet and tell me otherwise! Helen

Still Brazen picks up right where Brazen ended, so you have to read that book first – it’s totally worth it, I promise. Ms Malone loves her cliff-hangers, and, to be honest, even though I hate them, they are a part of her writing style, which I love very much. So, as one half of the Malone Squared Duo writing this series, I knew there is going to be one.
The writing formula remains true to the witty banter that I’ve found I absolutely enjoy any books that I read. Still Brazen sits in the romantic-suspense sphere, and this most alpha collection of operatives taking humorous cheap pot shots at each other really added shine to my reading experience. The greater involvement of the secondary characters who make up the team at Blake security, made me know that I was in for a great read. And let’s not forget the hot and steamy loving that goes on between our couple!
Both Hailey and Oskar really come into their own during Still Brazen, and as their relationship builds, Hailey finds out that everything she thought held true, was all lies. She’s strong, and even though the hits kept coming, her big gorgeous Viking was there. No game playing for these two. Honesty is key, even when it hurts. Yep, life is like that.
Plus, when the Oskar’s original motivation to leave Hailey reasserts itself in his life, his initial instinct to separate and protect remains strong. This time though, she’s not going quietly, and he has the bad-arse team comprising Blake Security standing behind him. 4.5 Stars.

The best part of reading this duet is that we didn't have to wait long at all for the release of the second book....Still Brazen :)
4.5 Star rating for me. The only reason I didn't go full 5 star is because I really would have loved to see Hailey's family get what was coming to them. Her brother is a fool who continually gets a slap on the wrist or his father covering up his issues. Her mother....I can't even go there. That woman is heartless and self absorbed. Out of all these her father truly loves her but it seems this family all put themselves first beyond caring for each other. Oh, and I'm sorry but they would not have gotten the ending that Hailey gave them from me. Nope!
There were so many parts of love in this book but I have to admit the women in this series had a prominent part to play and it was AWESOME! Move over men, the women are here to save the day...LOL!
JJ is the comedian in this book and yeah, she had me rolling. I love my gun but I sure am not applying bling to it :)
But what it all comes to in this duet is a past that comes full circle and the two people who learn so much from each other about themselves. Hailey is a lot stronger woman than I gave her credit for and Oskar may use humor and sex as a way to keep Hailey off balance but in the end.....he is so much more than he could even contemplate.
Well written with a full plot and a great array of characters to enjoy.

Five-star romance with three-star suspense
I loved, loved, loved Oskar and Hailey. These two are written so perfectly for each other; their connection is real and deep and oh-so-sweetly sexy. The two different rings was a swoon-worthy touch. Oskar is understandably driven to distraction by his need to protect and care for Hailey. She's got to wade through some harsh family truths and find her peace with who she is, all with Oskar right there by her side. Couldn't have been more perfect.
The danger part of the storyline, however, felt like an afterthought. The initial thread that left us with the cliffhanger in the first book completely fizzled out, and the "real" threat came out of practically nowhere, leaving more questions than answers (Why target Hailey first? How would that have worked if her dad had chosen another security company? How did they all end up in that situation at the tuxedo shop in the first place?) but by this time, Oskar and Hailey are so stinkin' happy and cute together that we really don't care what the original threat was or whether it's been completely eliminated.
It was great to see the entire Blake Security family back at work, and I appreciated the way the authors showed the maturing relationships between all the principles from all the books in this series. These are all wonderfully developed characters, and any book with them in it feels like Old Home Week. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Still Brazen by M. Malone and Nana Malone was a very great book! This is the 3rd book that I have read by the pair. This is also the second book in their Duets series. It would be a good idea to read Brazen first before reading Still Brazen. These two authors didn’t disappoint at all! I couldn’t put my kindle down!
Still Brazen picks up where the first book Brazen left off. Hailey and Oskar had got married to keep her safe because someone was trying to kill her. Still Brazen begins with Hailey brother Evan holding the gun on her. Hailey finds out that she was adopted and the mother she thought was her mother wasn’t. This really hurts Hailey because her father had been lying to her all this time. Oskar is going to find out along with his boss Blake Security once and for all who are trying to kill Hailey once and for all so that they can get a quickie divorced.
Do Hailey and Oskar admit to each other that they still love each other? Do they finally find out who’s trying to kill Hailey? Do Hailey and Oskar live happy ever after? You will have to read Still Brazen to find out! Still Brazen has all you want in a romance novel! It has a little bit of suspense, romance, and sex. M. It’s finally here!!!! Malone Squared is pure magic in the way they are able to keep coming up with ways to captivate the readers!!! Still Brazen is hotter and fiercer than the Brazen, which I didn’t think was possible!!! If you aren’t in love with the characters in this series, I don’t know if you have a pulse.
Without giving away any spoilers, Still Brazen gives the Ladies of Blake Security their much deserved time jne the sun! We pick up where Brazen left off with the team still trying to fight off the danger surrounding Hailey. Oskar is even hotter and sexier as he dives deeper into his role as Hailey’s protecter and partner. Oh and did I mention just how badass the women are in this?!?!? This cannot be said enough! One of the reasons why I love reading this series, as well as some of the other series both Malones write, is due to there are so many strong female characters. They are no damsels in distress. These ladies are more than capable of rescuing themselves and the men in their lives! As a lover of romance novels, it is always refreshing to see characters this well written and fleshed out. As with Brazen, there is also lots of hotness to go around! If this is your introduction to Blake Security, welcome, grab a drink, and saddle up! Still Brazen is one hell of a ride!!!

