The Science Officer #5

The Doomsday Vault

Rate this book
It seemed like a legitimate heist when someone hired Storm Gauntlet and her crew to go hijack some cargo. Pirate ships did that sort of thing. However, whoever hired them didn't count on the Science Officer's sneakiness. Paranoia. Whatever. The situation didn't make sense. No one would deliver cargo to a dead planet. It had to be a trap. Someone had set them up.But who? And why?"The Doomsday Vault" follows the adventures of Javier Aritza, Suvi, and the rest of the crew of Storm Gauntlet in a story with unexpected twists, as well as surprising consequences. This is the fifth novella in the Science Officer series, and the beginning of the mini-series, "War of the Pirate Clans", to be continued in the next novella, "The Last Flagship".Part of the Alexandria Station universe.

Ah it vegins

The holy quest has begun, and no one's more ready for it than those of us who are reading. It's the captain the captain or the AI the captain, and who really knows why the grenades are launched before the doors fully opened. I currently have not imagined the amount of fear that the cloaking in front of a ship with destroyer level guns must feel like.

As Expected

If you’ve read the previous four books you know that each installment, picks up basically where the previous book left off, which is good. For me, this installment was a little on the technical side; however, the characters are developing nicely.

Put all these books together a d you have a real book. But its good enough to suck me in. It's gotta be a new E book strategy. Money maker no doubt.
