Hello! My name is Tabitha Gibson. I’ve been writing since I was a teen, mainly fantasy & fan fiction. Reading romance for many years, I thought I would give it a try. You’ll find me writing mainly Romantic Suspense. I enjoy being able to explore my imagination by writing Paranormal & my humorous side in Romantic Comedies as well. I also write for children under the pen name Shea Gibson. Click the NEWS tab for more on Shea Gibson!
I keep busy outside the writing world working a regular job, but I have super hero power: I am a domestic goddess! I also married the love of my life, Arthur. We live in the ‘burbs of Columbus, Ohio raising our beautiful daughter, Marie.
I am an ocean loving, tea drinking, 80’s music listening, action film watching, cheering for the wrestling heel, chase your dreams kinda girl. Whatever you might be, I hope it’s with a kind heart and an open mind. Have a beautiful day!
Guarding Madison takes place in Hollywood with Lucien Trace, known as Trace, being hired by his uncle to be a bodyguard for movie star Madison Jordan. Madison is working on a film which is a recreation of her life when she was younger. In the film/her life Madison was one of 5 girls who were friends. Currently, two of the friends have been murdered so Trace's uncle, who is Madison's manager, hires Trace to guard her so she won't be added to the murders. Madison doesn't like having a bodyguard and is very nasty to Trace but finally agrees that he can stay.
The book is a great read and definitely captures the reader in the story line, but that wouldn't work if she didn't have good characters. I loved the characters. Trace, Madison and Maggie each had their own unique personalities, and they were all easy to connect with. My favorite was definitely Trace. He’s a complex character. He’s tough, a bad boy, and was often a jerk, but I loved him. Even the secondary characters were great additions to the story. I liked that they helped the story along but didn't detract from the main characters.
