Case Studies in Abnormal Psychology

Rate this book
The casebook provides 17 additional case histories based on the authors' clinical experiences, each going beyond DSM-IV diagnosis to describe the individual's history and symptoms, a theoretical discussion of treatment, a specific treatment plan, and the actual treatment conducted. The casebook also provides 3 cases without diagnosis or treatment, so students can identify disorders and suggest appropriate therapies.

Fascinating case studies in abnormal psychology. Studies include actual clients and details their history, clinical symptoms and treatments.

It was definitely full of case studies. I don’t know how accurate I believe it is compared to today in some cases but for a beginner to abnormal psychology it might would be okay. That being said, I’m sure there’s better ones out there.