A gorgeous bodyguard--yeah, gorgeous. His client/wife is just as hot. What's a guy supposed to do? He accidentally married her years ago--one of those Vegas things. He walked out the next morning with very good reasons. Not just that he isn't the marrying kind.
Assigned to guard the body he wants to be all over isn't easy. Oh, being all over her body is just where they both end up. Now he has to keep her safe, handle with the client relationship deal and more. In this group, no one should say a thing since most of them have ended up marrying the ones they are supposed to protect. Her father and brother aren't going to be happy about this.
The story and intrigue are superb. Figuring out the bad guy is not easy. Good luck. The team and their better halves are a riot. These ladies are every bit as tough as their husbands. Just one little peek, JJ scares them all. The steam-- let's just say it's thick and there is plenty of it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this whole story. I love the lovers and the team brings back fond memories of their stories. The banter is hysterical and sometimes includes a punch or five. All in love of course.

This book picks up where Brazen left off. It has everything you’re looking for plenty of action, intrigue, romance, heat and some very comedic moments because even in the most intense situations you can find humor. What I liked best though in this story is the tender moments between Oskar and Hailey. Watching their transformation between the two of them and within themselves shows that when the right situations come along you can change and there’s really nothing you can do about it, whether you want to or not.
Don’t worry about suspects you’ll have enough to go around and more story that you weren’t privy to before. I have to admit they got me. I thought I had it figured out but nope! Although, I wouldn’t mind delving a little deeper into certain aspects of the book. I would’ve enjoyed going further into one of the families. I felt like there was more to the family dynamic.
I’m a newbie to this series so I think I have to catch up with the previous books to get a good handle on all the characters.
Not sure if there is anymore in this series to come but I wouldn’t mind seeing where this team takes us next.

Still Brazen picks up right in the scene where Brazen ended. Someone is trying to kill Hailey, daughter of a perfume empire. Her life is turned upside down and she doesn't know why. She can't trust her parents or her brother. But she knows that she has Oskar and his team and that she can count on them.
I really enjoyed this ending to the duet. The story really picked up more in this book and I liked it better, but it made the overall story in both books better also. I do recommend reading them both at the same time, especially since the first book ends on such a cliffhanger. Oskar and Hailey are fire together. And all the women in the group are phenomenal! The girls-only mission was perfection.

This is the second book in the duet and although I enjoyed the previous book, this book gave me more. The story had a better pace, Oskar and Hailey were just perfect, the sex was hot hot hot!
After the cliffhanger in the first book this story continues where it left off with poor Hailey finding out some family secrets. I really felt for her, it was like she didn’t even know her family, but I would have liked to have seen a better end for their indiscretions.
Oskar, ever the protector, fully loves Hailey and would do anything to keep her safe. His complete honesty warmed my heart as so many hero’s try to hide things that only bring them trouble and I liked the fact that their was no ‘breakup’ keeping them apart but their story was far from easy.
Another great read in the Blake security world and pop ups from previous characters are always a plus for me. Great work ladies!

