From Bestselling Author, Skye Callahan, comes a new Dark Romance that is part of BLAIRE’S WORLD.

About SERAFINA:

Seven years. Six hits. A hundred secrets. Syndicate leaders blackmailed. Wives and children set up to take the fall. A spy among the most dangerous of men.

Sometimes seductress.

Sometimes assassin.

I'm the girl at the party everyone looks at, but no one remembers.

I was trained to be ruthless, stripped of emotion and empathy, and yet something inside me, something logic and reason will never touch, yearns to be more than the beautiful facade crafted by my master. I want some part of the fantasy to be real. A touch. A kiss. A glance just for me. But none of it’s ever for me because there is no me.

I am olvidado. Forgotten. Until I meet the one man who refuses to forget me.

Title: ➳ ❤- Serafina
Series ➳ Blaire's World Series
Author: ➳Skye Callahan Nikita Slater
Publication: February 26th 2019
⭐⭐

ღ Serafina has spent her life doing someone else's bidding. At 10 years old she committed her 1st murder, & for the following 10 years old she did only what she was told do … nothing more nothing less. She was spy, she was killer, she was his whore need be
Somewhere along the way he betrayed. He sent her on a mission unprepared, she went blindly & willingly, Cuz she had once trusted him

💕 - when she taken by one of their enemies & tortured. Now she finds herself in a stranger home & she don’t if he is her new found enemy or new found Savior

🔪 Honestly, I felt like this book had so much potential, but it was lacking so much for my satisfaction… There is no way that I can truly say this is a Dark read in my opinion… The story was left a bit unresolved which makes think there might be a part 2.Mind you I believe this author has so very great writing skills even after saying all that

----------- Happy Reading -----------

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review 💕 Also I wouldn’t discourage anyone from reading it.

➦ I think that I might try Kristoff: Measha Stone
next in BLAIRE’S WORLD…. I’m still willing to give this series another chance …Wish me luck

A fast paced, dark and twisty read

I came to this story via Blaire's World and this is a new-to-me author. I enjoyed her writing style and soon found myself caught up in 'Sera' and Galeno's story. This isn't a pitch black read, since the darkness isn't in the relationship but rather events that occur. However there are still some very intense moments and violent acts that we don't always witness first hand. It's length puts it right on the novella/novel border, and whilst I personally would have liked a little more depth in a few scenes it was still a very well executed story.

This is one of those books where information is slowly released as the plot progresses. Whilst this left me a little puzzled at first as to what was happening I did like it. Particularly as 'Sera' is similarly confused at the out of control circumstances surrounding her, so it really allowed me to empathise with her position. I really loved the character of Sera, life has dealt her a fairly crappy hand, so it was good to see Galeno changing that. I didn't feel as though I knew him quite as well, but he was still a rounded character and easy to believe in.

You don't need to have read any of the other Blaire books, this truly does read as a stand alone. I'm happy to recommend it to those that like and edge of darkness in their books and I will definitely look out for more work by this author.

"Olvidado. Forgotten.
That was my life. Until all of those forgotten things came back to drive me crazy.

I need more more MORE. Serafina is my cherry popper into Blaire's world, all standalones from many different authors. I love the concept, however I feel a bit behind, I didn't know what kind of world I was being introduced to. And I definitely felt underwhelmed with the ending with this one, it was left open ended, which I don't normally mind, I'm just not sure if there's another book coming or if that was the way it was supposed to play out. Mysterious with that twist of addiction. Because I sure want more. But nonetheless I ended up loving what I did get.

Serafina aka Spy has me begging for more. I'm all about girl power, and I was elated to see her find that push to break her chains. I'd categorize this as Mystery & Suspense with a dab of Romance! Romance a sliver, but could ultimately have the potential to make me want more. I was all about the mystery with this one. Hey, don't get me wrong. Galeno was just as mysterious. I mean, who doesn't like a hot AF man that plays by his own rules? Said no one ever.

I can't give much away in fear of spoiling. I hope Callahan is writing more to this story, I'd really love that. Hint hint, Author. I'd like to read some of the other stories attached as well, especially Blaire. This was like the tip of your tongue dipping into a blissfully prepared dessert and not getting a full bite!

I loved Serafina!! In the beginning of the book, I wasn’t sure who the hero was going to be. The twists and turns were great and I was literally on the edge of seat reading. Galeno, even though he’s part of the cartel, is fiercely loyal to those he loves. I love the Blaire’s World Series. This is definitely a five-star read.

