My daughter loves this one, especially running her little fingers along all the different textures on every page.

I have to read it cause her mom can’t roll her “Rs”...

Pretty cute board book with textures on every page. Simple text that doesn't try to rhyme awkwardly; just states "that's not my flamingo, its wings are too soft!" and variations on that theme throughout. Adorable and fun.

A simple board book en espanol con mucho flamenco. I learned some new words and am not sure about others. There's a fun texture on every page (including the cover). Found at a random booksale (these people just sell books in front of their house once a quarter or so) and gifted to a little in my life.

This is a short, fun little book. I love how the story starts on the cover and the tactile elements are great for interactive reading with your toddler. My son's favorites are the rough feet, smooth egg, and fluffy body.

The fabrics used could’ve had greater variety. Fuzzy, soft, and fluffy were just too similar.

The books in the "That's not my..." series can be an interesting read for young babies. A common downside of the series is that the content is overly similar and repetitive, e.g., limited vocabulary and texture, and no background story or specific facts about the characters. The depiction of the flamingo having a tail and laying eggs in the mud is factual.
