I really liked this book. It was funny, exciting, and had two of the most stubborn characters I've ever met, not to mention the two most easily offended.

First, Dr. Kate. When we meet her after the publication of her book it is understandable that she is a bit riled up. A man has been harassing her, she's been traveling none stop, and she has just met the most stubborn man on the planet who is making her feel like she has never felt before and he hates her. Combine all that with the fact that he job is on the line and she isn't enjoying all the publicity and it is enough to drive a woman insane.

Then we have Garth, a strong he-man type who blames "self-help" books like Dr. Kate's as the reason his marriage fell apart. Not only that, but his friend is running his business into the ground, his staff keeps taking off to catch the waves, and a beautiful woman just walked up to the front of the hotel and he doesn't know whether to be annoyed with her or make love to her. Combine all that with a man trying to break into his hotel and that same sexy woman sleeping in the next room and it's enough to drive a man insane.

Now, while I loved this book, at the same time there was one thing that bothered me. Both characters are stubborn, I get that, but both are so easily offended. Dr. Kate talks about listening in her book but neither bother to listen. Kate and Garth both take things to the extreme. Garth says something in good nature and Kate turns it into something bad. It was a little annoying.

Other than that, it was a good book. I enjoyed it and couldn't put it down. :)