Olvidado - forgotten

Serafina has spent her life doing someone else's bidding. Failure is not an option and not getting exactly what is asked for leaves to painful consequences. Sent to Canada with no explanation leaves her taken and taken again.

Galeno sees something in her broken body that calls to him. But Sera is as feisty as they come and she trusts no one. She has been programmed from a young age to be forgotten and to hide in the shadows. She extracts information and is loyal to the one who broke her. But with Galeno there is hope for something different. No less bloody, but different.

This is short but packs a hell of a punch. It was deliciously dark with suspense and some twists and turns. It was also something that could be expanded upon as there were characters who could have stories to tell. This was my first time reading this author and will not be my last. I see a whole catalog of dark that I need to check out.

She had been taken at 10years old, trained in many languages, trained to fight and learned to take pain all types of pain, as she was a nobody and could then become whatever he needed her to become as his spy, his killer, and his toy to control. What he wanted she willingly gave as she knew no other life. That was until he betrayed and sold her to another without her knowledge. She was broken both physically and mentally, until she woke up again in an unknown place. Why isn't he hurting her?, she doesn't understand pain and suffering is all she knows, and to crave his attention. What happens next is unexpected after such an torturous emotional dark read that confirms that all you have is yourself. A well written emotional read filled with so many emotions, that leave you always wanting more. A must read in another Blairs World Series story.

What can I say about Serafina because HOLY HADES she is one kick arse heroine that had me on the edge of my seat wondering where this story was going to go and where it took me was a place I need more of. I need more of Serafina and her kick arse attitude just wanting to be loved and have something more than she does but not getting it because she is looked at like she is nothing. She is considered the forgotten one but holy hell when Galeno enters the picture shiz hetas up and I need more Galeno because he is fierce and loyal to those he loves.

What happens when the one person you trust commits the ultimate betrayal? A tragic event at the age of ten changed her life forever. Now she's alone in the world except for Jorge. Her job is to be whoever and whatever he dictates. Failure is not an option. When her current mark dies unexpectedly, he calls her home. Her next assignment seems off. She has no instructions. Just a new identity and a destination point. When things go sideways she tries to go to a safe place in her mind where she can't feel pain or be hurt. When she's rescued by a stranger who wants nothing from her she's suspicious. Everyone has an ulterior motive. Can she really trust someone who only wants her? This story will have to second guessing who can be trusted until the very end. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Wow another brilliant insight into Blaire’s World this time with Serafina and Galeno, Galeno runs the Los Zetas operation in Canada and Serafina is a broken and damaged assassin. The relationship between these two is smoking, even though Serafina is damaged, broken, untrusting and adrift with what has happened to her she can still feel and that in some ways is harder to deal with than the years of conditioning that she has lived. Plenty of angst and the HEA that I like, also felt there was another story brewing with Galeno’s sister Elena and Lucero🖤 loved it five stonking stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 enjoy!

Serafina is a great story branching from the Blair series. This story is about a young girl who became a soldier for Jorge. He broke and trained her and sent her on a mission with no information.
Serafina has to figure out what her "job" is and everything goes wrong from there.
A great story with a lot of action and sexual innuendo.

As a spy, Sera goes where she is told...becomes who she needs to be and doesn’t ask questions...until she is the one that’s taken. Can she escape or will her new captor be more than she bargained for? Galeno is the leader of the Los Zetos cartel. He is an enigma to Sera but one she isn’t sure she can trust. This was such a great book from the very beginning you are hooked! If you like dark romance you will enjoy this one!

I have to say I really enjoyed Skye Callahan's novella in Blaire's World! I ESPECIALLY loved Galeno!!! There was just something about him that DID IT for me!!! I fell for him almost instantly and COMPLETELY! He was a surprising, but welcome, change from the typical syndicate man who is out to use and abuse the women in their world, treating them like they are less than nothing!

I felt like the hero, Galeno and the heroine, Serafina kinda switched places in the typical set up in this genre....and I liked it! Serafina has been trained, brutally, to be loyal to her "master". She's sent to infiltrate her masters' enemies camps to obtain the info to be used to blackmail them by whatever means necessary....and she's VERY good at what she does, to the point of being almost inhuman. I found her to be incredibly strong, but I had trouble connecting with her on an emotional level, somewhat, until near the end.

All in all, I would say that Serafina is definitely one that I would recommend to anyone who likes a dark romance

Holy crap! I wasn’t sure what I was walking into but I had no idea i would be at the edge of my seat the entire time! My heart was racing I couldn’t put it down! I had to read it all in one sitting, I didn’t wanna miss anything because I felt like if I blinked I would.