I've read so many stories by the Malones and this duet did not disappoint. I've read all of the books with the Blake Security men and they ladies for whom they fall, as well as the Royal books and have loved them all. The writing is compelling, with humor woven in with drama, danger, intrigue, suspense, and some good ol' steamy scenes as the alpha male and strong women they encounter battle their attraction amidst all the action. If cliff hangers bother you, wait until the second book comes out and then read them one after the other. I would also recommend reading the various duets in order - you'll get more out of them if you do, although each one works alone. Oskar and Hailey have a troubled past, a wild weekend in Vegas and years apart. A threat to Hailey's life brings them back together again and boy do things get crazy. You've got Hailey's brother, Evan, who has all kinds of issues, her dad who has many secrets, her alcohol-crazy mother who she just can't seem to please, and then all the confusion over why Oskar disappeared all those years ago. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop. Looking forward to reading Protecting the Heiress next!!

What a wonderful ending to the love story of Oskar and Hailey. The action picks up where Brazen left off and Oskar is trying to figure out where Hailey is, who was shooting at her, and if he can/should keep her in his life. He didn't want to leave her years ago when they were in Vegas, but he felt like he was doing what needed to be done to keep her safe. Now that he has her back in his life he doesn't want to let go.
Hailey just found out some shocking things about herself and her family, and to top it all off, her brother has a gun pointed at her. As Oskar works overtime to keep her safe, her family proves to be anything but honest or trustworthy. I am not sure I could even like some of her family if they were mine, after what they did to her.
Just when they think everything is going to be ok, someone from his past proves to be a thorn in their side. Her family is also against the marriage, but will she side with them or Oskar? I loved how the women came to the rescue and how they ended the book. A wonderful ending to their love story. A book filled with action, love, and betrayal.

This is not a standalone as it picks up where the previous book, Brazen, leaves off. It started out a little slowly but like a rollercoaster, it picks up steam and begins to thrust downward with tremendous momentum. Haliey and Oskar are falling deeper for each other and adjusting to married life. Hailey is prepping for the launch of her latest perfume and wants it all to go off without a hitch. However, the unexpected happens and she winds up staring down a gun at the hands of the person she least expected. Think that is all, then think again because there are some surprises coming for Oskar that can put not only him but some other members of the team in danger. This is one storyline that has Hailey learning about resiliency and how far she would go for the ones she loves and Oskar is learning to open up his heart. This book is filled with drama, action, and the strength of family. I would have liked an epilogue to give some future details into Hailey and Oskar’s life but I hope that it will come in another story.

4.5-Stars for the sexy conclusion of the Brazen Duet Series, Still Brazen
Malone & M. Malone certainly known how to write engaging duet series which is definitely shown in Still Brazen, Book 2 in the Brazen Duet series & the conclusion to Oskar & Hailey's story. Still Brazen, of course, picks up and continues after the cliffhanger at the end of Brazen. Typically, I am not a big fan of cliffhangers, but the double Malone's, somehow make them work to the point where I love the suspense in the all their duet series. Oskar has his demons in his past to deal with, but, Hailey is the stronghold he needs. She is constantly reminding him of the fact, that there is good in the world & as their connection grows, he no longer want more money & life on the run, he simply wants her. Their connection keeps growing & by the end seems unbreakable. This one has chemistry, heat, steam, and, by the end, the sexy, hot Oskar will make the reader swoon. 100% recommend the Brazen Duet, Brazen & Still Brazen, you don't want to miss this series so one-click!

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for an honest review. I loved this book. My only issues is that I believe that there could have been more of a resolution between Hailey and her family issues. There was so much more to explore about Hailey’s secret adoption, Miriam’s lack of affection towards Hailey, Sam’s covering up everything, and Evans’s mess of a life. I don’t think the family ever had it out and resolved it. It just faded away in the story. Ok so other than that the book was great. Oh Oskar!!! He was amazing. That He-Man of a Viking was brooding but with Hailey he was gentle, funny, and so intuned to her every emotion. The two of them are perfect together and always thinking about the others feelings. The story had it all intrigue, suspense, laugh out loud moments and fire starting bedroom sexy times. As always it was great to have the characters from Blake Securities be an intricate part of the Two Brazen books. Every man and woman in these books were bada$$. I hope there are more books to come. I’ve always loved Nana and now I love Minx too.
