Can Nathan survive these new enemies and the mad king bent on his destruction?
The Mad King is the sixth book in the Stoneblood Saga by Robyn Wideman. This is a fast-paced, character-driven fantasy series that blends classic coming-of-age adventure with the grit and unpredictability of a dangerous magical world. Across the multiple books, the saga follows our MC through political intrigue, deadly battles, and ancient powers. The worldbuilding is rich and immersive - from bustling cities to dangerous wildernesses, every setting feels alive, and the magic system adds depth to both the plot and character/s continued development. If you enjoy underdog heroes, epic battles, and a dash of mystery, then you might want to explore these books with their satisfying blend of adventure and emotional stakes. Happy Reading…
This is one of those series that you can't wait for the next book to come out. Great characters and story that keeps the pages turning. You'll root for them and want the best turn out possible. Me, I can't get over the characters in this series and the Hanna Halfblood series. They are so strong and just plain great to read about. Great Reading Everyone!
So this Author is a good writer he just does on thing that made me quit reading this book before I was finished and that is he kills off main characters for no reason. You take a bunch of time to get attached to Characters and he kills them for no reason. If you like that kind of stuff then you will love this story.
Way too many characters died Yes there is a lot going on Yes having some main characters die makes the story more realistic I am just really bummed The dude with purple eyes just never developed So much potential
Great story The deaths made me very concerned about the ending Hopefully there are a lot more stories!
I always look forward to a Nathan Stoneblood book. Definitely a favorite of mine. It kills me every time a character I like dies, what really sucks is that 3 1/2 died. If you want to know why I say 1/2, read the book.
What a fantastic end to the series. Except, there are more books now.
This has been an incredible adventure. It's hard to believe I read this last book in 3 days. I think this waa the most exciting and active book in the series. So much going on everywhere.
Again this is a light, quick read. The editing is much better and although it is classed as a YA it doesn’t simplify the writing as much as previous books. Looking forward to the next one