This story had me hooked from the very beginning. I can honestly say I feel like I could totally relate to Sera in my own special way because it was so real. The author paints an incredible picture with this story with so much detail. Serafina was so emotional, so raw and powerful that I felt what was happening in my soul.

There were a couple really funny lines but I highly recommend this book if you want a heart stopping, gut wrenching, beautifully powerful story of healing and love that you just can’t put down.

Serafina is a spy/assassin at the top of her game, trained by her master to be forgotten. Her latest assignment has her in all kinds of trouble, and she ends up being saved by a man named Galeno, although she's not sure that he doesn't mean harm. This story was one huge maze of twists & turns so I was dropping f-bombs right & left, as I wasn't sure what the hell was going on to be honest. All I knew is that I wanted to take out everyone who tried to hurt Serafina, because she got a raw deal, although she would never allow anyone to say that. So yeah, this story was off the charts intense, but my one issue that kept me from the perfect rating was the ending that seemed a bit too rushed after my emotions had been raked over the coals. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow, I just loved this. It is intense and gripping. Not as dark as I expected but still an excellent read. Got this ARC and so glad I did. There must be a follow-up. Can't wait to see where it leads to from here. Won't say more as I don't want to leave any spoilers.

I was so excited to receive these unique stand alone books that were spin offs of Anita Gray's Blaire Series, written by different authors. This unique concept has intrigued me and we've been waiting for what seems like forever! I love the collaborative rapport Gray has managed to create, bringing readers a fresh and different narrative to her already successful storyline.
It's no secret I am a huge Anita Gray fan and her books are so heart wrenching and disturbing that I was truly looking forward to seeing how this plan of hers panned out.
I'm happy to say that Serafina does not disappoint. Obviously it's not Gray, as it shouldn't be; rather, it's Callahan's unique style that left me falling in love with her two characters and appreciating her rendition of the dark underworld of the Los Zeta's.
I love Galeno. There's something about his patience and ability to see through Serafina's messed up personality and situation that gives him a level of depth I truly appreciate.
This book has it all and with just the right amount. It's not overly dark and suffocating, but dark enough. It's not romanticized and completely unrealistic, but has just the right amount of love and intrigue. It's a quick read and has you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.
Plus...I love Serafina's strength in the midst of her chaos and how the human aspect constantly peeks through, especially within the battles she has with herself and her feelings.
Well done.

I absolutely loved this book!
Everything about it was fantastic!
The writing, the plot and the amazing characters.
Sera has had a difficult life since childhood and gotten worse with time.
She was taken at a very young age and was taught to obey her master without question.
She was made into killing machine and it was beat into her to turn off her feelings and emotions.
Sera’s life wasn’t her own. But she was only alive to do ask her master as ordered, spy and kill.
Since being in the presence of her master starting from a very young age she never got to know herself or her wants.
Galeno omg that man is everything!
He’s sexy,he’s sensual and he’s a bad man.
To fit into that world he lives in he needs to be that kind of man.
But Ms. Callahan wrote him in such a way that there is no way not to fall in love with him.
Along with his darker side he’s also got good qualities.
Which is why this antihero is so lovable.
Together Sera and Galeno make an explosive couple.
I loved seeing the dynamics between them.
Her uncertainty, his patience made for an exceptional combination.
And their sexual chemistry was steaming and sizzling.
I loved every minute of Serafina.
This book is an outstanding fit in the Blaire World!

It took me way to long to get through this book. Which is nuts considering it’s not long at all. Unfortunately I found this one very bland. The story line was missing a lot of details that would’ve made it more interesting for me. For example the physical description of both the MC’s lacked. I found Sera bland and nothing stood out to me about her. Maybe if there was more of a back story instead of just glimpses into her past it would’ve given her character depth, but I wasn’t invested in her at all. Galeno had more of a personality, but I didn’t get his motivation for wanting Sera so much. There was no build up in his affection for her. I felt no real connection or chemistry with them. I stuck through to the end even though I wasn’t invested because I was hoping more would be revealed to make me like Sera more. But the climax for me was disappointing.

The story was left a bit unresolved which makes think there might be a part two. I can see why others would like it, and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from from reading it. It just wasn’t for me. If there is a part two I won’t be reading it.

Exciting, Entertaining Blaire's World is that and more, next in the series is Serafina (love the name btw) by Skye Callahan. I've had the pleasure of reading Skye's books before very talented storyteller.

At a young age you grew up fast, throughout your life you're trained to be the perfect tool, through lies, beatings and brutal treatment. It's all you are, it's all you know, it's all you will ever be.

