What drew me to this title was the illustrations of the animals, the story line is rather confusing as it is three friends, duck, frog, and rabbit and being that there are three and one is of them is not usually included. Will the three ever work out this issue.

This book is about three animals who are a circle of friends. It seems that all three of them can never do anything together because of what they prefer to do. Rabbit can't swim, duck prefers the water, and so frog is left to playing with both since he can do either. Frogs birthday is coming up and duck and rabbit work together to celebrate his birthday. Frog isn't used to being the one left out and is very jealous that he isn't included. On frogs birthday after rabbit and duck working together, they surprise frog and find a way to all play together.
This is a great book to read to children about learning to work together. It also goes day by day, Sunday to Saturday, giving details of what the animals are doing. It's a great way to teach the days of the week.
