**Disclaimer: While it isn't necessary as this can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Hungry for More and Naughty or Nice by Alexa Riley as their are character crossovers and the latter story is our introduction to Lars.**

Lars, a cop currently working undercover, meets his next door neighbor, Tinkerbell. Okay, her actual name is Wendy, but with her petite size (especially against the sheer mass of his) and how she magically lightens the dark he has to surround himself in, he prefers his name for her.

Wendy is a struggling college student completely on her own as the only family she ever knew, her mom, died when she was sixteen. When she meets the scruffy, sexy looking man who lives in the apartment beside hers, she's understandably hesitant, but there's just something about him.

When Abby is unwillingly made a part of Lars' current case, a drug dealer expanding into kidnapping and human trafficking, she refuses to go quietly. Thankfully, her fighting nature buys her enough time for Lars to not only notice she's missing but to use the tracking app he sneakily installed on her phone.

Though Lars rescues Wendy before she's lost to him forever, he also knows the danger is still haunting her with the bad man being free. And as they spend time together, Lars is determined to show her the future they will have.

Can Lars keep her safe? Or will he lose his soulmate just as he's finally found her? Is a HEA possible?

Lars from Alexa Riley's Naughty or Nice is the hero in this book and I loved how Abby Knox took Lars and wrote him into this swoon-worthy alpha hero; while Wendy is the heroine by AK - she is sassy and sweet. Abby keeps up the Alexa Riley tradition with insta-love. Lars sees Wendy and knows that she is it for him. You have to read to get their love story. "Saved for Me" is steamy, intense and action-packed. If you like sassy heroines, alpha heroes and intense reads then this is the story for you!!

Plot: Wendy is a struggling college student living in a dangerous dump of an apartment while school is out for the break. Lars is a cop undercover with a gang involved in drugs, guns, and people trafficking. When Lars first sees his new neighbor, he can't quite describe the feeling (MINE!) but he puts surveillance on her - you know, just in case. It's a good thing, too, because Wendy ends up in the middle of the trouble going on in the neighborhood.

Commentary: The end? Pure ridiculousness. So much so that it left the bounds of normal ridiculousness for this sort of novella. It was too much, even tongue in cheek, even knowing it was an Alexa Riley commission. I almost rated it down a star, just for that. Firefighters, CIA operatives, hiking up a mountain and apprehending a criminal while chatting with kids on phone. Okay.

This was my first Abby Knox book and it won't be my last! I was excited about the prospect of this book when we met undercover cop Lars in Naughty or Nice - I could already tell there was a story with him and the mysterious girl he rescued! I really appreciate the forethought and planning that went in to giving us that Easter egg. I really enjoyed that Wendy, while innocent and naive, was not an idiot and she had snark/sass for days. I also liked that Lars was more than what he seemed on the surface. I could've done without the 10 years later epilogue (it stretched my ability to suspend disbelief a bit too far), but other than that I really enjoyed Saved For Me! I hope that Fletcher gets his own book (even though we know the name of his wife we didn't get his story). This was yet another in a string of excellent holiday themed novellas that I've had the pleasure of reading lately! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

It's was pretty good story until the 2nd epilogue. That was.... It just gave me a different vibe that didn't matched with the story itself. Maybe if there was explanation how Lars and Wendy got there, it would made it better. But now it gone from the 4 stars to 3.

This is my first book by this author and I know that it will not be my last. It was fast paced very entertaining.

We met Lars in Naughty or Nice by Alexa Riley but don’t worry it’s not necessary to read that book first. Lars is an undercover cop currently working and investigating in the underworld of prostitution and drugs. Living in a rundown apartment in a dangerous area when he sees Wendy for the first time, he immediately renames her Tink for her slight stature and she surrounds him in what he perceives as light in his dark world. Knowing that she doesn’t belong in the world she is currently inhabiting he decides to take precautions and pretty much stalks her from then on. When he discovers that she is missing he knows that something bad is going on and tears the world around him apart until he finds her and when he does this time he is claiming her as his but can he really keep her safe or will has he lost her before then can have the future he never knew he wanted?

Wendy is a struggling college student trying to make ends meet, she has been alone in the world for longer than she cares to remember and when the larger than life Lars enters her world is changed forever. When she is kidnapped she doesn’t go quietly and little does she know that she is now unwittingly wrapped up in the case that Lars is working. Being rescued by Lars she realises that her feelings for him are deeper than she realised but can she trust this intense and sudden attraction and is it really possible for her to get her Happy Ever after?

These two shared an insta intense connection from the start and it was a fun read. Will definitely reading more from this author in the very near future.

This was an ok story I am rating for 2.5 stars. I know I shouldn't expect more in the 70 or 80 pages story but this was a little bit too much fantasy for me. OK they meet for the first time, he takes her phone to put the tracker on her and then he saves her and then he tells her he loves her after one night ? I'm not sure what kind of Love Story this is but no one says I love you after spending one night together. No one normal at least.
I did like the fact that she was a little girl and he was a big big boy, metaphorically of course. If I ever had a fetish that would be it but with my 164 cm it would be difficult for me to find a big fella like him, who would make me feel tiny like a Tinkerbell.
Writing was easy to follow but I think the ending was a little bit much over the top. I am not spoiling anything but let's just say this didn't sound realistic.

Its so crazy how some author's can take the insta vibe and just run with and still bring all the feels at the end. Despite being such a short story this had all the chemistry, overbearing Alpha type male, and all the sweetness all packed in. Wendy and Lars had great chemistry. I will say that Lars was definitely the most developed of the characters. I think the author was going for bad A Wendy vibes but Tink didn't really deliver until the end in the epilogue lol. Cute, short HEA to start the day.

