Our copy is used every summer and we take it along when we camp. Our goal is to complete every hike outlined in this book. By far the best resource on great hikes in Shenandoah.

Didn't read this in its entirety. Simply used as a reference for the trails we were using. Better information than the government brochures, but nowhere near the detail of what the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club can provide. I am better off for having relied on this. My visit to Shenandoah was more enjoyable.

Some nice hikes inside, and hours of entertainment. However, some of the hikes are a bit confusing to follow since the trails they use continue and a few of the landmarks used are hard to spot. All in all, a very solid outdoorsman's guide.

A solid hiking guide, although a little sparse on description. My particular edition was published in 1998, so is probably quite out of date. Still, gave me some good ideas of where to go in the park.