When he spots her all bets were off and both of their lives will be changed. What's he want? what's his game? Surely if I keep testing him he's going to snap and dole out an acceptable punishment. She's intriguing a beauty like no other, layers of herself I want to peel back and get to know. The danger is real and always present for me and he isn't acting as he should. I'm not chained or in the darkest of cells, but his prisoner I am.

Wonderful storyline and characters, a great addition to the series. Loved the cover and the length of the book. Enjoy

“I know the seduction game, this isn’t it. This isn’t a game. This is electrifying. Consuming. Confusing.”

I would say Serafina is the most different out of all the books but by far one of the most intriguing storylines. I really enjoyed this story immensely (Spoiler: .5 off for not truly understanding her back issues. Did it come from her training from her father? Or Jorge? Or is it a medical condition? It wasn’t ever specified.) Something about it just draws you into Sera’s background and just the way she is. The writing is spectacular and yes, it has dark elements but the author really conveys that even though it’s not readily mentioned through themes. Through the darkness, there is a brightness that lights the way and within Serafina its conveyed.

Serafina by Skye Callahan, another gripping read in the Blaire's World series.

Serafina has always known who she was supposed to be, what her job was, until she is sent to Toronto with nothing but a name. She wakes up in a house, confused with no recollection of how she got there but free to leave whenever she likes.
Galeno is part of the cartel, he should be trying to get information from her but theres something about Sera that grabs his attention. All he wants to do is help her and care for her. If only Sera would let her guard down and trust him.

Not as dark as other reads in this series but it got my attention right from the start. An interesting storyline which intrigued me and kept me reading. Not forgetting the underlying chemistry between Sera and Galeno. I feel like there could be more to this story, I hope so anyway so I'll be keeping a look out for more.

Blaire’s World: Serafina
Blaire’s World: Serafina
I have enjoyed this series and this book especially. Imagine Mission Impossible’s spy Ethan meets Underworld’s Kate Beckinsale with the main character as female. Serafina (aka Rune) is a bada$$ spy for Jorge, an undisclosed crime lord since she was 10 years old. She endures a lot of violence as a spy & assassin yet remains a virgin. However her latest assignment is different from the previous 10 years of servitude. This clues her in (premonition/suspects) on something nefarious about to happen to her. Only to be rescued by Galeno, Decena’s cousin & proxy boss for the Toronto Los Zetas. Short story. Constant action. There is no real timeline within Blaire’s World of when this takes place. So no chronological order in reading is necessary. Well written and again a really good read.

Omg what a book. This is the first book I've ready by Skye and holy smokes why haven't I read any of her book's before. I'll definitely be looking into that.
This is just one of the Blaire's World stories in this series and for it to be a short read this story packed a punch.
This is about Serafina who at the early age of 10 had been taken and trained to be the perfect weapon, but as she's gotten older she starts thinking that maybe she could have more but as her master tells her she is olivadado-forgotten and he ends up selling her to someone else to someone who is cruel, but then Galeno sees her and thinks maybe there's more to this girl that meets the eye, because he soon finds out she's feisty and won't quit.

This is just my opinion and my review

Serafina is yet another good addition to the Blaire’s World Series.

Serafina is our feisty, strong heroine who gets lost along the path of life, bending to the will of her creator, and ultimately paying the highest of prices, which is where we meet the mysterious, yet endearing Galeno, our very gorgeous, very patient hero, who warmed my heart. She needs to dig deep and find the answers & he wants to be there to catch when she does.

I didn’t feel as connected to our heroine as I would have liked & because of that I did struggle to get the feels & emotions between both of them. That said I did get more invested as the story played out & thought the end was quite fitting.

Readers beware that this is a dark read that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Olvidado aka Forgotten, was taken as a small child. She was abused, brainwashed, and trained by her Master Jorge to be a spy and killer. Olvidado is rescued by Galeno when she is taken during a failed trip to Canada. Galeno sees something in Olvidado and wants to help set her free from the abuse and the brainwashing that her Master has done over the years. With the setting free, Galeno changes her name to Serafina because she is not forgotten. Serafina is a strong woman who has endured many physical and emotional abuses. She is one bad a$$ woman. I will be reading more from the author.

Serafina is a great 4 star novella by Skye Callahan who is a new to me author but after reading this I'm definitely one clicking more books from this author.
Galeno and Serafina's story is so compelling and left me feeling a plethora of emotions.
Whilst not as dark as the others in this series it still gave me exactly what I needed from this novella.
It's dark, gritty and left me wanting more, like any good book does.
Serafina may have been trained to be forgotten but this novella definitely won't be.
