This is the 7th book of the Saving Forever Series. I have not read any of the previous book, but this seem to be a new focus of the series. I did not feel lost in starting this book without having read the previous 6 books. There is however a cliffhanger so if you want to know what happens to Julie and Simon, you will need to get part 8. Not sure when that will be coming out. All in all this was a fast paced story about hot, sexy doctors. Simon and Julie met in college and have been together ever since. They are both surgeons in the Neurology Department. Simon is the Head of the Department. They have been a team for the last 10 years in the operating room and in the bedroom as husband and wife, but the last year they have been drifting apart. Concentrating on their careers more than each other and Simon finds himself in bed with another. Now he is about to lose the only woman that he has ever loved. As Simon tries to win back Julie, the new intern assigned to Julie is also trying to win her over. Cade reminds Julie so much of the Simon that she fell in love with back in college. He makes her feel desirable. Another complication is Pam, the plastic barbie that Simon had the brief affair with. Read Saving Forever book 7 to see how this all plays out. Can’t wait to read book 8.

Awww Simon. Lord! Lies lies lies how sad. 3.5 star listen I enjoyed this one. Julie and Simon were great secondary characters in the first books in the series. I liked this one even tho the premise around the books sucks. Triggers - cheating and lies.
I enjoyed this book!!! I loved that Julie and Simon were trying to keep their marriage together even though Simon made many Mistakes and tried to work together and love how we get more of Charity and Elijah and the book.
I loved this book. I don’t usually like cheater books but the female lead is very strong and not a push over. The characters are great and it’s well written. Great narration from Beth.
I am starting the last one of the set now. This author is unbelievable. The characters are wonderful and this is a hot set of books that are hard to put down.
I have read all the books so far in this series. It's one of the best I have read. Lexy Timms really "gets" people and human emotions. Charity and Elijah are the two main characters, both genuinely good people who do the best they can for those around them. Together they are a force to be reckoned with, they are hot!
This is the seventh in the series but this story actually starts a new two-book thread that will finish in the finale. Julie and Simon Paulk were secondary characters up until now but they are front and center in a drama that made me angry and sad at the same time.
Simon and Julie have a lot in common. They are doctors, love their careers, and each other. When it all goes wrong, their whole lives are affected. Their jobs, their friends, everything. It speaks to the strength of this author’s appeal that I kept on reading as there are a few lines to never cross and this hit one of them right at the start. The characters though had a lot to say and I needed to keep hearing it as I turned page after page, trying to understand.
So much hurt and loss on both sides had me wanting to crawl into a pint of b and j’s chocolate. The story took some twists I wasn’t expecting and the cliffhanger? I knew there was one and I shouldn’t have been surprised but… I’m definitely anxious to see how this plays out…
Having read the first 6 books in this series, I was overly excited to read this one about Simon & Julie!
Being surgeons in a very demanding hospital only puts your love life on hold. Well, for Simon and Julie is only complicates things. Being married to your best friend, co-worker, & partner in the OR you'd would think its the best. Not in Simon and Julie's case. Being dedicated to your job as a surgeon is very challenging, having to sacrifice family time with hospital time is difficult. Especially when you are slowing losing everything.
Simon and Julie have to overcome multiple obstacles before they're able to truly trust one another.
I received a copy of this book from the Hurricane Readers group in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. I like the fact that the author gave us a chance to learn more about Charity's friends, and fellow doctors, Julia and Simon. I also like that the author kept Charity and Elijah in this story as well. My only complaint is that I was hoping they might have shown more of Julia and Simon's background story as well. All in all, another great book by this author, and another new series to follow about Julia and Simon.
I am heartbroken. Simon is a idiot, but he knows it and is willing to do anything to fix it. I just wish he wasn't such a bonehead. I really hope that he didn't do this on his own, I really hope he brought someone else into it.
Julie has gone though so much in such a small amount of time. I am surprised that she is holding up as well as she is. It doesn't seem possible.
