One Christmas Song by A.C. Arthur was a sweet second chance at romance themed book with some Christmas magic thrown in the mix. I enjoyed the plot. Cordy comes back to her home town after 14 years away and stays at the b&b that her old flame now owns and runs. The mysterious Jasper whipping up good meals and dishing out sage advice to our wayward couple.

This is a sweet second chance at love story. Cordy left home at 18 to be on a singing competition show. Before she left, she and best friend Rick slept together. 14 years passed before Cordy returns home. She is now CeCe Lennox, world famous R & B star. She’s home to film a music video in Rick’s inn. The book ends in a very sweet HEA. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a low angst Christmas romance.

Short and really sweet! R&B singer, Cordy, returns to her hometown, 14 years after she left. Even though Rick, her first love, is happy to see her, a lot of her envious, former friends and neighbors, are not! And the reasons why, are really quite interesting.

This is a new to me author that was recommended by a fellow reader. I was pleasantly surprised at how much love, family, small town and memories were in the short story. I do enjoy a young love, moving on, and then coming back to where it all started. Cordy, famous singer, and Rick her first love, come together again in Temptation, VA right before Christmas. Cordy is resistant but with the help of Jasper, the angel of the story, Cordy figures out where she needs to be and with who she needs to be with. Sweet hea.

This is a sweet novella. Corey comes back to her hometown after being gone for 14 years. She left town to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer. She comes back to town for Christmas and to film a music video. While in town she is reunited with her childhood best friend, Rick. Rick introduces her to the town and its members again. Corey begins to realize what has been missing in her life and the need for more of a balance.

Another Great AC Arthur story
I fell in love with the town of temptation from the first Taylor's of Temptation story and it was great revisiting it again. Cordy and Rick were old friends as well as first lovers reconnecting after years apart. Cordy has really wanted to come home for years but was afraid of dealing with her feelings for Rick. Rick has loved Cordy since they were kids and was ready to use her being home to profess his love for her. An unexpected secret that Rick was keeping from Cordy was revealed almost ruining things before he can tell her. In the end of love won out and they found the happily ever after. I think AC may have revealed the characters of her next Taylor's of Temptation book, with the Taylor sibling mentioned in this story, and the new comer to Temptation. Can't wait until 2019 to see if I'm right. Great story AC enjoyed all of your 2018 releases and look forward to those in 2019. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Cordy & Rick were childhood best friends who loved each other. Just as their feelings surfaced as teenagers, Cordy received a dream of a lifetime that set them to forge different paths. Fourteen years later, Cordy is back in her hometown, and she and Rick soon discover that even time apart doesn’t sever true love, but will they give into their Temptation?
This was a quick, sweet, and loving romance. It had all the charm of a classic Hallmark Christmas movie. While the twist added a quick element of surprise, it also seemed like it didn’t fit because it was a little too unexpected. Nevertheless, it was nice holiday read and a classic AA love tale that we enjoyed.

What a Christmas Song this was!
Cordy and Rick reconnect after fourteen years to learn nothing about their love for each other has changed except to get stronger. Some of the other characters were devoid of good manners and harbored their own brand of hatred and what could be correctly termed jealousy toward our hero Rick and our heroine Cordy. The story was a good one that captured the feel and culture of a well knitted together small community of friends and relatives who have all become family through shared experiences. Excellent story Ms Arthur, excellent story indeed!

Holiday Magic
I loved this trip back to Temptation and really enjoyed reading Cordy and Rick’s story. Cordy a singer who left Temptation and hadn’t returned for many years, Rick was the guy she left behind. Rick knew she’d come back one day and he was willing to wait. Cordy was back to shoot a video and Rick couldn’t be happier, although there was one secret he kept from Cordy. Great quick romance story. As always A.C. Arthur you didn’t disappoint.

Slow build up!
Was trying to figure out why this book was not focusing on one of the Taylor girls but it all worked out. This novella was like a warm, tasty treat. It’s seventy degrees but the book makes me feel warm and toasty and in need of some of that cocoa they’re drinking. Surprises were woven in nicely and the stage for future books was noticeably set. Much to look forward to.

4 stars. Such a sweet and romantic little novella. I loved that Cordelia was a famous R&B singer returning to the the town of Temptation. This is a second chance, friends to lovers and it was lovely. Rick was a total sweetheart and he was just so in love with Cordelia. I really do wish this had been a full length novel because both characters were wonderful and likable. I’m sad this series is over but I’m excited to read Arthur’s other books. She’s a fantastic writer.

Something About Christmas!
I just love stories based around Christmas! It's the most romantic time of year to me and the fact that this book alludes to the fact Jasper is an angel in cupids crew is another plus for me! The overall storyline is nostalgic and the things romance is made of! This is one I'd read again and again as well as added to my favs list!

Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Rick and Cordy are a good match. The personalities of some the towns residents was entertaining. I recommend this book.

Home town love never fails. This was a sweet holiday story with a pleasant twist and tease of a new love. Thanks for tying the Taylors and Donovans into this novella. Cordy and Rick was cute and sweet just like the cookies they baked.

I was in awe of this book and the love story of Rick and Cordy. This book had me enjoying the love they had and Jasper knew the right words to say and just when to say them. This book had me wanting to know what was going to happen next.

I love Cordy and Rick's love story! Not sure why Meg and Elsa are always miserable. I hope to find out more about the mysterious Jasper. Off to read the next Temptation story!