Slightly Over the Top in the Best Possible Way

Love this tie-in with the Alexa Riley stories. This one's got the protective, growly alpha male, the instalove, and the super sexy nudey times just like an AR story. But it has a special bonus: a sassy, strong, interesting heroine. She's not mousey, she's not delicate, and she's not needy.

Sassy, smutty, and adorably quirky.

I fell in love with this couple when they appeared for one minute in an AR novella. I knew right away that this hair-sniffing heroic brute and the scantily-clad beauty had a story to tell. And it's so funny, so juicy, it's over-the-top perfection.

As steamy as it is insta-love, the story of Lars and Wendy includes big man-tiny girl talk, love for tacos, a stalkerish meet-cute, peculiar and romantic emotional connection, a man who can't stop touching his woman, bare lovemaking, and two epilogues that put a spin your heart and a smile on you face. Especially the second epilogue. These two characters take their excitement and daring to a whole new level. Now, this author is a new favourite of mine!

This book was capturing from the get go, it was really well written and flowed from page to page, I loved reading how well the charecters fit together.

I absolutely loved this book and how Abby wrote Lars and Wendy. Lars was just a big adrenaline Junkie Teddy Bear who definitely knows what he wants and just barrels through to get it. Wendy was definitely a tiny ball of sass and a smart mouth who is not affraid to say what she wants.

I would recommend this book and author to anyone who love a quick insta love between to very full on charecters that know what they want. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

We met Lars and Wendy in Alexa Rilye's book Naughty or Nice we get a small pre-view how Wendy was in the club and after that moment.. Lars was like every alpha male Protective, Stalkerish, charming and 10000% on his girl no one else, Wendy girl has had a rough time since the age of 16/17 being a orphan living on friends floors making hardly no money and she was to trusting.. the chemistry was good between the two banter the sass when she finds out he has a tracker on her car and phone  (he's a cop lol)

Lowish angst,  no ow/om drama, small secondary chara, no cheating, some steamy moments, no manwhore guy and a virgin gal..

While it's not necessary, I feel it has to be mentioned that Lars (the hero of this title) is actually first mentioned in Alexa Riley's Naughty or Nice novella. So if you have a hankering for Christmas lovin' get that novella as well!

Now on to Saved For Me.
Lars and Wendy's story was actually really sweet. We have Lars who is an undercover cop trying to bust one of the biggest crime lords in the city. He's older, gruff, and when he meets Wendy he's down right filthy. However, that doesn't stop Lars from realizing that someone as innocent, sweet, and nice as Wendy shouldn't be living in the kind of area they are. So he deems himself now her protector as well.
Wendy attends the university on scholarship. But during the holidays it just cost too much extra to stay, so she's forced to find other living arrangements. She has also deemed it necessary to find some extra work by putting an ad on Craiglist for babysitting work. But this has put her in danger in the hands of the drug lord Lars is trying to investigate.

Honestly, this is probably one story I wish I wouldn't have read the epilogues.
This book contains 2 and both are completely outrageous.
First having both husband and wife working as spies for the CIA is a doable thing...I just couldn't bring myself to believe someone as ditzy as Wendy would be a spy.
The second one with Lars now working as a fireman...yeah I'm just not even going to go there because no fire chief in his right mind is going to let one of his men go off to have sex with his wife to work off the adrenaline while still at a fire scene.

What's better than insta-love?
Stalkerish, big alpha, who can't keep his hands of the heroine, insta-love! This book had it all. Super sexy, and fun to read.

Also this story has such great characters! Wendy was not a push over and had enough sass to deal with a burly, growly, man like Lars.

I could not put this book down, and it hit with so much sexy. I'm a sucker for a slightly needy Hero who has a few.weird habits. They are my kryptonite and this book was just what I needed!

I think this was one of the worst talks during sex I have read. Also, if someone is asking to use protection, I hate to see the other person trying to convince against it (especially if the woman wants to use protection).
This h was TSTL. The H, being a cop, should have known better as well.
The second epilogue was so bad I had to drop another star. CIA spies? Answering a FaceTime with your kids while arresting a criminal? Making out with the h sitting on top of the arrested man? Really? Was there no one to say “enough!” To the author?
The writing style and overall pace were good, but the execution was just so bad that I wasn’t able to enjoy this book.

Lars is here, Lars is here...I just like saying that...eerrrr typing it😉. Sweet read. This is Lars book, from Alexa Riley’s book Naughty or Nice. Lars is the cop that helped Brian, they were both saving their women.

Rewind, Lars and Wendy aka Tink, are neighbors. He is pretty smitten with her, so being the over the-top-cop alpha he is, he tracks her car and phone. I know, I know...but it saved her, so all’s good. This was a safe read, no ow or om drama, just the kidnapper bs. An OTT alpha cop, and a tiny feisty virgin. Shit ton of baby batter, epilogues and an adventurous hea.

Not Bad

This was a pretty entertaining story. It was quick, sweet and sexy! Lars is an undercover cop who falls in love the moment he meets his neighbour Wendy. Because they live in a sketchy area he decides to keep tabs on her and it is a good thing he did! This is my first book by Abby Knox and I enjoyed it. There were a few spelling issues and grammatical mistakes but nothing too bad. This book is completely safe, no op drama. It does involve human trafficking but nothing happens there. She is a virgin and his status isn’t mentioned.
