48 minutes An asteroid parks on Earth orbit, and Alex Jones is sent to collect samples and figure it out. But the passenger is chatty and his revelations are mind-blowing.
George Saoulidis writes sci-fi with a mythic twist—ancient Greek gods, cyberpunk futures, and the occasional romantic comedy. Based in Athens, he’s the creator of God Complex, Cyberpink, and dozens of quirky, unsettling stories. If it’s weird, witty, or a little icky, it’s probably his.

( Format : Audiobook ) "Hello." A twenty minute short of sheer de!ight. Terror strikes the earth when an asteroid is spotted heading directly on a collision course, but instead of crashing, it goes into orbit. An astronaut is Sent out to inspect it. Perfectly read by Ralph Scott, with both clarity and good intonation, this amusing story is made even more unreal by the doubling of end credits which increases a sense of surrealism. My thanks to Mythographers who, at my request, freely gifted me a complimentary copy of Astropithicus. Great fun.
I really need to pay attention! I really don’t like short stories! Not because they’re not good but it’s like right when you’re getting into it it’s over! :/ I have to admit though I enjoyed it very much. It was paced just right and made me laugh. I was given this audiobook at my request in exchange for an honest review.
The concept was unusual, I give the author kudos for that, but I think it would have been better for the story had it been a bit longer in the telling. There wasn't really enough time to get to know the characters, I thought, and the discussion moved too quickly through the various topics to be considered reasonable. There was a lot of potential here, and I felt most of it was, not wasted exactly, but rather ignored.
This was a crazy, wonderful story. I loved the content and the way it was narrated. It is short and there isn't a way to describe it better than the summary. Read it, listen to it, just enjoy it. This is the way a short story should be. See you in 50 years.
This story was given to me for free at my request for my voluntary and unbiased review.
This well paced and humorous little story will make you laugh and maybe think a little bit. As we search for other intelligent beings to share with, perhaps we should start at home. This is a good read well written. "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."
